Julius Freeman is on fire lately. 3 points in another win. Good for him for stepping up his game.

Much love on this post. @Thranduil is the man. Thanks for the kind words.

Julius Freeman has been working hard this season to up his draft stock. He started off with a whole month disadvantage from some of the top players in HHH and Shane Mars, and many other plays who started before him but with hard work and determination he now hold the spot of 3rd best TPE in the season 66 draft. Julius was undrafted in the VHLM due to the fact that he joined the league after the draft happened. Who knows what could have been or where he would be in stats and ranking if he was drafted rather than picking his own team in Halifax. At the end of the day, Julius can only take care of his business and let the world around him do what they do best... Move on. Julius has his goals set high at reaching Shane Mars and HHH but that may never happen but He believes that trying will be half the battle for his VHL career. Julius is an active player who has pushed past any other First time player in this draft and hopefully he can keep that slot. He knows others will try and take it from him eventually but he will push back with everything he has to keep that honor. What will it mean for his draft stock maybe nothing since some mock drafts still have him going as the last pick in the first but He will do everything in his power to make teams that pass on him regret that decision. #Competing against Two BEASTS and a fully stacked Draft Class

LW - Julius Freeman TPE - 219 A scrub who wrote this piece. LW - Dimitri Volosenkov TPE - 207 Dimitri is the captain of the Halifax 21st and does a great job at getting his TPE as well as bring forth an environment that encourages and helps people around him with whatever they need. He is a terrific guy who can help your team grow and keep people active with his charming personality and demeanor. Growth-wise @SirRupertBarnes may not max every week, but he tries to make sure he gets something every week. It looks like his player build is moving toward a two-way player build. He will probably focus on his overall game making him a great pickup for any team that needs a solid winger and a great guy. I expect him to be around for many seasons, and any team willing to give him a shot will probably not regret it. You cannot miss with this guy since he gets his and helps others get theirs. C - Jet Jaguar TPE - 190 Jet has been a new addition to Halifax since being acquired in a trade before the deadline. Jet has been an active voice in the team discord encouraging others and generally being excited about being with a good group of people. @gorlab brought Jet into this league with many points Carryover from his previous skater and since then has been crushing it every week getting every point that he was able to. Jet might leapfrog some players on draft night since he has a proven track record with a previous skater, is consistently active getting his TPE and an overall great guy. I think Jet will be a steal for anyone willing to pick him up. Don't wait too long in the draft though when people around his number start getting picked he will probably already be off the board. D - Rhye Tyr TPE - 159 Rhye is an assistant captain with the Halifax 21st and outside of being inactive lately is an excellent locker room presence. When he is active he regularly near maxes. @Plate is a strong force to be reckoned when he is active, and I suspect that soon he will come back and be a great person and player. Rhye Come back baby and take your place as one of the top defense in this draft. D - Edward Vigneault TPE - 115 Edward also came to Halifax in a trade and since joining has been pretty active in the team discord. He maxed out his first couple of weeks then started to get into the welfare game. No shame in that since he is sticking with it. @Patpou22 seems like someone who will take an interest in the league for some time even if it's not always maxing out each week. Don't sleep on this guy if he stays active at the draft he will probably get a new sense of purpose once he gets drafted to a VHL team. C - Nacho TPE - 115 Nacho is an exciting case of Flaming out. He is flame that blew bright but now is not claiming for a couple of weeks. Maybe he will get back on the horse and start doing his thing again, but for the time being, he is a missing piece on the TPE and in the locker room. It was always a pleasure to talk with Nacho since when he was active, he was one of the most passionate people in the locker room. COME BACK NACHO. D - Papa Gage TPE - 87 Papa is a solid Defenseman who is a fun person to chat with when given the opportunity. Solid TPE earner who gets his weekly welfare check in the mail. He seems like he can jump to the next level in activity if something big happens for him in the postseason. Solid guy who is also a fan of the best team in the NHL. LW - Cody Smith TPE - 82 Cody is the next best thing in Halifax, and everyone will know it someday. He may not get the most minutes in Halifax, but he does make the most of them when he gets them. He is very active in discord and will be ready for the big leagues when he is stronger in TPE. Stable TPE earner you know will get his weekly TPE in but won't be breaking any weekly records any time soon. He is going to be big. LW - Blake Gaudette TPE -77 Blake is a solid welfare earner who gets his claims in most weeks. He has been a little inactive, but I'm unsure whether that is a permeate thing or merely a midseason slump. An active player on discord who is a fun person to chat to and can help bring joy to any locker room that he is able to join. LW - Devin Gabella TPE -60 A new skater who within the first two weeks got 30 TPE nothing to sneeze about either. Looking to be a solid TPE earner for someone looking in the late picks. Possibly higher if he keeps this up and others start to trail off. Pretty excited about the early successes he has had on the team, which I think/hope will translate into more extended longevity. RW - AJ Axelsen TPE - 58 AJ is a newer skater who has been around for two weeks and already doing good work on updating and creating a good skater. Fairly active on discord and gets his weekly TPE into the portal. What more can you ask for from a new person? With some more know-how and time can become a good skater for a team some time down the road. Recently he is getting his first couple of points in the sims, and I think that might help him get hooked on the league. D - Fabius Adomaitis TPE - 51 Slightly inactive player but when she is on discord she is a pleasure to talk to and have around. If she picks the league back up, she can be a great locker room presence for any team looking for one. C - Charles Alderson TPE - 50 A newer skater who is still learning the ropes to the league. But once he gets more of the knowledge involved can be a solid pickup. Asks a lot of good questions in discord and I think he will grow into a great player someday. 1064 words

