    The VHLE is and will remain a joke of a league until changes are made to protect the competitive integrity of the league, glad Barzy is bringing idea to the table/starting the conversation. You can't have competitive integrity in a league that's just treated as a farm system.

      We agree what the VHLM is for but players should be expected to stay in the VHLE for 3 seasons at most as is the case with the VHLM. The VHLE is and will never be a league that should be as competitive as the VHL.

      Players can spend as little time in the VHLE as they want, plenty skip the VHLE and that's fine. That's not the issue here, the issue here is that the VHLE isn't able to be competitive when the VHL teams take players who are going to end up doing 5 mins a night for them instead of playing premier roles for the VHLE team.

      and why should that not be allowed. Most players care much more about the VHL. I chose to play on the 3rd line in the VHL rather than play another season in the VHLE. The truth is most players don't care about the VHLE because the VHL is what actually matters towards career stats and people care more about what happens in the VHL.
