  1. GL to Yukon in the next round. Minnesota is tough.
  2. Julius Freeman got 100 points and and was top 9 in all VHLM players in points while also having the least Minutes played out of all player ahead of him. Only 1 player was more efficient than him in all the league and that player was on a super team.

  3. Julius Freeman Forward Points: 10 +/-: 5
  4. No by my count Im back 10 TPE. But trust me if it were closer I would also be invading some VHL game chats for extra chances at that sweet sweet lotto.
  5. Idk I just did a count of TPE that I 100% know I would have gotten and I would be within 10 TPE to you and that is another month for me to win another lottery so idk?
  6. How about this? If Julius Freeman started playing at the same time as Shane Mars and HHH, He would be closer to those players in TPE. Maybe even Better... @Beaviss @Spade18
  7. also congrats on just sneaking in on the scoring title.
  8. It's not a bad thing to have. Hopefully your squad has better luck next season.
  9. Good win by Saskatoon to bad the stars didn't align for a late playoff spot.
  10. Strong start bumpy middle. Decent End. Good luck in the playoffs.
  11. Good for HHH to get another 2nd star. Also great to see @FrostBeard doing so well during this season. Good for him for getting that 1st star.
  12. Ottawa not letting these last games go to waste for the young roster hopefully its a good sign for next season.
  13. Its tough to seperate the games and the sims sometimes but hopefully the VHL treats you better.
  14. Another close win by Minnesota vs Las Vegas. Wonder if that will be a sign for the playoffs.
  15. Philly doing great with the tank bowl. Houston with a strong win. SO PUMPED for the playoffs.
  16. Nice win by Minnesota to lead to the playoffs against a good opponent.
  17. Thank you Ottawa. Just past 100 points in the season right on the nose.
  18. Close game Didn't get a point but we won. Why is our ice time so shared though. Top line should not be getting only 16 mins. PLEASE FIX BEFORE PLAYOFFS.
  19. Not a great sight to see we struggled against Ottawa. But thats 1 of 3 left.
  20. Thanks, FrostBeard. I always look forward to the ECW and your kind words made me smile this morning.
  21. When I thought about this season I had no idea what I would do or even where I would end up. I joined the league after the VHLM Draft, so when most new players have a team that picks them I did not have that luxury. Some people don't think of that as a luxury but to me not knowing anything about the league it would have been. Someone putting blind faith in me and picking would have been nice, but I ended talking with a few GM's and after getting some sage advice from @McWolf about asking What I want and balancing that out with realistic expectations, I join his team. He was real with me and the expectations that I should have. Being new I will be starting on the third line and if I work hard I can work toward the second line. This was my expectations that at my cap I would be a second line LW especially since we already had a great LW in @SirRupertBarnes. I worked hard to get as much experience as I could and I surprised everyone including myself in the VHLM preseason. One that I am so thankful for especially since they should not have had one. With my preseason performance and my dedication apparent to my team and GM, I was fortunate to be selected as one of the Assistant Captains. A great honor that I would do my best to earn. Along with that McWolf believed in me and gave me the opportunity of a lifetime to get some first line minutes. It was on the RW but hey I was playing minutes that I did not deserve at the time. But that belief pushed me and made me want to earn as much experience as I possibly could. I would prove to Mcwolf that his faith in me was not wrong. I pushed myself to the limit more times than not. There was not a week that went by that I was not sore from all the training but through that, It made me a better player. I was selected to the WJC world team, for a different position but It showed that I was getting recognised by more than just my team. I vowed that I would be good enough to make it in my own position by the time the tournament started and even though I think I did, some people still only saw me as an alternate. I did my best and worked my position as best as I could and even in my few minutes, I was able to get some points for the team. Now there are 3 games left in the regular season and I am sitting at 97 points. Something I could only dream about when I was thinking about the start of my career but now its possible to get 100 points in my first season. That would be great. Hopefully, I get it. Hopefully, we go far in the playoffs. Hopefully, we can bring a cup to Halifax where it belongs. EDIT: He did get his 100 points in the season
  22. I wonder what would have happened if I actually got to play some first line minutes.

  24. 1. I work hard and set my goals higher than anyone thought possible. At the beginning of my time in Halifax, I was promised the second line if I worked hard. I worked so hard that I got first line time. Near halfway to the season, I top 20 TPE in my draft year, now I'm #3, only beaten by salaried individuals who have an extra month on me. 2. Honestly I think it normally should go to the best player on the best team. the problem with that is I think you can take away the best few players on Minnesota and they would still be one of the best teams so its hard for me to pick one of them. HHH is doing great points wise but if he is not on then his team suffers and at a time he is not on, I would have to say him though. OR in a weird way you can take the second place team HALIFAX and then look at their player with the most points sitting at 97 right now. COUGH COUGH. JK 3. Well some of my favorite times where when we were first getting to know each other. IT was a good time to be part of the team everyone super active, people getting nicknames. People really excited to compete. Great group of people and I think they are great. 4. So honestly this may sound cold hearted but I think we need to cut some of the lower lines minutes. When you look at some other teams their top lines are playing at least 45-50% of the time. Is that fair not really but when look at other teams and we have our 4th line against their top line for any stretch of time it does not bow well for us. I would engage playoff mode and cut the icetime of some players to make sure we have a shot at winning it all. 5. I think if we have shot if we work hard and change up our game plan to what I said in the previous question. 6. I will repeat what I said when I was chosen to be an assistant captain of this team. We are a team first and foremost, and together we will push Halifax past the point where past teams have fallen short. We will do this for them, We will do this for Us, We will do this for all future Halifax. and I will add FOR @McWolf
  25. Jack Lynch with the first star again with his new team. Great to see him doing well after the move.
