*DISCLAIMER* - This is probably the 4th article I have done basically on the same topic. I am truly sorry for that, but its the easiest for me to churn out. I hope you enjoy the 4th version of the same topic, and hopefully its different enough so that you all can still enjoy it. Is history in the making for the former Vasteras IK J20 franchise? Before this season, GM Bruce Wayne of the Moscow Red Wolves promised fans that Moscow would be competitive in S38. So many fans and league officials laughed in Mr. Wayne’s face claiming that it would be near impossible, and trust me; there was not much support behind Mr. Wayne’s claims. Moscow Red Wolves' Steve Tremblay taking the puck towards net. The Moscow franchise had just finished the season as the 3rd worst team in the VHLM, and were heading into a decent draft with picks spread out across the rounds, not focused in the first round where the majority of the impactful talent is selected. All seemed lost when the inexperienced GM Bruce Wayne picked Seth Rollins 3rd overall. Rollins was not even considered a 1st round pick, so this only added fuel to the laughing stock that Moscow was becoming. Following the draft, Mr. Wayne admitted to his faults and only gave himself a “C.” A “C” is definitely not the grade a team going from bottom-feeder to cup team should get. At this point, there were rumors that Moscow Red Wolves’ executives were debating on whether letting the 3-season veteran GM go. So what allowed Mr. Wayne to keep his job? The promise and attitude he brought to Moscow. As Vasteras, there was little to no hope for them to achieve anything more than first overall. However, as Moscow, under Bruce Wayne, there was still hope, especially since he had a good reputation among players and other GMs, though he himself was young and inexperienced. So how did Mr. Wayne save himself from complete embarrassment? Well firstly, Mr. Wayne did not trade his second 1st round draft pick, Steve Tremblay. Rumor had it that teams had inquired about his availability and were willing to pay handsomely for his services. However, Mr. Wayne stuck to his guns and decided to keep Tremblay. With 54 goals and 96 points in 43 games, Steve Tremblay has not disappointed. He currently leads his team both in production and as the captain of the team. Moscow Red Wolves' Moe Mills was a mid season trade acquisition But surely one man could not win his team the cup. This is true, and Moscow actually began the season with a losing record. This caused fans to call for Mr. Wayne’s firing and the skeptics cheering that they had been right all along. However, something changed about 10 games into the season. Mr. Wayne chalks it up to some minor line changes, but whatever Mr. Wayne told his men in the locker room, it worked. Moscow began climbing in the standings: first to a playoffs spot, and now to the conference title. Their ascension to the conference title position is not solely from UFA and draft editions, but also from huge trade acquisitions from rebuilding teams. This includes players: forward Jackson Miller (12 goals and 29 points in 22 games) and defensemen Moe Mills (13 assists and 15 points in 22 games). Both have played a key role for Moscow as Jackson Miller has been on the first line with Steve Tremblay and Aksel Thomassen (39 assists and 51 points in 43 games), and Moe Mills has been playing first pair. Aksel Thomassen has been anchoring Moscow's top line since the inception of the season Summed together, Mr. Wayne has put together a competitive team who is 29-13-1 for 59 points in 43 games. In their last ten games, Moscow has gone 7-3-0. They currently sit first in their conference: ahead of the Turku Outlaws by 3 points, and 2nd in the league: behind the Yukon Rush by 9 points. The projection is that the Moscow Red Wolves will remain atop their conference, but remain in second overall in the league standings. Though this might be a setback, Moscow fans can be rest assured that Mr. Wayne is holding to his promise that Moscow will be competitive this season.

I think it would be very wrong (wrong to the point of punishable by death) if the Moscow Red Wolves do not claim Boris Belov. claims Boris Belov

To Moscow Moe Mills S39 Oslo 3rd To Oslo : S40 Moscow 2nd First two trades of Oslo's new gm are with Moscow. Happy to add a decent defenseman who will improve our first pair drastically. Though I had to give up almost all my pick assets in the next two seasons, I think if Moscow could win a cup this year then it would totally be worth it. Thanks Draper for fun but intense negotiations. Good luck!

