New week, new blab. Outside of the VHL? Life is getting fun. Roll at my last employer in Canada has opened up and I have spoken to my people my partner and they’ve all said to apply. I don’t know if they would hire me back but I’m really hoping so so we will see. We’re also planning the home trip and that’s very exciting. We plan to visit potentially Thailand, Greece, Albania, south, France, Paris, Toronto before ending back home. Pretty exciting! For the VHL, all things are good. All things are great. Seattle is cruising as we zoom passed the TDL. All players are doing good. Teams feeling good. Excited to see what happens in the final stretch. Also lots of recreates because it’s that magical time of year. With all that being said, let’s blab. Both my players are mediocre but I also think they’re playing their parts effectively on their respective teams. For Kovalchuk, what more can you do on a team that is on the outside looking in for this season and future seasons to come? For Targaryen, his build is also placed into C where wingers get that extra hit to improve elsewhere. For his position, he’s doing good. Especially for the Bulls. They’ve taken almost 800 more FO’s than the second most on the team and their FO% is light years better than the next.. Lots of recreates. That’s super exciting. I always really enjoy seeing really good members come back. I don’t think anyone’s too old to enjoy the VHL. Don’t put an edge on this Shit. Just be a member. Don’t be anything else. Enjoy hockey? Do it. Enjoy simulation hockey? Do it. Enjoy GM stuff? Do it. Good to see them back. I hope they all enjoy it and stick around to help us build to bigger and better. It can happen. Seattle has been cruising. Vancouver is slowly nipping on our heels. Seattle in Calgary went on a really weird losing streak. They were dominant for the first part of the season. Neck and neck battling it out for first place. Then all of a sudden both teams just went on a weird, random streak. It didn’t matter what I did for lines, we just kept losing. I thought it was really weird and then I looked over at Calgary and the same thing was happening. No changes to our lines at one point. Nothing. Didn’t make sense. Random. But, that’s what Simon likes to do. He always evens the playing fields. I do think Seattle sitting for us right now in the conference and that’s exciting. Hopefully we keep up the good play and can get a favourable match up in playoffs. Although, doesn’t matter too much. The break during the wildcard is SUPER refreshing and nice.. it’s like an off-season for some.. as when playoffs end, typically right after the off-season immediately begins. Never ending, closing in on 50.. Thank you.

This week the victory hockey league is giving us the keys to the pearly white gates. We have entire control of the victory hockey league for a full 24 hours. Anything can happen. Anything is possible! It’s a wild, Wild West out here and the members of our beautiful sim community have not disappointed so far. There’s been a few funny graphics and pieces of media and even some serious pieces which were well done. Excited to see the rest that comes out! For me? We’re doing the typical blab style. It makes things easy after all these season! DO NOT DELETE THE E! Instead, add new banking limits to each of the smaller level leagues so that the log jamming doesn’t happen as often. I think a lot of lower TPE level players that maybe are more prone to do welfare are left out on the action. Maybe it’s just a fast earning player who now is 450 contending against 1100 beasts.. why not not the extra options? New banking limits? I think while also keeping the minimum VHL rn which I think is 350..? • VHLM MAX APPLIED: 200 • VHLM MAX TPE BANK: 100 (when a player hits 300) • VHLE MAX APPLIED: 400 • VHLE MAX BANK: 200 (600 total). If I was commissioner. For a day I would secretly put the victory hockey league for sale on the Internet. I would hold out for as long as possible in those 24 hours. We’re back with another blab as the new week is officially upon us my VHL friends. Not a lot has happened since I last wrote a blab but a lot more has happened that I didn’t talk about in my last lab. My partner and myself finally went to a Perth Thunder ice hockey game. It’s basically Junior B and Senior Men’s League. It reminded me a lot about growing up in small towns, playing hockey and watching my dad play in his league. Same stands. Same kind of fans. Same shitty concession that makers those killer burger and chips. Mmm yeah! But their hot chocolate was shit. More like cold chocolate! Perth ended up losing. I can’t even remember who the hell they played but Perth sucked. Their jerseys are nicer though. NEXT UP? The women’s World Cup for football is coming to Perth Over to the VHL and we got ourselves a theme week!! That means trade deadline is right around the corner. I do think that there’s gonna be some moves coming up but I’m unsure what’s going to move at the moment. I know a lot of teams are close to the cap but I also know a lot of teams are trying to move pieces right now. This alone would make me expect a few moves. It’s going to be a lot of fun. With that being said, let’s do three blabs. I am 10/10 excited for the next draft. Is it one of the best draft classes ever? Is it one that potentially rivals the S67 draft? Dunno, but it’s shaping up to be a nice one. Funny though, it always feels like people are saying that and then the draft comes and it’s the same old hot pockets + the big drop offs out of the mid first round etc so we will see!! I think it’s something like 90 days until I could potentially be starting the trip home. I think I’m circling in on October 1 for when we start making our way home. Remember, we’re likely going to be doing Thailand, then, Grace, then Albania, then sell France, Paris, and then off to Toronto and then home. I hope you’re all doing good and that you enjoyed your weekend. This last week I didn’t get up to much. Just watching the markets back home as that’s what I’m doing here. We went to a mall this weekend to check it out and it was pretty nice. Went out for an early dinner too! We did a little bit of shopping! And then on Sunday we basically just went on a big walk lol. If we fly calling over like a dolphin to the league, we got a lot of exciting action. I think both conferences are starting to heat up and you can see shifts starting to move in the standings and playoff matchups starting to form. Is that being said, let’s do some blabbing baby. I almost didn’t have the drive to update my player today. Lol. This doesn’t mean that I’m not active. I’m crazy active. I’m on a lots wrote the day whether it’s the forum or Discord. Just really didn’t want to do a task today. Thankfully, it’s a new player and the excitement to be good as they’re so here I am. Speaking of that player, I think their season so far is a little underwhelming, but that’s OK. I never have high expectations in either of the two leagues below the VHL. It’s also my first time going through the VHLM with this new build system. I think a lot of players maybe do it this way? I have no idea lol I know my build is very basic though but it works. Also happy to be a center.. but will it be tougher having to put into FO with career lengths, new builds/scales and regression now? Hmmmm Seattle is doing good. Hey, they’re doing good. Every player at the moment is playing their part. We’re making tweaks here and there and I think Simon right now is in the process of rebalancing. Calgary also losing which is a bit off.. Im very excited for this season and the future for the Seattle Bears. LETS GO!!
