No worries man, we in no way have a vision to steal logos and like I mentioned to your friend; we have had our logos designed by actual graphic designers that just so happen to take pride in our site. We hold no ill-will for the poking around, it's you guys (or maybe just one guy) doing their due diligence. While you are hear though you should let us know if you want to affiliate in some way. I'm all for checking out other sim leagues myself and wouldn't mind you guys poking around here as well.

Yeah nothing to see here. However, since he brought it up they copied @Koradek's logo. Interesting though that Koradek has been another leagues and that team over there is Montreal so maybe Koradek designed your logo and you just don't know.

Look, you came here man. If you want to come here with an issue be prepared. We don't have to look up anything. I know personally what the Breakaway Forums are and chances are the way you speak, they themselves didn't send you here. You came here on your own accord so that is where you need to come prepared. Also no money is garnered by both the Breakaway Forums or the VHL, so this is non-issue brought up by a kid it seems.

Sweet, you can also see the Red Deer Rebels logo looks a lot like various other leagues logos. They are inspired but not copied. Also, link us to this league. You can't just claim things you gotta show us proof.

Unfortunately there is no need to change something that isn't directly copied. As stated by @Mr. Power, it might be inspired but its not a direct copy. I should mention if you have a sim league out there thats the best it's strange not having heard of it.

Well it isn't a direct copy at all, tons of similarities and tons of differences. I for one can't comment on changing it nor should we have to in my opinion. I will let the designer himself come in here and comment on it himself.

Okay the styles are similar, but thats not at all a direct copy. I see a bunch of differences between them. What exactly are you looking for for an end game here? You realize this league is non-profit and no one gains from anything here right?

Any proof to that? I mean I'm all coming on and asking the question but theres gotta be a bit more from your side to lay stake to that assumption. Best to either post the logo you said that person copied or nip this in the butt. I will mention that copying a style is common, an outright copy itself though would be different.

I don't recall which member created the Bears logo. I can go back and search. I can give you names for sure, but is their a reason behind the question?

We have a bunch of members who make them. Very few of us are skilled enough to do them but believe it or not we have a few guys that do it as an actual career in their personal lives so they do them up, they are very talented. @dalejr88 Also its funny you bring this up because recently a member registered (@StopStealingfLogos). You should know that our logos are created by us, we used to have logos used in other real life leagues (as most simulation leagues do/did) but since then we have steered away from that trend.

I agree. It would be interesting to see what a team give sup for him knowing that he is due for a big pay day come the expired time of his contract.

Jacob Trouba has signed with the Winnipeg Jets! However, the deal is worth $6 Million dollars over 2 years and many things are left out in the open. This seems like a bridge deal for Trouba who at first was reported as wanting out of Winnipeg because of family pressure to leave the city. Which this deal, it leaves many things up in the air. One of those is that his contract is very manageable for another team to take on and trade with Winnipeg for. The other part is that if a suitor isn't found for Trouba would he even sign post-two-year deal with the Jets or would he go elsewhere? No I get all that, it's just that without owning your own pick it seems weird to just stop short of what could've been done. I understand you think you did but from the outside I can certainly see it as going ¾'s up the mountain.

I don't know, I still see about 3-4 players over 100 TPE that could surprise the sim a bit.

I didn't mean active FA's....

It just seems weird to not own your own pick and not at least sign every FA you can to see what happens.
