  2. Congrats Ottawa, never even gave the Storm a fighting chance
  3. Finishing just one point ahead of Helsinki, the Vancouver Wolves played host for the initial two games of the series. The Titans were overwhelmed out of the gate allowing 10 shots on goal to their three in the first 20 minutes of the series. Goaltender Alexander Pepper was up to the task and helped Helsinki escape the onslaught. The Titans fought hard in the second yet were still out-shot 12 to nine. Yet, the Helsinki managed to take a two to one lead into the 3rd period after early goals from Fontenette and their point leader Dan Wilinsky. Both goalies held their grounds in the final frame stopping 13 shots a piece. Helsinki emerged victorious and took game one of the series. Game two provided Vancouver fans with much of the same in the first period. They out-shot the Titans 13 to nine but saw two goals to their zero hit the twine. Vancouver came out with a vengeance in the second frame scoring three goals including Gritty's much desired first of the playoffs. The score would be three to three after 40 minutes. The third frame was another onslaught by the Wolves as they fired 18 shots to Helsinki's six. Pepper was up to the task yet again as both clubs only allowed one goal. The score was four to four heading into sudden death. The Titans and Wolves showed equal grit and puck possession firing ten shots on goal a piece. Finally, at the 15:09 mark of the first overtime; Julius Freeman scored his 6th of the playoffs to tie the series at one. Games three and four will be back in Helsinki. The Titans did not fare as well at home as they did on the road during the regular season. Helsinki was just five games over .500 at home while being 10 games above on the road. Vancouver had identical home and away records of records of 20-12-4.

  5. Nicely done boys. Should never have gone 7 after yesterdays puzzling mess, but we got it done anyhow.
  6. But three guys with 73 points are on the forward list. What are the requirements to make the considerations?
  7. Borwinn missing here....hmm

  14. 1- Did you do how you expected this season? Not at all, after an MVP 114 point season Borwinn fell to just 77. Helsinki had stretches of greatness but for the most part struggled with line chemistry. That being said, we are one game from making the VHL finals. 2- Blade put on the Golden Scythe Awards, did you win anything? The awards were very well presented. Obviously I was not eligible as a member of the management staff but it was fun to read the awards and gauge the reactions. 3- How Did you feel about The Awards Given out this season at out team Awards? Could not have been better. Blade is the best of the best and she shines the brightest when creating an immersive experience for her team. 5- Name one fun thing about being a Reaper? You really never know what crazy RP storyline is going to come out of that locker-room. 6- Who is your off season Golf buddy? (I'm booking us all Tee Times lol) Sunny Burst. Quiet on the greens peeps! Fun Stuff -Reapers are throwing another party to celebrate our amazing season, sometimes even when you are stack you don't win but hey at least we have a group of amazing people! So lets do What the Reaper have always done best and party. We destroyed the White house after winning last season (if you don't know green wrote an amazing article on it last season), can you imagine what we will do after this loss!! 7-Where are we throwing this Party? Blade's Cottage (Round 2 for this season, lets grab some inflatable pool toys again and get crazy!)
  15. Thank you for putting this all together @BladeMaiden! You continue to go above and beyond the call of duty for your players Congrats to all those who were nominated. Whether we win or lose this team always remains positive and keeps the locker room rollin'
