Chan is currently the sitting at the bottom of the league in points with seven on the season. A once promising player fizzled away into the dark abyss known as inactivity. In the beginning, there was no stopping Chan. With two highly productive seasons in the VHLM, including playoffs where he found himself averaging more than a point per game. Looking to be a premier offensive defenseman in the VHL, he tore it up in his rookie season with forty-six points and finishing with a twenty-seven rating. With all of the hype surrounding his player, and the nearly guaranteed potential to be an impact player for seasons to come. After averaging thirty or more points over the next three seasons, he's seemingly disappeared from the stats sheet. Unfortunately, I don't think many of us will ever know, and one day he will retire and most of us might forget about him. But we can always look back to see what @HughJas_ was when he was a contributing member of this community. Thinking about the memories and moments you might have shared with him.

1. Why and when did you join the VHL? I joined the VHL sometime last summer because I like hockey and ShawnGlade invited me. 2. How do you plan on earning TPE this season? Mostly through graphics. I'm not great, but I like to think of it as a little hobby. Sadly I've been very busy recently. 3. What do you like and/or dislike in a team discord locker room? I like when people are real with me. If I'm not doing my job then I want them to tell me how it is. Not a fan of the ultra friendly locker rooms. 4. What strengths do you bring to the Marauders? None, as my player is on the Seattle Bears. But perhaps my future player might bring a championship to the Marauders... 5. What's the sports-related achievement you are most proud of? I've won a few championships in baseball and football throughout my childhood that I'm proud of. 6. What are you doing to bring you happiness during the pandemic? Playing hockey as often as I can. It was a long wait and I'm ready to get back on the grind again.

1. What do you think about the choice of Captains this season? I'm fine with our captains, although kinda weird to find myself as an assistant captain. Especially considering I'm one of the newer guys in the LR and not as active as I should be, but hopefully it's for the best. 2. Who will be our point leader at the end of the year? Tough to say. Stark, Greene and LeGrande are top notch forwards for us, but who knows maybe a defenseman such as Sundqvist or Hogan will lead the charge. 3. Who would you put on the first line? I think I'd just just stick with our S67 guys. So, Stark, Greene and LeGrande. 4. Who is our best Forward? Stark has been great since switching to forward, but Greene wasn't far behind him last season, and currently LeGrande is the leading scorer for our forwards this season. Too close to tell. 5. Who is the best on D? Again, it's hard to pick a favorite, but right now Sundqvist is playing unreal and I'm hopeful that Hogan and I will be able to step up to his level of play. 6. Who would you trade away from the team and to where? Hopefully nobody, but I hope they'd go to a good EU team so we would only really need to worry about them in the final if and when it comes to that.

To say the least, Omdahl's sophomore season was not as good as he had expected. He appeared to be fairly consistent in his own end, but there wasn't much to talk about in the offensive end. Well, that was until the second round of the playoffs started. With a breakout two goal game to start the series, he didn't even think about looking back. Surely this is a sign of what is to come over the next several seasons, as Omdahl is still only in the final season of his entry level contract. This also adds to the ongoing trend that Seattle is built for the playoffs. Although I wouldn't doubt that Omdahl has a surge in production this upcoming season despite playing a very similar role. If I were to guess, he'll have around a fifty to sixty point season with at least ten goals. Not too long from now, he should be one of the premier defensemen in the VHL.

1. Who do you think is going to get drafted 1st overall in the VHLM and you do you think is going to go first overall in the VHL? I'd have to say Walker or Frostbeard for VHLM and SS Hornet was already taken first in the VHL draft. 2. What's the best part of the season for you? It was clearly the playoffs. As I put up 16 points in 17 games as a defenseman. Far better than my regular season scoring pace. 3. Do you have any summer/off-season sports you play to stay in shape? Just hockey. Keeping it simple. 4. How do you think the Kings will do next season? Hopefully better than the last season. 5. If each player got an individual goal song what would yours be? Not sure I have one in particular. Probably one with heavy bass. 6. If/when you win a cup, how will you celebrate? Luckily I won the cup with the Bears this season and I celebrated by bringing it home to my family and having a party with all of my aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

I'm not surprised, honestly. I didn't pick too well.
