  9. Released then signed. Bush playing the strong mental game.
  10. Just for FYI sake; VHLM players are rarely ever called up and are currently capped at spending 200 TPE. They can earn past 200 but the remainder will be banked until they join their VHL teams the following season. Next season the cap is actually being increased to 250. Great write up anyhow, you have been on the quik rise since joining the league only a week ago. Cheers!
  11. 3 forwards, 2 defense and 1 goalie
  12. 1) Golfing, Fishing & Kayaking 2) I feel like despite losing one of our top contributors we have a stronger outlook going forward. ACL Tear has nowhere to go but up and is a very strong contender for the coming seasons most improved player. We also acquired some defensive depth in Mitch Matthews. 3) I am hoping we will have an increase in line chemistry which is key in generating any success in the VHL. Out top line of Borwinn - Bailey - Wilinsky projects to be one of the leagues strongest in recent memory. 4) Becoming a stronger two-way player as opposed to an offensively focused skater. 5) Malmo acquiring Thompson and Boucher look to be a threat but their goal-tending remains a concern for at least one more season. Davos looks to be the stronger club on paper. 6) Close call between Calgary and Riga. I'll give the edge to Calgary; Brick Wahl is due for a finals appearance.

  17. Helsinki's Off-Season Well Underway During an off-season that saw Matt Thompson leave the Titans franchise; General Manager Matt Bailey scoured the league for a forward to fill the void. Bailey landed on the acquisition of ACL Tear. ACL was acquired for Helsinki's own first and fourth round picks for the season 68 draft. New York later used those picks to acquire Fredrik Elmebeck and Case Martell. Tear spent his first VHL season in a depth role focusing on the defensive aspects of the game. Tear threw around his 6' 8" 250 pound frame and amassed 217 hits and 168 penalty minutes. He managed a respectable -5 rating on the lowly New York Americans. Offensively he potted 7 goals and 12 assists. ACL Tear trained in the off-season to write a different path for his sophomore season. Tear has been working on his skating and shooting abilities in anticipation of becoming a reliable force on the wing. The Titans goal this season is simple; to make the finals for a fifth consecutive season and ultimately win the Continental Cup for a 2nd time in that span.
  18. @Big Mac Claiming for week ending Oct 27
  19. @Motzaburger thanks for running this again. Your efforts to encourage quality graphic work is certainly appreciated. I will not be participating in the playoff rounds.
  20. Haven't claimed any of these, I'll just bulk claim as one graphic since they are a tad old now that the season is over.
