Never have voted for a guy just because he is on my team, can't say the same about Boubabi though as Stockholm players often times got votes they didn't deserve.
Hello everyone! In the hopes of boosting some creative discussion regarding hockey I figured I'd run a little debate/opinion program for everyone to chime in. Each week I will give an interesting talking point and you can come up with who or why you think your choices are the way they are. This week's topic is "The Perfect Thread Line" (out of current NHL players). I will go first below and feel free to explain your choices:
Background: I grew up watching some great third lines. Of course Pandolfo/Brylin/Madden was a favourite and so was Maltby/Draper/McCarty was another good one. Who would be your mix/match third line?
Jason Chimera - Sean Couturier - Troy Brouwer
Chimera is a leader but also for a big guy has some great wheels on him. He is a threat to score 20 goals a year as well. Couturier shutdown Malkin in the postseason one year and ever since then has been one of the most annoying players to play against, plus the beard. Brouwer is probably the best threat to score 30 goals on this line and he does everything right and isn't a handful to have in your organization like other players.
Who's yours?
Some SHL lovers, some got busy with school, some grew past sim leagues and some have family issues pop up. From the ones that said it wasn't exciting though, they usually just hated spending time in the VHLM because its just a boring league.
I'd actually say they are 50/50. I know ten members off the top of my head that when they were here, things were buzzing but they couldn't stay attracted to us.
How do you decide who wins an award that still isn't done calculating. As in how do I vote for an award where I need their complete 72 game regular season to decide on?
How would that work for awards that can only be voted for after the playoffs? Also if you have them before the playoffs how do you decide to who wins regular season awards if the stats aren't done totalling in full?
I thought he stepped down? Maybe he got hired again and then stepped down again? Hard to track him because he steps down and gets hired every 2 season.
He is out, in his place is @evrydayimbyfuglien
