1. If you got a Christmas present of getting an automatic upgrade of one of your VHL attributes to 99, which one would you want and why? Scoring to 99 would be a great automatic update for christmas. As a goal scorer I would benefit from that greatly and would be able to help my team win even more games! 2. We're almost in the final quarter of the regular season now, what are your thoughts on how the Aces have done as a whole this season? I'm very impressed with how the Aces have done this season, we have been in first place and if not in first then only a few points behind all season. Everyone is playing well and it's been fun. 3. What are your thoughts on your players performance this season? I'm kind of shocked tbh, I didn't think my player would do this well, but I'm over a point per game now and have nearly 30 goals which is pretty awesome. I've absolutely loved being on the Aces and my player has done great so it's very cool. 4. Name a player on the Aces who maybe doesn't get much attention on the forums but who you think does a lot of good work for the team, either in TPE earning or performance in the sim. my linemate this season CDS Leb has been doing great in the sim, as have a lot of other players, the whole team really 5. If you were to make a player in the VHL with a Christmas-themed name, what would you call them? Grinch Galvins 6. 1. Theme Week is upon us this week, which allows you to double a Media/GFX/Podcast if it fits the theme selected by the league i) If you're submitting answers for this before the theme is revealed - What theme would you like the league to use for theme week? I don't know if it's been announced yet or not, but something to do with the holiday season, winter and gift giving would be cool. 2. The Christmas Charity Auction Drive is live this week, which of these do you think is the most interesting items up for auction? Definitely the draft tracker tpe visualizer by mubblefubbles! Sounds awesome! 3. As for Vegas, we're currently tied on points for first place in our conference, which player do you think has been the MVP for the Aces this season? I think we have a lot of great players, but I'd have to say at this point Alex The Great is probably our MVP, he has been dominant since game 1. 4. Who would you say your favourite member or player outside of the Aces is and why? I don't know anyone outside of the Aces yet, so I can't say, but as of now BOTH my GM's are my favourite members! 5. What would you say is the best thing about being a member of the Las Vegas Aces? For me it's the help I've gotten from my general managers, being new to the league they are the reason I've been able to figure out what to do each week and also are the reason why my player is doing well and I'm on a great team. 6. They aren't doing this, but if the league were to offer you one of the Player Store items for free this Christmas, which one would you want? I'd probably say another doubles week!

Girts Galvins and the Las Vegas Aces have been playing some great hockey to start the season! After an undefeated start they now sit with a record of 20-7-3 good for 43 points and just 1 point back of Houston for the division lead. Vegas was 1st until a few days ago but Houston crept ahead, I'm sure Vegas will be back on top in no time though. Aces rookie Girts Galvins has been getting better every week and now has 16 goals, 12 assists for 28 points in 30 games. The rookie is currently 3rd on the team in goals and 9th overall in the league in goals. What a fantastic rookie season so far for Galvins as he's been a major find for the Aces. He doesn't look out of place around star players like Alex the Great (league leading 61 points) and Patrick Twist (45 points). Those guys have been a huge reason for the Aces success so far. Galvins linemates Cooper Skambraks and CDS Leb are having great seasons also with 36 and 30 points each, this trio on the 2nd line has been very potent for the Aces. Hockey experts predict the Aces will get hot again and storm ahead of Houston to take home 1st place in the division and possibly the league. Galvins with continued improvement could finish the season at or over a point per game which would be awesome.

1. Another week ending with the Aces on top of the conference, do you think we can remain there until the end of the season? I definitely think we can, we've shown in the early season we can beat anyone and are a highly talented team, no reason why we can't keep this up. 2. Our nearest rivals Houston made a big trade this week, bringing in Juha Jarvinen to provide an upgrade at the goalie position. How do you think they will fare after that trade? Jarvinen is a good player so they will probably be improved but goalie is just one player, I don't think it will make a gigantic difference. 3. We've had a number of very good wins this season, which was your favourite of them? My favorite is probably my first 2 goal game, that was exciting for me personally and a strong win for the team also. 4. The next step after the VHLM for your player is the VHLE. If you have a VHLE team already, are you looking forward to the promotion to the VHLE? If you don't, what VHLE teams would you be most interested in joining? I have no idea how the VHLE works, so at this point I'd be interested in joining all teams, but I'd like to stay with the Aces for another season if that's allowed. 5. Which attribute would you say is the first one you want to max out and why? for me definitely scoring will be maxed out because im a goal scorer 6. We'll play our first game against the pre-season favorites Ottawa Lynx in the next few days, how do you think we'll get on in that game? I think we will win because we are the Las Vegas Aces and we are awesome.

