I didn’t claim to not care? I’m not into the idea - if that’s what you’re saying. I don’t like it. It won’t be implemented - I can guarantee it. And we have spoke of ways ways to help the VHLM. Shit takes time. We can’t just implement the first idea we think of or stuff like this would be in place and we’d be the next league closing doors after 11 entire years. I think I can say I’ve helped a lot of new and old members prior to me being commissioner. You need to stop speaking so manipulative as it’s not working and bringing stuff into the argument that isn’t true for the sake of bringing people to your side. Ive also explained why the idea won’t work and @Reives also touched on somethings. As have others. The idea won’t work.

My point - coming from a first gen member who has become a solid, new member that contributes more than a lot of vets.

I think its very evident, based off my presence on the boards, role on the boards and discord stuff - so that’s heavily unfair to say when i can promise I’ve privately spoken to more first gens with help than yourself. I could also say I do a lot more for the VHL than you! How would giving new members 175 help at all? I just don’t see the picture you’re trying to paint.

Exactly. I think the hiring process would have to be different. Not “Yippee, someone applied. Let’s hire them”. If the sense the right ones didnt apply, don’t give the project wings to fly.

The idea may seem good and not knocking it, those are my two cents. I don’t think it’s a good idea.

1. TPE inflation. It would completely fuck the brackets - or largely help players get to higher ones faster which would make players more expensive. The end result, having to raise the cap which is no easy task. 2. As stated, would kill the VHLM. No competition. Here, everyone. Without any hard work, you earn maximum TPE for our minor league system. It would be a joke if a league. If you wish to see what players can do at 175 TPE, provide them with the necessities and knowledge of earning weekly, Season and career TPE to reach the plateau. As proven with our many new members who are already at, slightly below or much so above, it’s very possible. While a cake watch as such would be nice, Im sure most can collectively agree there would hold no benefit to the league. It’s free TPE and a higher starting rate just to try and keep TPE. If player 2 failed, this wouldn’t stand a chance and would do more harm than good.

Elaborate on this “piece of paper” and you may just be hired.

Any player in their first 3 seasons of creation. So basically, VHLMers and players in their rookie phase of contracts. Once prime, they’re disqualified for competing. How often? Every season or every 2nd season. I’d be more inclined to every season. Gives new members some interaction and excitement outside of the usual sim and VHLM etc. Why? often, you get picked over in the World Cup due to low TPE amounts.. it sucks as you want to be a part of it but end up having too watch because you’re on stacked rosters. That, or a shit team because of stacked rosters. This gives players the chance to chase gold and such! When? mid-point Of the season? When teams have played around 35-40 games. ALTERNATIVE: Could also do a North America VS Team World...

This is something we've been interested in reviving but will only do so if we find the right, consistent team. @ColeMrtz21 - what are your thoughts on being an editor? The head chief, MR.CEO of the Mag? Something you're interested and capable of doing? If so, fire myself a message while including @Will, @Beketov and @.sniffuM Though, what I'd be thinking is: 2 editors (1 full-time, 1 part-time/casual if so) 4-6 writers (again, 4 full-time and 2 back up - though, the back up can always write too). 2 graphic people. For each week, you the writers - for their articles, can claim 7 TPE. 6 TPE for a media spot, a 1 TPE weekly bonus for having a "mag job". Similar would be for the graphic boys, too. Editors, that would be in talks with Bek, Willy and such.

@Pauly51, this is where VHLM GM's will offer you a contract and you'll be allowed to choose which team you want to play for. The minimum they can offer you is 1 million, the maximum 2 million and you'll accept the contract by stating which teams offer you accept. There is no rush and you will be given time to look around and speak to the GM's and such if you wish! Sometimes, you get onto a team and sometimes you don't. Depends what nation you play for. Though, I do remember the excitement of being picked for my team, being able to win gold medals and all that fun jazz - so the fact you get picked over and such just because you're low TPE is a little silly. My thoughts.. Any player possibly in their 1st or 2nd year in the VHL and then ALL VHLM players can be chosen? This allows the littler ones to represent their countries too? Thoughts?
