  1. Reviewing jubo you always make nice graphics for the Titans. This is a graphic that really makes the player feel welcome to the team. Seeing your player cards is always enjoyable. They have a great look. Going to grade this a 10. Keep up the good work jubs.
  2. Forward Timothy Brown @Rhynex Entertainment
  3. Forward Valtteri Vaakanainen @Rhynex Entertainment
  4. Forward Christian Mingle @hedgehog337
  5. There was an unexpected retirement by the Helsinki Titans top defender Emi Rune. Rune's body was banged up from their playoff run and it seems she would not be able to continue her career in the VHL. It is a big hit to the team that now has only 3 defense. Those defenders are Mikeal Keef @RStar who was one of Jubo's last signings as GM, they also have returning youngsters Gustav Hjalmarsson @McLovin and fan fave Aurelien Moreau @Frank. While they would be ok to start the season with just the 3 D, the team needs to fill the spot if they hope to continue their playoff streak and be competitive yet again. If we look at the players left on free agency we will see a former Titan at the top of the list. Elsby @Spence King would be a grand addition. He really enjoyed his time here and the team likes him a lot so maybe he will come back if the Titans GM is making a bid. Next on the list is Gabriel Akerstrom who was also a titan back in season 75 and was drafted here. And funny to say the next player is also a Titans draft pick named Kate Upton. Helsinki has options and @Rayzor_7 has a couple days to settle the role.
  6. As we all know Jubo stepped down as the GM after his 9 seasons here. I was here for almost every season starting with Joey Boucher and now with my goalie Zamboni Driver. Jubo was professional, honest and most of all kind to every player that played here. We will miss him and his ability to put studded rosters together each season. It was hard not to buy into the hype of the locker room each season. Thank you Jubo. Another change is 2 players we lost this season. The first one was Bob Helminen to retirement and then Venus Thightrap as a cap trade. We came to learn the cap rule yesterday which would have allowed Blade to stay and not go to Seattle. Bad timing on the league to introduce a rule at this time of the offseason. More change came in the addition of new players Gary Rush and Michael Keef and also all our new prospects added after Jubo's final draft. Helsinki looks strong as usual and I hope to see that and the welcome atmosphere of Helsinki continue after Jubo's departure. Lets go Titans!
  7. 1- I relive the seasons best moments in my mind 2- I try to get vaakanainen to shoot some pucks on me. He is a sniper and I need to stay sharp to save on the leagues best. 3- only when playing in them 4- we tried and tried. That is all you can ask for. 5- I tried to pitch in and chirp players when they were neat the net. 6- this team always does well. We will see of that continues without jubo at the helm of it all. He always filled the teams needs and kept us a top team.
  8. 1- zamboni is a born performer no matter what 2- celebrating the highs and experiencing the lows together with the team 3- Dear is a great offensive player 4- it will go 7 games 5- no superstitions that are different from the season play 6- they can grow their confidence level or the games
  9. big goal scored by @Jbeezy76 Verla der sent us to the conference final
  10. The Helsinki Titans defeated the London United on the weekend by a series count of 4 games to 2. Helsinki took the lead early in the series by winning games 1 and 2. London came back to win game 3, Helsinki won game 4, London won game 5 then Helsinki closed the series in the 2nd overtime of game 6. The series winning goal was scored by Magnus Verlander assisted from James Rose and Emi Rune. Both goalies were very good in the game. Jacob Tonn saved 43 of 47 shots and Zamboni Driver stopped 39 of 42 shots. Helsinki has played two games of round 2 where they face the Warsaw Predators who were the conference leaders at the end of the season. Helsinki is looking great in the series as they won the first game 2-0 and lost a hard fought game 2 by a score of 5-4. There is a lot of excitement ahead for the Titans and Warsaw in round 2 to see who wins the conference title and heads to the final against Seattle or L.A. Seattle has a 2-0 series lead on L.A.
