New levels of human intelligence were reached Lots has been happening, so it’s not gonna be hard to do some blabbing this week. My partner and I just got back from a four day vacation down from Albany in Southern Western Australia. Perfect weather. Perfect, gorgeous place and the people there and along the way might be best/friendliest etc yet. VHL, Bears out. Moscow out. Davos and Vancouver in. I mean, I don’t think it’s too surprising. I’ll forward really good team so any of them and I think it would be OK. With that little bit being said let’s just blab. While myself and Frank have a pretty strong rivalry, I definitely do tip my hat to the house strong the team is. It’s been a lot of fun looking back since the mid-60s and seeing Seattle, Vancouver, Moscow, and maybe another team or two kind of running the league. These teams have won lots of championships or they’ve made the finals a shit ton of times or they’ve done both. going off that some more, I am a big Eagles fan. To start the series off, 5 assists in the 2 games. Woo hoo! @Greg_Di Super excited for the off-season and drafts. Lots of chatter amongst GM’s with blocks popping up and talkings happening. Feels like it has potential to be a very fun off-season for all. FA also looking deep. Let’s have a good Gina’s and then take that energy and erupt into the off-season.. next season is 90… 10 away from 100… let’s start the fireworks and begin the countdown VHL??

Oh yeah, I just meant about how Seattle played. Haha. We could have played a lot better but overall had a very strong team that did very well. Cant complain and surely can’t argue about NYA’s results. Maybe NYA cup next! GM’s seem to love it in their first season and then never again hehe

VHL has been pumping it feels like lately so that’s a lot of fun. New round of playoffs started so we have good action everywhere. Then, in my personal life, we recently went to team Canada versus the Republic of Ireland for the women’s World Cup in Perth, and it was so much fun! It was my first ever football match and for a women’s match, it was so much fun. It rained on us pretty good for half of the first half, but other than that the fans were so much fun, and the game had a lot of good action. It was also very neat to be this far from home, attend our first every football match, it be a women’s World Cup game and you know, Christine Sinclair leads for most international goals and she’s getting up there in age (40, right?) Very cool to be part of. Ireland got up early 1-0 and the Irish fans went nuts. They put numbered us easily but there was still quite a few Canadian fans in attendance. After an own goal from the Irish to tie it up, the beast and one of our fave players LEON notched an energetic goal to make it 2-1. Wooooo! Outside of that excitement, let’s blab a small bit about the league and get to it. Riga already lost out to Davos. series there was 4-1. A little surprising but Davos has had a good team for some time now while Riga is still building I suppose. I think that’s the only series at the moment closed out. Every other series is 3-2. Rooting for Calgary to come back and Prague to finish off Moscow. Seattle found themselves down three games to one against the New York Americans. I noticed somethings going on with the lines that I unfortunately didn’t catch before. The reason that I didn’t catch them before was because they were working. We ended the season on an 11 game winning streak, and I think sometimes throughout those games I switch to the lines that we used at the start of this series. They seem to work in the regular season and even smackes Davos around 6-2 in the last game.. however, wasn’t working here. Made changes. Now 3-2.. tough to crawl back! My player in the playoffs for Houston has one goal, one assist and two points in five games played. This is Pretty shit and I’m not happy with this this play. Houston also lost out 4-1. Strongly disappointed with this. However, can I really complain? Seattle is in the same position, so how can you really blame the GM. Do you have a really good team that should win. Shit happens! IMG_3603.MOV About the Picture/Video: The weekend before we went down to the Scarborough night markets off the beach, got some food, watch the sunset, and went to light scapes. The weekend after it was super nice again. Not a single cloud in the sky, 20° and very beautiful for Australia winter. Figured what the hell, let’s go back to Scarborough. Figured I was hungry before we hit the beach, so my beautiful partner and I hit up one of our favourite places to eat here… GRILL’D… they have a huge promotion on right now for Barbie, where they have pink burgers, with their pink sauce and pink drinks. You know I had to do it, VHL! Perfect day, burgers, beach and good company… My iPhone 8 works just as good at taking photos as her 13 does

Congrats with Chicago and all the work with expansion! Always a good team.. even on seasons when I least expected. Our rivalry was CRAZY back in the 70’s and honestly a highlight of a heated, fierce, and enjoyable time for Seattle. No point dwelling on negatives like others. Sure, I wish you responded quicker but you still had a positive affect on many - so kudos on your work.

