  1. 1- my goal next season is to move up to the VHLE 2- I had a Selanne ducks jersey growing up 3- I dont think I have interest in running my own team 4- having fans is far and away a big boost for the team 5- hockey 6- a couple strips of bacon
  2. The Mexico City Kings will for sure be in the playoffs this season. They are 19 points ahead of San Diego for the fourth spot and without an unforeseen disaster will make the trip to play Yukon to start round 1. Yukon is a scary team to have to face. They have only lost 3 games out of 52 played this season. Mexico has been up and down but are ahead of .500 hockey by 1 game at the moment. The playoffs are a new season as most people will tell you but Mexico will need full buy in from everyone in the next week or so if they want to bulk up to take on the VHLM’s best. Forward and defensive depth have been filled recently but goaltending has been a questionmark and could be why they are below Vegas at this point of the season. Lots of hockey to play. Lets go Mexico City!
  3. Reviewing. I really like what you did here. The logo looks clean and maybe even too clean as the bright white sticks out. Cool player render choice and choice of text. I will say an 8.5/10 rating.
  4. 1- we need the bump in skill if we hope to stand a chance against Yukon. They seem to be unstoppable. 2- yes I will grow the best beard I can. 3- inspiring our goalie to keep improving. We have had goalie trouble all season. 4- on defence I get to play with all the lines so that is cool. 5- i made a graphic featuring my previous player Zamboni Diver. 6- travel to Europe
  5. After the fun is over in Mexico City this season - the VHL draft will be next up in the career of defenseman Wattson Power. He was recently asked in an interview where he would want to bring his talents to in his next professional league the VHLE. He was quick to answer and said the Vasteras Iron Eagles. He said since the first time he saw the logo he was drawn to it and wanted to be a representative for them on the ice. He also likes how the GM handled the Houston Bulls before he was promoted up to the VHLE. He believes there is a lot of development and experience that he can gain from a good hockey program. Vasteras has been pretty good this season but needs help keeping the puck out of the net which Power can definitely help with. Power then added that he would of course be happy to play anywhere but is not shy to share his fandom of the Iron Eagles.
  6. 1- my hand written theme song that convinces the GM to draft me. I am a fan of Vasteras and hope to play here next season. 2- dirty deeds by ACDC 3- playing in Mexico city has been fun but we are falling down the standings lately. Still be a fun time. 4- catdog. The best of both domesticated animals. 5- the dog half lol 6- extreme mini putting competition. It can get crazy.
  7. Reviewing. This one made me laugh. It looks like he is having a good time but also missed hockey too much to not wear his equipment. I hope he has more water bottles to drink as he is wearing all that in the sun. The logo swap is funny as well and adds to the charm. 7/10 grade.
  8. Reviewing. This looks cool and gritty. I like that you did the reflections in the glass. The colors in the graphic are nice and match the team colors. This is a 10/10 grade.
  9. 1- winning the close games and building a pedigree as a team that does not give up. 2- we needed a new goalie and we are happy to have Hank. 3- Add one or two more top 6 forwards. 4- trusting the team and the systems weve developed in practice. 5- how bad Helsinki has been the last 2 seasons since Jubo stepped away. I dont think their current GM is doing the team justice. Miss you @Jubo 6- none at the moment. Happy to be in Mexico City.
  10. The Mexico City Kings are well within the playoffs already and are fighting with Las Vegas and Houston for the 2nd to 4th seed in the conference. 2nd or 3rd is where they hope to finish and avoid playing the Yukon Rush who have lost only 1 regulation game this season in 23 games. Mexico added a new starting goalie and a 4th defender this week to help out the team depth. Wattson Power continues to play well in his first season. He now has 10 goals and 22 assists for 32 points in 23 games. He is a 21 +/- and has 51 hits and 28 blocked shots. Wattson is looking for another big week of personal development as he wants to become a player that is relied on and help Mexico even more with their season. Wattson is confident that Mexico is headed in the right direction to make some real noise the rest of the way.
