  1. "Whats on your mind?" @kirbithan's amazing work for TEAM ASIA HERE!

  2. While Asia has not gotten off to the start we'd hoped, the team has fought extremely hard given the WJC regime leaders @Zetterberg @samx harsh system against Team Asia. Despite this, we fight hard to remain one of the strongest hockey teams in the world and will always represent Asia proudly. As management for Asia, we are happy to lead and hope to give the players involved with Asia the best experience possible. With that being said, @kirbithan has done an incredible amount of work behind the scenes to make up some trading cards for Team Asia. I was doing some up in Paint myself, but let's just say I'm really glad to of gotten the PM from Kirbi letting me know they had already started ahead of when I thought they'd be. Kirbi exceeded expectations but that's why I reached out to them!! Thank you so much for coming and being part of Team Asia

@Eso we appreciate you coming into Seattle, and embracing us like you did. It was a lot of fun having you around when you were around. We got to send them in now, just made more sense for us to utilize TPE spent on the winter. @Webberj I privately messaged you, but excited to add you to the team in the locker room. Your build is exactly what we’re looking for and I think you’re gonna have a lot of fun on the team this season. Signing a contract and start some magic!

  7. Definitely is arbitrary. Trades made last off-season: Seattle - 9 Moscow - 2 Players added in FA: Seattle - 1 Moscow - ? Players added 6 SEA VS 3? MOS players off roster: 8 (5 trade, 1 FA, 2 retire) Vs 2?? (2 trade) Moscow Seattle added players like Pearce (trade), Bryzgalov (trade), Gregor (trade), Maloish (trade), Justice (trade), Weaver (FA), Moscow added: Wallob (trade), Nesbitt (trade) and Jason (trade), @Spartan who did ya add in FA? Lose in retirement and all of that? Other than Moscow improving their win total from season 88 to season 89, I don’t see what else puts them at an advantage over Seattle for that award? They made less moves, lost less players, faced less obstacles, added less player.. I definitely think it’s a lot more challenging to struggle jugglibg the roster and cap while making nine trades with all the players that Seattle had coming in and out as opposed to what Moscow did, and what they had going in and out. Seattle had something like 14 players moving on the roster compared to Moscow’s 5. Seattle lost 8, added 6.. lost Lamb (top winger) to free agency, nano (top dman) to retirement, and Xavier Booberry to retirement.. Who also happened to be the highest TPE earning player of all time in the history of the VHL. Im almost certain I’m missing someone that retired or left Moscow. Who were the 7 FA’s they signed? Seattle got Daniel Weaver in FA. Devils advocate a bit but damn, imagine making all those roster moves, tackling those retirements etc just to lose to a team that made 2 trades : but for the exact same result as you in both reg and playoffs Awesome, write up! Love this stuff.

  9. The Seattle Bears traded for Leandro Goncalves from the Calgary Wranglers during the off-season. Wranglebear! SEATTLE - The Seattle Bears get things done. Usually well before the off-season commences, the Seattle Bears manager Blake Campbell is often already working the phones, talking to agents, prospects and starting to figure out what they're going to do in the off-season. Often to others it can look like complete and utter chaos. In Seattle, more specific to Blake Campbell, they call it Spider Webbing. When you have one asset you're looking to move, or multiple, and you have a vision in place but have to bob, weave and spider web your way through thick and thin, active and semi-active, managers to complete your vision and team for the off-season. It happens a lot in Seattle and one way or another, some version of a their spider web shapes up. For Seattle this off-season, there's more than enough to go around and share! They've added massive pieces and one of their latest ones to be added to the Bears franchise is Wranglers forward, Leandro Goncalves. They've spent the last 6 seasons all with the Calgary Wranglers, scoring 217 goals, 248 assists and 465 points through 432 games with the mcdonalds ponies. "It was a little tricky getting Leandro to Seattle and it was mostly our fault. Knowing out situation, we could go three directions. Rebuild, Retool or Go for it all. I don't care to rebuild anymore. I feel like, if done right, there's better version or systems you can use that are similar that may speed things up. I guess it's just all about building your team the best you can and then having luck on your side too. Fortunately, things fell into place for us here, we were able to sacrifice an asset that Calgary was interested in. Initially, because we were waiting on other teams and pieces, our desire to move those picks were limited. Once things started to fall into place, that's when it all happened.. That expression is poor though.. because it made it seem as though it was a cake walk. It is chaos.. it is madness.. spider webbing.. it takes hours and hours of planning, back and forth often, tons of talks.. But yeah. We add an elite forward to an elite group. " Leandro Goncalves has been a welcomed member of the Seattle Bears Family and already proven to the team and fanbase why he was so loved in Calgary. We cannot wait to chase down one last cup with them. One final welcome @leandrofg
