I’d be willing to find a way. I was gonna let it for guys like Slipher who are so close. Best I think we could offer, is take whatever TPE off the build to bring your player to 350 if you want in. This is something I’d be open to for sure just to give these players their one chance to experience it as it won’t happen for another 5+ seasons etc. I’m willing to bend to make happy, but so do others ?

IMO, I'd stick with the 350 cap, if so. I'm a fan of either way. Earn your stripes, earn your way. It promotes effort and such. If you're shit and don't try, do you deserve a spot? Though, I would still say yes. If you log on, do some training, you're a key part to the site. Not everyone can be TPE whores. We need all members, not just some.

Based off Discord reactions, I'd say quite a few to OPTION 1. Same argument could go for the World Cup too. If they're a waste of time, why do them.

Could offer realism. Multiple lines. The younger guys have to earn their stripes and as long as they're active, would do so in following seasons.

A majority of the talk and decisions will be decided by the BoG - however, it would be nice to know what the general public thinks and feels as well. It may steer the minds of some - including myself, to different ideas and such. Please read carefully and if you have questions, ask and fully understand before voting. OPTION ONE Any player, who is in their rookie phase of their careers (basically their first 3 seasons since their draft) will be eligible for the World Juniors AS LONG AS THEY'RE BELOW 350 TPE. Any player above 350 TPE, despite being in their rookie phase, will not be eligible. Rosters have the potential of being smaller. 7-9 forwards, 4-6 d-men and 2 goalies. OPTION TWO ANY PLAYER within their first 3 seasons are allowed to play. This would mean, younger players who have smaller TPE amounts may find themselves on the 3rd line - while the big players who have higher TPE (350 to 500) would find themselves on the top lines. This offers realism, but expect your stats to go down. Rosters would be much bigger and would be something like 9-12 forwards, 4-6 D-men and 2 goalies.

I think over our time as commissioners, while short, we've really hit the ground running. We've caught and now have found a way to keep our heads above water while making things happen. Not only this, but we've cleaned up the VHLM rules, dropped some stuff out of there and made other improvements and such around the site too. A huge thanks to @Will on his continuous innovations for the portal. Creating player pages was annoying, so that's a very cool feature to have (especially with 100+ members joining lately). The newest idea to come rumbling from the Banana and Muffins Cafe is the WORLD JUNIORS. Apparently, this isn't the first time that happened and it's hilarious that I don't remember because apparently I won gold.. Just another time I trumped @DollarAndADream I guess.. hehe Well, good news. Always are we looking at ways to improving the site and your experience. Keep you busy, keep you happy and of course, keep it fun. The VHLM I feel, has improved so much lately and it goes so much hand in hand with a stable leadership group with @Beaviss @.sniffuM and the rest of the commissioner/recruitment teams. Cleaning up is huge, organizing and making the site better is also a plus for you guys. World Juniors will give you each the opportunity to chase gold, silver and bronze. To win a medal when maybe you're unable to make the World Cup teams right away. It adds an extra seasonal alternative and keeps the hearts full of anxiety as you chase the prize. I didn’t claim to not care? I’m not into the idea - if that’s what you’re saying. I don’t like it. It won’t be implemented - I can guarantee it. And we have spoke of ways ways to help the VHLM. Shit takes time. We can’t just implement the first idea we think of or stuff like this would be in place and we’d be the next league closing doors after 11 entire years. I think I can say I’ve helped a lot of new and old members prior to me being commissioner. You need to stop speaking so manipulative as it’s not working and bringing stuff into the argument that isn’t true for the sake of bringing people to your side. Ive also explained why the idea won’t work and @Reives also touched on somethings. As have others. The idea won’t work.

My point - coming from a first gen member who has become a solid, new member that contributes more than a lot of vets.

@.sniffuM why does everyone troll him? I don’t care care about the first gens because I don’t want to increase the free TPE from 30 to 175..? Man, you really pull shit out of your ass, hey? I think its very evident, based off my presence on the boards, role on the boards and discord stuff - so that’s heavily unfair to say when i can promise I’ve privately spoken to more first gens with help than yourself. I could also say I do a lot more for the VHL than you! How would giving new members 175 help at all? I just don’t see the picture you’re trying to paint.