  11. The Helsinki Titans finished season 77 3rd place in the European conference and also 3rd place in the league overall. They had a record of 42-24-6 and will be playing against the London United who were 45-24-3. The United scored more goals, allowed less goals and have home ice advantage so most would think they are the favored team to take the series when it is all said and done. London offense was led by Julian Nousiainen who had 96 points. The Titans offense was led by Vaakanainen and Thightrap who both had 93 points. The goaltending battle is between 2 of the leagues best Zamboni Driver and Jordan Tonn. It will be fun to see how the series goes and what line matchups the 2 general managers will throw together to try and gain small edges. I am hopeful the Titans will fight hard and give London everything they can handle and more.
  12. This guy is a weapon in the playoffs that we will surely need against a great team in London. @PatrikLaine
  13. 1- I do not have a problem with it to an extent. I would not do it myself 2- Went for a walk outside. The spring weather is improving where I am. 3- Saving an endangered species. Any of them as they are all important to the planet. 4- I do enjoy being outside. I like to go camping and boat riding. 5- I have played hockey on an outdoor rink. 6- The tree would grow healthy and wild. I would plant an oak tree.
  14. Reviewing Enigmatic you are always great at making graphics that are vibrant and fun to look at. The helmet paint is very good and I urge you to do more goalie sigs if this is the skillset you have. This is one of my favourites I have seen here. I will rate 10/10.
  15. Reviewing Cool graphic you did here. The logo swap is good to see and I like the text chosen and the effect over the whole graphic that was added. Also cool to see a square graphic when most are the standard rectangular look. One comment I could add is it is a bit dark. 8/10.
  16. There are just 6 games to go on the schedule for the Helsinki Titans. They clinched a playoff spot a while ago and the only question that is remaining is who they will play in the first round of the playoffs. The guess now is London who are also a strong team with a lot of expectations. The series would have a lot of high powered offence and it may come down to a goalie performance stealing games here and there. Driver and Tonn are two of the leagues best and the series would not disappoint. There is still a chance Helisnki or London could overtake Warsaw who sits at 88 points with 7 games left on the season. Helsinki is at 84 and London is at 83 points. The race for fifth is very close between Malmo, Davos, Riga and Moscow all within three points and trying to make the play in round. It should be fun to watch.
  17. For the new defender picked up before the deadling. Welcome to the titans @MattyIce
  18. 1- carried the ancient skill of Zamboni driving in the alternate reality. 2- in many ways it did. Hockey is important to me. 3- no skate blades but the reality has hover skates 4- The story line. A supporting character. 5- a little smaller as I would not have to shop at the big and tall Stores. 6- the Star Lord known as Peter Quill.
  19. If Driver did not take up hockey and followed his namesake of being an actual Zamboni Driver. The Titans are glad he did because he looks to not be the best behind the wheel.
  20. According to Jubo the trade was in discussion for a little while. And on Saturday it was finalized. James Rose @MattyIce would be returning to the Helsinki Titans who had drafted him in season 72, along with a 3rd round pick in the season 79 draft. Riga received Yuuto Kira Cloudera and Helsinki's first round pick in the next draft. Cloudera was picked up in the off season in the deal where Spencer Elsby was sent to Chicago. The cap was tight in Helsinki and the team had to wait until the trade percentages lined up for the deal to happen. With this deal now complete the Titans have just 100 thousand dollars in cap space. I think they are effectively done from making any more upgrades. Rose improves the team where they reportedly needed it most. Riga made the decision to become a seller and got what they needed as well. Overall this was a great deal for both teams.
  21. 1- i was searching for this press conference 2- no food is safe once its hit the floor 3- i cant say that I have and dont have an example of a game to share 4- we will start with a goal of 24 hours and see of that can be done 5- back up dancer 6- i have walked into a goal post a few times
  22. This one is for a guy we miss on the ice for the Titans since he retired @Spaz
