In a big win for the VHL, former NHL Network Analyst Mike Milbury has signed a contract with the VHL Network. After being arrested for assaulted a 12-Year-Old at a Youth Hockey Game, Milbury was cut from the ranks of the NHL Network and has since been looking for employment elsewhere. After months without receiving any calls the VHL Network finally stepped up and hired the free swinging hockey expert. Though the VHL Network has pulled in some great numbers in its first year or so of airing, it has not had any big name experts consistently show up on the show, and was mainly headed by the up-and-coming "Pajodcast" as its big name show. Pulling in Milbury will bring a familiarity for NHL fans to transition into the VHL. Rumors state that he will be hosting the new weekly series "VHL This Week" that will air on Sundays on the VHL Network.

It seems that Saskatoon Wild defenseman Gunzerker Salvador has been playing hurt the past few days. He decided not to rest after having four wisdom teeth pulled Friday morning, while the team had a game that night. Reports state that he was hopped up on Oxycodone during the game and was in a general haze, despite scring two goals and netting an assist. His oral surgeon, Dr. G. Funt, reported that Salvador was unruly after coming out of anesthesia. He insisted that he was able to drive himself to the game, and gave the finger to many patients and staff in the office. No legal claims have been made at this point in time. Salvador has been slipping down the draft rankings the past few weeks, as he has seemed distracted, and not as active in practice. His numbers have not shown the drop in activity though and he has helped the Wild to a 1st place seed so far this season.

I'd love to do a weekly recap. I've said since I joined that more ways for new memers to feel integrated into the league would be a great way to input more activity than we already have. This would be a great way for me to help with the ideas that I would like to see implanted. I am very on point and have access to the forums 24/7 when needed.