Girts Galvins and the Las Vegas Aces have both had a great starts to the season. The Aces are 10-1-1 in their first 12 games and currently are 1st in the VHLM standings. Excellent coaching and production from all players are the reason for their early success. I expect the Aces to continue to play well over the course of the season and finish at the top of the standings. Girts Galvins, the Latvian rookie sensation has had a great start to his VHLM career with 7 goals and 5 assists through his first 12 games. A point per game for a rookie is outstanding and Galvins is looking like a star in the making. His 7 goals rank tied for 7th most in the entire league. Galvins has been a great player so far and a big help to the Aces success this season. Scouts have him moving up the rankings quickly for the VHL draft but he is focused on the VHLM right now and being as good as he can for the Las Vegas Aces, his now hometown team.

1. Las Vegas is 1st in the Western Conference! What has been a reason to our success? I think it's a combination of things, great coaching, supportive management along with hard working players who improve every week. Plus we have some high end talent which doesn't hurt. 2. Is our success temporary or will we be a competitive team all season? From what I've seen our success is here to stay, we should continue to win majority of our games all season, probably around 75% when it's all said and done. 3. Who has been the MVP of our team so far? Alex The Great has been incredible for us so far, while we have many talented players he's standing out. 4. How has your player been performing? Real good, Galvins is about a point per game and is scoring at a good rate. I've really enjoyed my performance as well as the teams! 5. How has your time in the VHLM been so far? Great! I've been enjoying being on the Aces and the team has been playing incredible! 6. Is their any way that myself or AGM @MubbleFubbles can make your VHLM experience better? You guys have both been great, very supportive and available to help me out whenever I've needed it, thanks so much.

Are you modeling your player after anyone? Not really, maybe Anze Kopitar 4. How are you feeling after making an account and a player? Pretty good been having fun with it 5. What is your favorite NHL team? LA Kings 6. Is this your first time in a sim league? I joined VHL a ways back but didn't stick around, here to stay this time!

42nd overall pick Girts Galvins had a great debut for the Las Vegas Aces! He led the team with 7 shots on net and recorded his first ever point in the VHLM! The milestone point came on the powerplay in the 2nd period when Galvins set up CDS Leb with a great pass. The goal put the Aces up 4-2 and that's how the game finished. Galvins came away with 1 assist, team leading 7 shots on net while playing 18:21 at even strength, 1:41 on the powerplay and 27 seconds on the penalty kill. He even won 2 of 2 face offs! Great debut for Girts Galvins and the Aces also won their 2nd game of the season 3-1 against Mexico City! Galvins played well again with a couple shots on net in 15 minutes and a team high 2:21 on the powerplay. Galvins is looking good to start the season and should hopefully score his first goal soon!

1. With the VHLM Draft concluding, what are your thoughts on the players Las Vegas drafted? I was very excited to be drafted by Vegas, was in contact with one of their gm's before the draft and he was very helpful in getting me started with tasks etc. I think we had a good draft, Ben Svenska, MDX, Star, T Clark all look to be solid players. 2. With Riga Reign getting re-branded recently, what are your thoughts on the current Aces Logo? I like the logo a lot, it makes sense for a Vegas team and I think the colors are great! Can't wait to wear the jersey! 3. If your player was to have a graphic, which NHL player(s) would be the one(s) you would want to see used for your player? I've been using Guntis Galvins from the Latvian national team, but NHL I would probably choose Zemgus Girgensons. 4. It's been quite a while since Las Vegas last won the Founders Cup, have you ever had any lengthy sporting or sim league winless streaks where luck just wasn't on your side? I was on a couple real bad sports teams as a kid, but I think it built character, you have to learn how to lose so when you win you appreciate it even more. 5. In your opinion, what is the best song that is played at hockey games? Always a fan of any rage against the machine songs between face offs or tv time outs. 6. What would you consider to be your favorite hockey video game of all time? I'd probably say the retro version of NHL 94, originally for sega genesis.