What a name though.. Andrew Jackson Jihad.. Confederate loving Muslims? @Eagles

Seth: Actually you have a choice d3vilsfire: lol what? Seth: Jihad who for whatever reason is doing great in sim with 0 tpe...or Mira, who has 33 tpe and has 23 points but only in 15 games Can't go wring with either for help. wrong* My comment(s) to this: Y would i go for Jihad if i could get Mira? Edit: Seth thought the line, "Y would i go for Jihad if i could get Mira?" was in the chat log.. guess i didnt make its distinction clear enough.. sorry :/

Im glad i have enough power/generated a large enough fear factor to convince GMs to trade a 2nd for a 0 TPE player Just so you know, as the deal has been posted, I was not really interested in Jihad.. lol

Confirm. Quick and easy dealings. Congrats on the promotion Draper and I wish Oslo luck. Moscow is able to strengthen their forward group with this monster and he should bring a good locker room presence.

RG3 and KJA gazing at the ice from the bench during a Riga game If anyone has been keeping up with the locker room rumors in Riga, it has been a little heated. Several key players of a strong Riga roster do not seem to be performing when they need to. This includes both RG3 and rookie Konstantin Azhishchenkov. RG3 is a VHL veteran of 3 years and has dedicated himself to mastering the art of goal scoring. However, this training has proved to be futile as he has not scored a goal yet this season already 17 games into it. Rookie Konstantin Azhishchenkov has also seen a huge drop in production since his VHLM years. The young rookie only has 2 points, though he has more goals than RG3 with 1, in 17 games. This low production is not what Azhishchenkov or Riga expected when one of their top prospects finally arrived in Riga. However, unlike RG3, Azhishchenkov has not been many minutes to shine, so the jury is still out there for Azhishchenkov to turn around his rookie season.

Since the start of his tenure as GM of the Moscow Red Wolves, GM Bruce Wayne has said that Season 38 would be Moscow’s year to shine. No one believed him as the Vasteras IK J20 (the team that Bruce Wayne inherited before having them move to Moscow, Russia) were almost as bad as the VHL team in the same city. Vasteras was a joke and was known for being a bottom feeder. Therefore, when Moscow said their goal was to shine in Season 38, everyone just laughed. VHLM fans called it a public relations stunt in order to draw more money from local fans and to make it seem like a makeover really changed things. Going through Season 37, everyone was laughing at Bruce Wayne. Sure he said that the turn of the franchise was going to happen in Season 38, but Season 37 was so horrendous that it seemed like too much of a stretch to see a bottom feeder turn into a playoff or even a cup contender. However, Wayne knew that the key to succeeding was scoring well in the draft. Building up his draft picks, he hoped and prayed that the Season 38 VHLM Dispersal Draft was going to be a good one. Possessing the 3rd overall and the 8th overall in the draft, Moscow was in a position to inflict serious damage. Although the 3rd overall choice was a dozy for Moscow, in that picking Seth Rollins was a major stretch, Wayne “recovered” by drafting Steve Tremblay with the 8th overall. After having a relatively average draft following the first round (save G Jose Canseco who was an excellent pick in the second round) where Moscow really addressed forwards and forward depth, fans and critics were not sure of what to think of the new Red Wolves. After losing top point producer Boone Cassidy, Wayne was in a position of replacing talent rather than adding talent to talent. This among the relatively average forwards and lack of defense fueled the rumors that Wayne would not be able to hold his promise with the fans. It did not help that Moscow started Season 38 very poorly and was surely not going to go to playoffs on that track much less be a contender. Instead of panicking, Wayne simply decided to make a line-up change, and boom! A miracle happened. Moscow began to win game after game. Currently sitting in 2nd place in the European Conference, Moscow is currently in a playoff position and is improving itself as their players mature and become stronger. Moscow team captain and highly touted Cologne Express forward prospect Steve Tremblay is leading the way for Moscow 24 goals and 43 points in 17 games. His contribution to the team is invaluable and has truly helped Moscow achieve its goals. Defenseman Dale Kent is also helping Moscow offensively while being a strong defenseman. Kent currently has 22 assists and no goals in 17 games. Forward Seth Rollins is also contributing to the team even though his production is nowhere close to that of Steve Tremblay with 10 goals and 15 points in 17 games. Goalie Jose Canseco has also held the Moscow Red Wolves together, although his stats could possibly be better, 10-7-0 in 17 games, .872 save percentage, 4.21 goals against average. Not all-star numbers, but his stats are improving, and that is really all you can hope for as Moscow is also improving. So will Moscow shine in Season 38 like GM Bruce Wayne said they would be? Only time will tell, but this could be a nice history change for the former Vasteras franchise. P.S.: Shout-out to Eagles who was sad that there was no mention of him last article. Eagles,I think we should consider switching spots on the line-up. I have more goals than you and you have 98 scoring. SMH P.S.S.: Shout-out to Draper. Just do what you do bro.

