For the purpose of getting under the waiver claim cap (player is inactive). Fabio Lucera @VHLM GM Player can not be claimed due to inactivity and there are no inactive FA's. In a case where he returns, he'd be an active free agent. Each VHLM team is capped at 1 active FA. Thanks guys!

If they're still on your roster and/or playing, they count against your waiver claim cap despite active or inactive and will remain to until you remove them from your roster by releasing them.

Waiver Claim Limits: While roster restrictions are 18/2 (20 players maximum), a waiver claim restriction will be put in place. VHLM teams are only permitted to signing 8 waiver claim players. If all teams together average above 7 claims (all teams collectively together) the cap will increase by 1 for each team to 9. Once that is met on each team, it will continue the same way. This does not includes players who had been signed, but were cut due to inactivity. Example, 3 teams have 8, 2 teams have 7 and 1 has 6 - the average is 7.33 in which case every teams waiver claim total would be boosted to 9. The average would then bump to 8 and so forth. Las Vegas, to my knowledge, has signed 8 players with Sunderbruch becoming the 9th. As per the rule above and seeing as the limit hasn't been raise, Signing Declined. @VHLM GM @VHLM Commissioner

Last season, we enjoyed a hard fought, highly entertaining and successful tournament. We watched teams surprise us, rise and fall and players excel highly for their respective teams. We watched Canada nab the gold from the rest of their competition and this season we seek answers on whether or not they can defend their title. Who gets Gold? Silver? Bronze? Who ends up being the best player? Who will be MVP? Who scores the most? Best Goalie? ASIA TO WIN ALL? But mostly.. Who is HYYYYYPED?

Last season, the decision to revive and bring back the World Juniors within the VHL was a really strong, enjoyable success in my eyes that can only improve and become even more enjoyable. We watched a lot of members get excited, GM's and others really step up to the plate and got to come together as a group for an alternative source of sweet hockey on the VHL. This season, we're coming right back at you with some WJC action. When can you expect it? The season will more than likely start around the 36th to 40th regular season game in the VHLM. Same format, style and everything! Just NEW players! Rules and Such? World Junior Championship RULES! -> No changes. Everything, as of now, is the same as the previous tournament. Nationalities - Where will you play? Two last things. We appreciate all the help @BarzalGoat gave us last year as one of the Co-Commissioners. If you have an interest, @McWolf may be posting a job application soon to be his partner in crime. Also appreciative to @Beketov for simming games for us last season.
