Rookie of the Year Race So far the rookie of the year race is is coming down to two players. The top two candidates are Kai Roberts of the HC Davos Dynamo and Pietro Maximoff of the Riga Reign. These are both different players as one plays center and the other is a left wing. Both of these young guys have played in all 49 games this year and have piled up some good stats on their resumes already. When it comes down to rookie of the year race though, what do you look for? Is it who has more points? Do you look for more hits? Is it who plays more? Would you say that it's who is more detrimental to their teams success? Quite frankly if you said any of these, you were right. The right answer is all of these. When looking at rookie of the year, you literally have to look at every single statistic for both players. I am going to go into a little detail about each of the statistics and who leads the category. Goals: Kai Roberts has 16 goals while Pietro Maximoff has 14. That isn't really much difference as Kai only has two more than Pietro. These numbers are close and it seems like they aren't really going to be separating anytime soon. Assists: Pietro has 28 and Kai has 27. Again close in numbers but the edge is given to Pietro as he has more of these. Points (total): Kai has 43 and Pietro has 43. Kai has one more in terms of points. Would you take the one who has more goals or who has more assists in this scenario? +/-: Kai has a -2 and Pietro has a -8. This favors Kai by a better number here. It seems like he has been hovering closer to 0 more than Pietro has been all season. PIM: Kai has 19 and Pietro has 2. This can be looked at either way. When looking at a two way forward, this favors Kai. If you are looking at who is on the ice more, this favors Pietro. Should a center be worried about high PIM's though? Hits: 46 is the number for Kai while Pietro has 23. Again when talking two way forwards, Kai wins here. Pietro doesn't. Is Kai trying to be a two way forward from the center spot or is he setting himself up for something else? HTT: Kai has taken 99 hits while Pietro has 76. It seems like Pietro has been trying to avoid hits altogether and this would classify him as the better skater in my opinion. Shots: 329 for Kai and 309 for Pietro. It seems like Kai has been shooting more for his team. Not sure how you would tie this number in but I would guess it would go with the shot percentage which is coming soon. Shot %: 4.86% Kai and 4.53% for Pietro. Kai has the better numbers when talking shooting percentage. Of course that could be attributed to his 20 more shots taken, but will that up his numbers in percentage by .33% that much? Shots Blocked: Kai 36, Pietro 21. Is this even a thing really for ROY race for forwards? MPG: Minutes per game for Kai is 27.39 and Pietro is 28.56. Kai has been putting up a little bit better numbers in less time. Will this help out his case? Right now I believe that Kai is slightly edging out the ROY competition but Pietro is closing in fast and could surpass him in no time. Right now it could be a toss up as this will go down to a vote and hopefully the ties to Kai's player agent doesn't hinder this vote. I wish Pietro Maximoff the best of luck in the rest of the season and look forward to award night. Honorable mention: Bogdan Podarok and his 32 points.

Yeah it's kind of hard to tell without knowing prices. EDIT: Seguin would be perfect for his price.
-
Seguin, Malkin, Toews or Getzlaf
-
Ok so Benn, Crosby (doubt you want him though lol), Pavelski or Blake Wheeler then
-
It depends on if you want to go forward or not. As a homer I'd pick Letang. EDIT: But taking Burns might be better.

VHLSC: S50 Rankings #3 - Where You From?
Da Trifecta replied to Kendrick's topic in VHCS Draft Rankings
Always nice to have 2 active rounds -
Nonsense? You talk about winning a cup as GM and the award. I can't do that without GM. Watch one day though.

Wow 1 small ban and it's the end of the world. I have never retired for silly reasons either. Every single retirement had a reason behind it. Also as for the latter 2 parts, you can say those all you want but means nothing unless it's on a level playing field.
-
Well FU Dollar
-
Also if a few times of me posting are you still talking sets him off, then hahahaha
-
They gave you quite a few chances haha

The ban situation is because Draper can't handle things that easily it seems when talking about things. The other leagues, how many of them actually lasted? The SBA was just there for me to test out builds, the SHL I rarely go on there but I let players sit around for a few seasons usually before retiring. That's about the only ones left standing. As for the getting shipped off, screw eagles for doing that as he panicked. Oh well guess he'd rather someone who doesn't get the 9 per week and instead may get 6 per week. Like I said, most people get rid of goalie. There are those who actually like it and just stick it out. I wished I did stick it out with Niklaus to be honest. Could have been my first hall of fame player and been over 1,000 TPE. I know that I screwed that over and this player is to make up for it. As for Fenzing, I wasn't even that into VHL then. I was more into Shaka's newest fad and I just joined over here to see what it was about. I knew 0 about hockey and got by on sigs making me 3-4 TPE per week maybe.

Claimed:Teams I am Rooting for This Season [Reviewed]
Da Trifecta replied to eaglesfan036's topic in Archived Career Tasks
It wouldn't be Davos that's for sure. -
1 fucking player retired early. My other two had at least 6 seasons minimum. You guys make it like it's a bad thing to retire in 6 seasons instead of 8. I mean 6 season careers are great as well. You can accomplish a lot in 6 seasons plus not all GM's last at least 6. Some have lasted less time than that. Davey Jones was about 6-7 seasons, Mikaelson was 5-6 and Diamond was the ONLY one cut short. My goalie was a means to an end. It was interesting early then it gets boring. Lots of people who make goalies will say the same thing. I am certain you know that first hand as well. This player is going all 8 whether he plays on a team or not. So for the "retire so often" remark, come up with something new as your argument instead of invalid shit. As for going "off the rails", that happened once. I was banned and have moved on from that. So not sure where this "time to time" comment comes either. You should really pick smarter more truthful words when arguing.

I know for one Brovy had experience in the VHLM and idk who this red dude is. Idk about Boubabi either as I didn't pay attention to him for the career of my first player. Also where did I say I didn't know where I would fit the mold?
-
You aint caused problems like I did and get banned lol
-
Oh my bad, I don't fit into "what they are looking for". Oh well if they don't want to hire me, their loss.
-
Experience is everything. You aren't going to throw someone in there who has no clue what they are doing. That only make it look bad on the person who put them in position and looks bad for the franchise.
-
LMAO sure they wouldn't. They have let people with less experience GM.