  11. We are now 13 games into the 80th VHLM season. The Mexico City Kings are going good having won 8 games and have a large difference of 12 points between them and San Diego above the playoff line already. Mexico isnt a high scoring team but is one of the better defending teams. I think we may look to add players to the team depth. Wattson Power has been a good addition to the team this season. He is consistent on the defensive side and can also get into the scoring plays. He has scored 5 goals and 12 assists so sitting at 17 points after 13 games is strong for a defender. He has a 15 +/- as well so you know he is reliable to shut down the other team and get the puck moving back the other way. 31 hits and only 8 penalty minutes means he has been hitting smartly and effectively without getting his team in a bad position to kill a penalty. More to come as the season goes. Lets go Mexico City!
  12. Reviewing. This graphic is a fun one to look at. Expression on the players face is humorous and makes me want to root for the player. I am now going to cheer for Vasteras. Cool jersey work and background. 9/10 rating.
  13. 1- good stats for a defensemen. As an offensive D I hope to get more on the scoresheet this week. 2- add to the team depth. More bodies to bring more energy. 3- nor surprising. He is the best setup guy in the league. 4- prob Dookie Headtop 5- anything that I can add ice cream to 6- playing Warzone still but not for much longer with how bad the cheating is in the game.
  14. F - Phil The Rock Johnson @RomanesEuntDomus
  15. Wattson Power Junior Review Wattson Power started late into hockey. He was 11 when he got his first pair of skates just to head over and play with his friends on local ice rinks. The first time he held on to a hockey stick he was instantly in love with the sport of hockey. Not even a couple months later he was a late entry into local minor league where he played as a forward. He could not keep up to the speed of the game as his skating needed a lot of work so he moved to Defense. He has been Defense ever since then and does not regret at all the decision to switch. He had a good shot for his age so he would spend time on the powerplay. He could move the puck pretty well but when he did get in a bad spot he wasnt the best at catching up to the play. When he was 12 years old he was put into a skating program where he learned how to push from side to side and use his body to generate better speed and take corners. This was big for Power as he came back in the next year and was instantly a more effective young player. He started to put up more points and getting more ice time in tougher defensive situations. With this his confidence was building and his love for the game intensified. He started watching YouTube video of strong skating and strong defensive players and really gained a lot of knowledge that he took into his own game. There is a lot of drive in Power's game. He always wants to get better and be the guy that the team relies on in tough situations and in offensive situations. Power’s best season was at age 22 where he played 55 games and earned 89 points. This definitely put him on the map as a player to watch. He was named as a top 25 player to watch before the VHLM's 80th draft. Big words for a player that never ever gives up. At the age of 23 he has finally found his break in joining Mexico in the VHLM where he hopes to play very well and be noticed by VHLE and VHL teams alike. It is only a matter of time before he can display his skill set in the professional leagues. Remember the name Wattson Power.
  16. A new defenseman has entered the VHLM. His name is Wattson Power and he is from Canada. Power is hopeful for getting off to a fast start in his career in the VHLM. He was drafted 14th overall in the season 80 draft to the Mexico City Kings. Mexico has some good players and can make some noise this season. Wattson Power is predicting himself to be around a point per game player who will only get better each season. Before the season starts - Power has been working on his defensive ability, his scoring, puck handling and skating skills. He is on pace to be a reliable player to keep an eye on this season and in the VHL draft for season 81. We will soon see what Power can do on the ice for Mexico. The fans of the team should be excited to see what he can bring and how he positively effects the team. Lets go Mexico City!
  17. Skipping @Roman. Make your pick when you can. I will take F - Gunnar Odinsson @RomanesEuntDomus you are up
  18. Reviewing. Congratulations to moon for going 2nd overall to Houston. This graphic is simple but gets the point across. There was no attempt to change the jersey colors or add a logo swap. I think you are on the right path here though and will make better and better graphics as the weeks go by. 6/10
  19. 1. Going to be fun as the team builds to their vision. 2. Point per game pace and top 4 minutes. 3. focus on bringing in new creates 4. Zamboni Driver had a great retirement season. Going to be hard to match that with my new player. 5. not sure that I have one sadly. 6. road trips are more fun and save money for the trip.