@FrostBeard how does it feel stealing the first star from your teammate in this great win against Philly? @Beaviss Do you feel like 4 points in a win against Philly is a bit low for a player of your caliber?
-
a 4-1 victory is a nice way to come back with the first star. Always good to see someone active in the game chats be rewarded in the stat sheets.
-
Nice 1-2 punch Houston has with Samuel Sparrow and Kari Jurri. Good to see a younger defenseman get his in a game. Always good to see Jurri on the score sheet when he is playing teams other than Halifax.
-
Holy Shane are you tired of HHH getting all the glory on mock drafts that you are just putting up points in every game now. Shit 4 points with 3 assists in this dominating win against Houston. You don't have to punish every team for the sports writers folly.
-
HHH with only 1 goal in a stat padding game against Philly he must really be sick. Someone call the doctors, this is no longer a joke.
-
Don Draper trying to keep the Ottawa fan base alive with the first start but after Ottawa sold off some of their best players. Las Vegas can just come in and do what they will with Ottawa. Good on Ottawa for keeping it close though.
-
Shane Mars with the Hat Trick, Julius Freeman in the loss was close behind him though with 2 goals and an assist.
-
Another good game down the stretch for Julius Freeman. Maybe he is getting ready for the draft and trying to raise his stock.
-
I suspect you send drugs and other bad things to our rooms the night before the game.