Captain: F SteveTremblay Assistant: G Jose Canseco Assistant: F Aksel Thomassen Each of these players are first years on my team, but I believe that their strong work ethic and determination are amazing and therefore believe that they should lead Moscow.

Mr. D3vilsfire Agent D3vilsfire has had a lot to deal with the beginning of season 38. As the representative of both GM Bruce Wayne of the Moscow Red Wolves and VHL center man Konstantin Jaroslav Azhishchenkov who is starting his first season with the Riga Reign. With Wayne making a change in team mentality, and KJA finally making it to the VHL after two seasons in the VHLM (1 with the Ottawa Lynx and 1 with the Yukon Rush), Agent D3vilsfire is a wanted man. Lately it has been interview requests of Mr. Wayne and of KJA, but sometimes D3vilsfire has had to schedule charity events and public relations stunts for Wayne and KJA. Luckily, we were able to catch the busy man and conduct a short interview with him. Interviewer: Hello, Mr. D3vilsfire! D3vilsfire: Well hello. Interviewer: We know that you have been very busy as of recent. With so much happening between Mr. Wayne and KJA, who takes up the majority of your time? D3vilsfire: Well Mr. Wayne is much older than KJA, so the same protections that need to be applied to KJA do not really need to be applied to Mr. Wayne. Mr. Wayne is definitely more popular in terms of interviews and press because he rarely conducts interviews. KJA, however, is interviewed before and after every single game. Anyway, the answer to your question is neither. (Mr. D3vilsfire's Agency. Inside picture.) Interviewer: What? D3vilsfire: Mr. Wayne and KJA are not my only clients. I am a “man of many talents,” as my wife likes to say. I currently run the Edmonton Oilers in The Pacific Exclusive Hockey League (TPEHL), and I am the commissioner in that league. Interviewer: You are joking right? How can you be a GM, commissioner, and a player/gm agent? D3vilsfire: Sounds crazy right? I have a ton on my plate, but I truly enjoy what I do. I have the backing of my family who accompany me on trips when they are not busy and my clients always know that I am there for them whenever they need me. Interviewer: That sounds like too much in my opinion, however, I am only the interviewer, so next question. Have you managed to take on any more clients? D3vilsfire: Yes, I actually have been able to take on more clients! Recent Washington Redskins’ (National Football League) draft picks, outside linebacker Trent Murphy and offensive guard Stephen Long, have requested me to represent them as their agent. I obviously accepted as I am a huge fan of the Redskins and will always be willing to take on more clients. (KJA on left. Edmonton Assistant GM center left. Edmonton Head of Public Relations center right. Bruce Wayne on right.) Interviewer: Wow. All right last question. Why is your name D3vilsfire. That is obviously not your true name. D3vilsfire: Ah. You have caught me. Haha. D3vilsfire is not my real name, but my business name. I wanted a name that stood out to people and would not get lost among the more generic names. I will not however, disclose my true name. Sorry. *RRRRRRRIIIIINGGGGGG* D3vilsfire: Oops! This is an important call. Interviewer: I guess that’s my cue to end this. Thanks for letting us have this interview D3vilsfire. D3vilsfire: No problem, thanks for having me!
