    I wouldn't say the Wolves really need anything at this point. We noted their need for defensemen earlier and the fact that they didn't need much forwards, considering they have an elite offensive group already. They are probably not in the market for a quick fix in front of the net either, but adding a solid prospect isn't a stupid idea. While they still Tristan Iseult for a couple of years, he is entering the regressing part of his career, which makes him the oldest starter in the league right now. Adding Justin Cole now means leaving him in the VHLM this season and having me as a backup to Iseult for two years after that. He'd enter Season 68 as a solid replacement for a retiring Iseult. Probably not the career plan he had, but considering the other teams' need (or lack of) for goaltenders, there might not be a better option for him right now.

     

    Italticized what I assume to be a mistake? When you said me, I assume you mean Cole and not yourself, right?

     

    As for "not the career plan had," I expect to spend some time not playing in the VHL, that's just the state of goalies right now. Since I'd have to wait pretty much wherever I went anyway, A place with a soon to be retired guy would be a great landing spot.

    1) The VHLM draft is over! Are you happy with where you ended up? If you're graduating from the VHLM this season, how do you think your previous team did?

    I'll be honest.... I really, really wanted to be part of an inaugural team. So yeah, I'm a bit disappointed on that front. Doesn't matter, though. I'm still going to be fighting for a cup either way.

     

    2) If you were VHLM drafted or signed, are you happy with where you ended up? If you're going to be VHL drafted, where do you hope to end up?

    I- is this different from the first question in some way? Well, I'm happy to be in Yukon. We're definitely going to go hard for the cup.

     

    3) Now that we're done playing hockey for a little while, what is your player going to do to enjoy the offseason?

    Study up on hockey strategy. Justin came late to hockey and is keenly aware of the catching up he has to do.

     

    4) The Las Vegas Aces took the Founder's Cup this year, is there any message you'd like to pass along to the team (or your teammates, if you won)?

    Well done mates. Good luck going forward.

     

    5) What's your #1 goal to hit this offseason, before heading into your next one?

    A goal during the offseason? Not really. I didn't look at the offseason schedule but I'd like to get close to the cap for the VHLM before the season starts.

     

    6) What, or who, has been the most helpful resource in getting you familiar with the site/the league in general?

    Peace has been a great GM and I want to give him credit for it, but Blade Maiden definitely took me under her wing and I really appreciate it.

    1) Finally, playoff time is here! Make your claim right here, who's going to take it all?

    The Aces... Boring answer, but I don't have much doubt, really.

     

    2) If you made it to the playoffs, what are you going to need to do in order to take home the cup? If you missed the playoffs, what are you going to do to come back stronger for next time?

    I made it, but lost aleady. So... don't let in 11 goals in 2 games. (What the hell, sim?)

     

    3) If you could, would you stay another year in the VHLM? Why or why not?

    I mean, I can. And I probably will. Because I'm a goalie and I don't think any VHL teams want me yet.

     

    4) The playoffs are where stars are born. Which player do you think will rise up to the task and pave the way for their team?

    Curtis Gary. (Still pulling for my old teammate.)

     

    5) Are you or your team following any playoff superstitions this season?

    We were not... maybe we should change that next year. Hmmm...

     

    6) The Achievement Tracker notice went live not too long ago, and claims will be open until the playoffs end. Are you happy with how much TPE your player will be awarded?

    Happy, yeah. Confused though... I hit the cap for really easily. Not complaining. Points are great. Just... the achievements really favor goalies huh?

    In my defense, I faced 2,308 shots this year. The only VHLM goalie who came close to that was Yukon's Pekka Pouta who faced 149 fewer shots in three more games. And the next closest was 500 shots less. Eventually, that catches up with you.

     

    I'm disappointed to lose in the wildcard, but I think I had a strong performance all year long.