Team Asia Forwards 1st Line: LW - Dimitri Volosenkov C - Viktor Kozlov RW - Matthew Kai Dimitri Volosenkov has had a great season so far with Halifax after being drafted 17th overall and has rewarded them with 65 points in 54 games. He is a great teammate who can score, pass, and help keep the opposing team in check with his monster checks. All in all, I expect good things from him in this WCJ. Viktor Kozlov has spent this season in the VHLM with the Houston Bulls. Viktor has played well on that team amassing 51 points in 54 games. Viktor is a great two way forward who plays good defense keeping other teams away from his goalie by playing zone and checking those who come to close. He is a great teammate preferring to pass than shooting allowing his teammates to shine. Matthew Kai is the sniper that rounds out this line. On loan from his VHLM team, Matthew will put defenders on tilt with his quik release and overall excellent offensive play. Being a part of the Minnesota Storm, Matthew he has 59 points in 54 games. He has more assists than goals, but that is mostly because his teammates in Minnesota are equally talented. 2nd Line: LW - Chico Smeb C - Chance Matthews RW - Kyle Sabertooth Chico Smeb is another player to hail from the Minnesota Storm, and even though his stat line this year is not as stellar as his fellow storms, his potential for future years, He has an excellent pass and prides himself on always giving the puck to his teammates in ways that allow them to shine. Chance Matthews is a returning player who is currently a journeyman who is now without a team. What he brings to the team though are his passing ability and puck handling skills. He should be able to keep the puck from the other side and pass to his teammates when they are ready to score. Kyle Sabertooth is an excellent addition to this line. He comes from the Las Vegas Aces scoring 57 points in 54 games. Kyle is the sniper who will benefit from the extraordinary abilities of Chico and Change. I expect him to score on this line and show why he is a great player with Vegas. 3rd Line LW - Bert Meyers C - Raphael Nazarians RW - Valeri Morozov Bert Meyers is a great all-around forward to help solidify the third line of team Asia. He will probably play some time on the penalty kill because he is an excellent defensive forward. He has skill on the faceoff which will serve him well against some of the opposing teams. Bert will be an excellent addition to this team and the special teams. Raphael Nazarians is a pure sniper who is still young in his career in the VHL. He will probably have another year in the VHLM, but he is again putting up good numbers of 55 points in 54 games, looking forward to seeing his growth in a couple of years. He can be one of the best snipers next year in the VHLM, and will probably score a couple in this tournament. Valeri Morozov is another pure sniper on this line that will probably surprise some teams when they put their third lines to match. Valeri has a tremendous defensive mindset that allows him to exploit other teams defense with his scoring ability. Defense 1st Pairing: LD - Evgeni Komarov RD - Bald Guy Evgeni Komarov is a strong leader on this team. He hails from the Moscow Menace providing veteran leadership on this young team Asia. Evgeni is a steady defensive defenseman who has great awareness as well as checking ability to put that awareness to use in putting his opponents into the boards. Evgeni will keep Asia in most games with his ability to block shots and hit other players. Bald Guy is almost the perfect partner to Evgeni, He is a great offensive defenseman, who excels at bringing up the puck and shooting a wicked slapshot at other goalies. He is a born leader who will keep his team alive even in the direst situations. 2nd Pairing: LD - Edward Vigneault RD - James Lombardi Edward Vigneault a young defenseman who can grow with team Asia for a couple more years. He is rounding out to be a great puck moving defenseman, who in a few years when he works on his shooting ability will become a great offensive defenseman. James Lombardi is a defenseman who will play the body when he can. He has a strong shot, and even though he has been around for a while, he still has room to grow. He will help some of the younger defensemen with his wisdom and playing years. 3rd Pairing: LD - Cody Parkey RD - Srraxxarrakex II Cody Parkey is a tremendous passing defenseman that is still young in this league. He has been able to grow with the Saskatoon Wild, and will probably become a staunch defender in the coming years. Cody already has 14 assists this season. He looks like he will grow fast since it seems like he is trying hard to train every week. Srraxxarrakex II is a defenseman who has a strong shot. He plays defense well and will eventually be a steady defender. He has excellent upside with a great chance and in the next seasons will grow into a defender who can lead team Asia to a possible WCJ win. Starting Goalie: Tyler Smith Tyler Smith is one of the backups for HC Davos Dynamo. He played strong for Halifax a couple of seasons ago, but he still might help team Asia do well this WCJ. Tyler has been inactive lately, but he might even be able to do some work for team Asia. Backup Goalie: Divaani Sohva Divaani Sohva is the back up for the Minnesota Storm and will help Team Asia stay alive in this competitive World Cup Juniors. He has been posting a 0.881 save percentage when he is playing with Minnesota this season. 1008 Words More Teams to Come.

I think the weakest point in my game is my goal scoring. I defer a lot right now in my career to other talented scores but there are times where I just need to shoot the puck. Minnesota. That team is stacked. Their 2nd and third lines are better than some other teams 1st lines. Philly mostly because they sold off early. Not really. I wish I were more assertive in my play. I could have been playing harder and stronger all season but I have not. Not really a role-model but more of a rival. @Beaviss HHH has been on my radar since I joined the league since he has been the top dog in my draft and I am pushing myself to be as tough and impactful as he is on his team. Honestly, I just hope 3 seasons from now I am helping a team toward a cup run. I would like to be a starter or even a start player but I will be happy if I am producing and helping others play the game I love.

No one likes Minnesota winning outside of Minnesota.
-
Maybe you tore a quad? Take a game or two off to rest. Those team doctors don't realize rest is good for injuries?
-
The GM can only do so much you need to tell the coach the plan... Make everyone full D on the lines maybe? I would be messing with those lines all the time to see if it could do something cool for future seasons.

Even in the win Saskatoon doesn't get a single star. I guess those homer announcers wanted to get something in the loss.