It was 18 July! That’s pretty crazy to think that the legs been around that long. You can’t help but think that it won’t be around for another 16 years but then those 16 years ago we’re probably thinking the same thing about it then. Happy birthday, VHL. Latest set of sims seen Seattle take two victories. Nice little wins to give us a nice safety cushion on first in the conference. Something like 90, 80 and 78 are Seattle, Vancouver and Calgary. We’d have to mess up pretty bad in order to lose first place in the conference. Flip on over to real life and things are heating up as I mentioned. We are going down to Albany at the end of July start of August and are super excited about that. It looks absolutely incredible down that way! We’re slowly starting to figure out when we’re going to go home as well and it’s looking like the process is going to begin somewhere around September 20 to maybe September 29. I think that’s the ballpark right now that we’re trying to circle down on but it may extend all the way to October 1st. Ideally, if I had it my way, it would be September 19 or 20th lol. I’m excited to go home! Plus, the process of it all is going to be really fun we’re going to fly to Greece, then head over to Albania, then Nice of South France, and then Paris. Right now we’re trying to figure out where we want to go in Greece but I think we figured things out for Albania. For Greece it’s your main three or Corfu. Does anyone here have any thoughts on this?? LEYS ALSO START BLABBING Seattle has a commanding lead on the North American conference as we head into the final six or so games for the rest of the VHL. Seattle with 90 points, Vancouver with 80 points and Calgary was 78 points. I think Seattle is going to take things for the top of the cake, but it’s going to be interesting to see who wins between Vancouver and Calgary. I think this matchup isn’t going to be super important which flops where because at the end of the day they still end up playing each other I do believe. Seattle has been putting the gas on recently with five wins in a row, but flopping over to the European conference, and we see a battle between Moscow and Davo’s. I think last time it was within one point and now we are at 97 to 95 points with Davos in the lead. Seattle was mentioned once again in this bullet point because I think they narrowed the gap from Seattle to Davos. I don’t think there’s too much significance here though. Seattle won’t be catching Davo’s for the victory cup and the true battle will be between Moscow and Davos who both have 67 games played. Third and final point, let’s talk about my player. Houston is currently leading their conference right now and have a one point lead with the few games to go. It’s gonna be interesting to see if they close it out. I had high hopes for them when I join them and then we add a lot of fire power to the team as well. I think it’s safe to say that even since my expectations have grown. I think with our record overall they’ve been met. For offensive stats, 34 goals, 41 assists, 75 points in 66 Games played is pretty damn sweet. It seems as though my players really picked it up the last little bit. They’re getting a ton of shots, average, just a little more than a hit a game, which is OK I guess and their face off performance as strong as well. I’m really happy with their performance as well as with Houston balls and my overall experience with the VHLM as a whole. I stay up late watching the markets back home. I think I’m doing shorter term investments just to make some extra spending cash for the trips back home. Also helps with me not working here! Then my partner is completing her contract for work, and will have to find a new job for the remainder of our time here. The weekend following this upcoming, we are planning to take a trip to either Margaret river, Albany or Esperance. Stay tuned for this decision I guess! It’s a work in progress! @dasboot any thoughts for us? THEN, we’re also kind of starting to talk about when we’re going to go home. I’m going to talk about this more in the bigger blab. For the VHL, 8 games to go as of reading this, and then it’s playoff time. Those playoff races are heating up so let’s take a look at things. Let’s blab! Moscow and Davo’s are fighting neck and neck in the euro conference and also for the victory cup. The next closest team I do believe is Seattle with 86 points and I don’t think they’re gonna be contending with Davos who off the top of my head once again have a 9493 points. Could be wrong, but I know I’m close. It’s gonna be a fun battle between two really strong teams. It might even be a pre-battle of what we’re going to see in the playoffs for the European side of things. Seattle is holding onto the conference over in North America but Vancouver has been heating up as the season goes on for quite some time now. They’re always a very good team and I think they’re going to go on a run. Heading into the playoffs. Also never count out the wranglers. I think these three teams will be fighting it out for the first place playoff spot. More so keep an eye on VAN/CGY swap?? For the teams that are fighting for the wildcard and playoff positions, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and DC are all there. Tough to say who does and doesn’t honestly. I think DC will dip back down. The rest? Who knows. For the Euro, I think things are mostly set, right? I think? Bigger blab coming soon! DEVEN!
