Wasn't really meant to be a big article, never expectes much. More bringing light to why I will be for the most part inactive. (This is based on real life). I didn't want to just post a topic, and depress everyone

(Disclaimer based on real life action) On the ice Komarov has carved out a great career as a tough as nails shut down defensemen. Just this past season Komarov broke career highs in hits, SB and came close to his best point total. He looks like he could go down as one of the best Davos defenders ever. That being said things have not been as smooth sailing for the defender off the ice. His first disappearence, was nothing but happy news. His fiancee gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. His life was set, things looked up, his career took off since then. With Davos officially eliminated from the playoffs once again. Komarov himself took time out of his day to address a rumor around him. Tears rolled down his eyes, he announced his fiancee had been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Which has left his fiancee fighting for her life. The news broke to a shocked crowd. The defender saw many eyes in the crowd tear up aswell. Not to mention outstanding fan support. It has not been easy on Komarov between work, a child, and taking care of his wife his time was all taken up. Every free second he got to train he would, but it was not what he prided himself on. Komarov wife told him, that she wants him to keep playing. It was his passion after all, but it has certainly taken its toll on the Davos defender. Many question if he will ever play next season. He states he plans on trying for a cup one last time before he steps away; however that could change depending on his wife's health

I feel my SB have also dropped more solely because I've tried to round my game out more (see this season where I've just exploded offensively already beating last two years almost combined). If I stuck with building the way I wanted too 100% id likely be much high SB. However we lacked offense so I helped step up best I can without sacrificing the way I want to play. And if people didn't expect PIMS from me they haven't read my username or done any research on me lol my goals to be a brusing defender like Edwin basically

Were not good now? Lol we were leading the league for awhile and I'm only improving. So is the rest of the team around us. The D is actually our strong point(me Richardson, Rubin, Zadorov). Yes great points is great im 30 points behind him as a defender with 10x the hits and well can't compare SB cuz of course I've got more as a d. They didn't pick wrong with me, I can't speak for Rubin. Not to mention points inflate in good teams with chemistry. He hasn't played for a single bad team his whole career(and I doubt he ever will). So unless he can put up those kinds of points on a bad team I'm not fazed. I've improved my numbers every year since entering the league despite not being a huge TPE whore. And now sit among a class of very few in the league(aka top in points, hits, shots blocked, and PIMs for my position). Hes obviously and elite point getter no denying that, however I've slowly bloosomed into an elite two way defender. And will only progress more as the years go on, see as I've now had more time to spend on my player. My point is Davos most certainly does not regret picking me and I don't know many teams who wouldn't want to have my player. I'm not bashing his accomplishments I'm just defending my teams choice in myself and back it up.

Komarov has broken just 50 games into the year his best offensive output ever. Match that with a very respectable number of hits, and shots blocked now makes Komarov a guy to watch for when you play Davos. It is no shock people know when hes on the ice, because if you don't chances are you end up on your back. This time however people aren't just noticing him for his bone crushing hits. He currenting sits 4th in D scoring, 1st in goals by a defender, top 10 in shots blocked, top 5 hits as a defender, and top 8 for PIMS. The real question becomes is this enough to make him noticed more around the league?. Has Komarov now become a player people want, a guy that teams fear. If he can continue this kind of growth Davos is more than happy, slowing grooming himself into a top tier defender. Lots of questions arose early in his career if he could ever amount to anything, after he seemed to just stop working. He cane back strong; however and is now on the track they hoped when Davos picked him so high in season 40 draft. The biggest thing about Komarov, unlike fellow draftee Judy one dimensional 3 moons is he plays a complete game. Which is something most teams covet in this league. One day we may see Komarov name in the HOF or at least his number hanging from Davos rafters.

Career tho by the end of my career I wouldn't be shocked to break single season records

As it stands I'm on pace for 2nd in hits 1st in SB, and 1st in PIMs. Scoring wise i ll never touch

A guy who've I've helped shut out a hundred times over? A one dimensional scorer which every team has ?

Got my scoring up to 70 now I'm leading defense in goals lol I think I'm an underdog for Defender of the year with a great hits, SB, PIMs, Point ratio. I still expect Wylde to win it however or to not win

Not really lol I'm top 10 Defender scoring, top 10 D hits, and top 15 for SB. Ya my TPE count isn't great but im on pace to break Davos records and that's one of the oldest franchises in the VHL But thanks for coming out Gorlab
