  1. As a team I am so proud of what we have accomplished. Halifax set out to make it to the cup and we are here. Now we just need to finish strong and win the thing. Everyone here has worked hard to get here and I cannot say how ecstatic to be apart of this team and how well we have done. As an Individual I feel like I have not been pulling my weight this postseason. I got 100 points in the regular season and I feel like I am not pulling my weight in the postseason and in the finals. I would change when I entered the league. If I knew about this league I would have joined sooner. Maybe I would have been more ready to help the team and be higher in the draft stock. I have worked hard but sometimes Time is the only thing that will equalize us. That is a super tough one. And if you think I'm going to pick just one then you don't know me at all. I love @SirRupertBarnes who when I first came into this league was a great captain and a measuring stick to hold myself up against, he helped me early on and I cannot thank him enough. @Bucky___lastard is such a great teammate and line mate that anyone who says otherwise I'll fight. Also the fact that he is always so encouraging in what I say helps. He's awesome. @Plate is always fun to be around and he has some big ideas on how to make a better league and is crazy enough to try and do some of it. @gorlab was brought in through a trade but it never felt like it. when he comes into the locker-room it explodes with energy and hes a cool and knowledgable guy. What makes a great teammate? I think its honesty and passion. What ever else you bring to the table is great but if you are sincere and passionate then we can have fun with the differences. Honestly I have no idea. I am third in the ranking but that can change in an instance. So I'm super Nervous, There are great players all around me and they are not slowing down. The first 2 are almost locks but maybe not, I have no idea. A lot of the teams who have early picks also have good wingers. So even if I'm an early pick do I fit in a team? I honestly have no clue where I would be going. Few GM's have reached out so I don't know how much interest there actually is. I work hard. I have and will continue to max out every week that I am involved in this league. I am super active and will do my best to stay active, as long as I can. I am smart and have crunched numbers to see what the best way to train is and I will do everything in my power to close the distance to what may be one of the most stacked drafts in VHL history. I am loyal to those who believe in me. @McWolf saw some hunger in me and said I worked hard I could do great. I worked hard and he believed in me enough to give me 1st line minutes. I rewarded him with 100 point season and a maxed player for playoffs. I know VHL there is no maxing but if you put trust in me I will reward you as best as I can. @Thranduil you will be an awesome GM and I think that you will help Halifax come back to the finals. You are awesome and I think you will do great things as GM. Also don't forget VHLM is more about teaching and encouraging than winning. but if you do those well then winning should come easy.
  2. New Questions for week of Apr 15-21. Answer 3 Questions for 1 TPE or 6 Questions for 2 TPE. Enjoy! 1. Are you proud of how we have played this postseason as a team and as an individual? 2. If you could change one thing about this season/postseason what would it be? 3. Who has been your favorite Teammate this season and why? What makes a great teammate to you? 4. How are you looking toward the VHL draft? Are you excited? Nervous? Where do you see yourself going? 5. If you had to sell yourself to VHL GM's what would you say? 6. Halifax GM McWolf announced he will be resigning once the season is finished. Thranduil is most likely his successor. Any words of wisdom or encouragement for him?
  3. If you have any questions for me, I'll do my best to give honest answers.
  4. Interesting thinking about going for a first gen with the first pick. Could be risky or it could be a great idea. #1stgensarepeopletoo
  5. Rough first game but I still have faith in this Halifax team.
  6. I concur.
  7. Great Series Really proud of Halifax and Houston. Both teams were great. Glad it's not over for Halifax but now I have to stress about Minnesota.
  8. I would be lying if I were to say I want the season to end on this game seven. This has been a whirlwind of a season and I don't want it to end. I have played my heart out and so has my team. I cannot say that I have been as effective as I normally am and that might have something to do with the game plan that Houston has put against us. They are double shifting their top players to stop me when I'm on the ice. It's tough knowing your team counts on you and you have been worthless this postseason. Whether this is the start of a finals trip against a stack Minnesota team or the end against a good Houston Team. I am happy to be playing alongside my team-mates. Each and every one of them has done their best to grow and help the team succeed. not every single one of them has made it to the end but I am so proud of all the players who have stuck around and will continue to be great players in the future. Halifax may not have the most impressive players but I like to think they have one of the best locker rooms. We help each other when we need. We push each other to be better than we were. Win or lose this Game 7. I am proud of the S65 Halifax 21st.
  9. IDK how I feel about this anymore. I'm starting to feel like this match is simply a battle of philosophies in the VHLM. You have Houston who is a good team that runs 3 lines with a great group of people. Then you have Halifax who is running 4 lines trying to get as many people involved and excited about VHL as possible. Who will win? IDK? I don't know how I feel about what Halifax should do b/c I think top line vs top line its super close. 2nd line vs 2nd line Houston by a little. 3rd line by 3rd line its Halifax. 4th line vs Houston 1st line again. ohh? I know people talk about VHL being a two-line league but when its the VHLM I don't know what the right way to do it is?
  10. Tough seeing a team fight each other. When they needed to fight the enemy.
  11. Shit Minnesota is scary. How did they get this stacked? Can someone write a article about how they got such a stacked team?
  12. @Bucky___lastardThanks for saving us on that one.
  13. Sorry boys I don't know why but lately im Invisible.
  14. @Beaviss Why Why... you were the chosen one?
  15. Why is it when I start off strong we just cant finish.
  16. Truthfully If my first answer stands I don't mind I looked and did the research and answered the best I know I could but recently people have been bringing up weird things about an exception in one of the answers I thought was not an option. The whole thing made me confused and honestly since I don't know the history I trust them more than I trust my own knowledge.
  17. Same please
  18. I would like to throw my name in the ring. I still think I'm new but I am not afraid to ask questions and try and get the help from anyone I can. I will do my best to make the team that I am lucky enough to GM one of the best teams in the league. I will do my best to give everyone a great shot at playing while trying to win. I will help everyone on my team stay active and give tips that will help them grow into great players for the VHL someday. Also Thanks @Beaviss for tagging me and thinking that I would do a great job. ?#notworthy #willdomybestanyways
  19. It is a really good bounce-back game to show some life. Good win.
  20. Minnesota is strong but you gotta get out of this round for our finals match up ?
  21. That was a nail bitter. GG Houston. Im still new is that the series or does it go longer after the WC?
  22. Not going to lie I was super worried about this game since Houston won many of our games in the regular season.
  23. Clayton Park is the real MVP.
