    GFX GRADERS

I always lock them if I give it a 6. I've seen someone unlock it before but that was a while ago, have you seen any recently?
  8. Minot, North Dakota - Success is often described as something that is very hard to measure, but in the case of Gladiator draftee Vogon Jeltz, it's clear to see he's thriving. Jeltz has rocketed past his peers in terms of goal scoring, netting 23 in just 10 games. While his scoring ability is currently unrivaled in the VHLM, his playmaking could use some work. His assist tally is at a hardly comparable 5, while teammate Jack Ryan sits at 29 for a total of 34 points. The keys to Jeltz's success are starting to reveal themselves. He benefits from his puckmoving backend, and capitalizes on an arguably below average goaltending crop. Only three of the VHLM's starters have save percentages above .900, and that includes Minot's other star, Hans Winsgate. Overall, Jeltz is expected to continue to exceed expectations this season, and there are currently no signs of him stopping.

  10. That's how you bounce back after a couple games without points!
  11. Balthazar showing why he deserves the 'A'
  12. That was quite the first period.
  13. I'm going to assume Veltz is a contraction of my first and last name, and not a mistake Lovin' this season so far (apart from the last two games). Who knows, maybe we'll make history.
  14. Effort: 2/2 - Yeah I can see enough was done here. Look: 2.25/3 - A couple things are holding this sig back from its potential. First, the main render needs to stand out a bit more. Typically this is done either with a filter called Topaz that you can try to find for yourself, or through manual editing with Adjustment Layers such as Curves, Brightness/Contrast and Gradient Maps, and soft black and white brushes on Soft Light. Next, the double render is a hard technique to pull off. Stock work is pretty nice, the colouring is done well. For some text inspiration you can check out this thread: http://www.vhlforum.com/index.php?/topic/2501-jacks-guide-to-making-not-shitty-sigs/ Creativity: 1/1 - For sure, keep up the good progress. Total: 5.25/6
  15. Effort: 2/2 - Nice attention to detail and clean design. Look: 3/3 - No complaints, nice banner. Good balance and nice typography. Creativity: 1/1 - Cool geometry. Total: 6/6 Final: 6/6
  16. Effort: 2/2 - Stock work, lighting, colouring, text, two versions. Great work. Look: 2.75/3 - Very good stock work. Text isn't bad, doesn't take away from the sig. Keep it up. Creativity: 1/1 - Keep trying new things! Total: 5.75/6
  17. Effort: 2/2 - Definitely enough done here. Look: 3/3 - Sick stock work, great text, nice flow. Creativity: 1/1 - Lovely piece. Total: 6/6 Final: 6/6
  18. Effort: 2/2 - Yeah I can see enough was done here. Look: 2.5/3 - The lens flare is quite off-putting, doesn't really add anything to the sig. The colouring is good. Lighting is a bit off, too grey overall, hard to make out detail. Creativity: 1/1 - Nice colour scheme. Total: 5.5/6
