Now that the dust has settled after the Titans exciting playoffs, focus shifted to retaining some of the talent they have acquired over the past few seasons, specifically S63 players as their rookie deals are entering their final year. This started by locking down their star goalie Pepper to a contract that will last his whole career. Adding to the list of players with a career commitment to Helsinki is Sidney Crosby, who also agreed to a 5-year deal. That was one key cog to the defense but there was another man to tie down. Jesse Wilson was the man and the GM signed him to a 2-year extension. The only man left was none other than Julian Borwinn. Quik locked him down with a 4-year extension. With 8 players over 450 TPE the Helsinki Titans look to be a team to be reckoned with and with all these long-term deals being dealt, they won’t be going away anytime soon.
