1. How close do you follow the Vancouver Wolves off season? I followed them quite closely. I even made some trades on their behalf. 2. Day of trades and too many forgotten; Can you recall all the different trades that General Manager @Frank made this off season trying to improve the roster? Hint: There was a total of ten trades. I made the trades and I'm going to have a hard time recalling. First was Cheese to Warsaw. Then we acquired Bob V from Davos and then traded him to Malmo, that's three. Then we trade Lamb's rights to D.C. We acquired Agito from Toronto. Then we traded Leduc to NY which made 6 trades. I'm tired and am not getting paid enough for this, I give up. 3. Alex Leduc @Lemorse7 was trade to the New York Americans in a difficult trade that seen Hasbulla Magomedov @Motzaburger, S87 NYA 1st and S89 NYA 2nd along with S88 1st and S88 CHI 3rd. Was this a big enough of a return for a player of his caliber? Why? No ideally we would have gotten four 1sts but unfortunately this is not NHL23. Still sad we had to move @Lemorse7 but the cap just won't be there going forward and some times hard decision need to be made for the future of the team. 4. Shortly after trading away Alex Leduc @Lemorse7 the team quickly replaced him with a free agent signing in (S81) Nezuko @Baozi. Does this mean that (S81) Nezuko will always be compared to Alex Leduc @Lemorse7 in the terms of leadership and production? Why or Why not? We can definitely compare the two this season. But I suspect we won't have cap space going forward unless the cap increases. I think Leduc will be very motivated when he plays Vancouver unfortunately we had to trade him within the conference. Hopefully there won't be a Vancouver vs. New York playoff match up or I might not hear the end of it. 5. Oh, we also have a back-up goaltender that should push Brant Fuhr @Tate to be even better this season in Jeremy Swayman @Agito. Do you think we will have a goaltending controversy this season? I'm very happy we got @Agito I don't think there will be a goaltender controversy but I do think Swayman we'll play infinite times better than Van G would have. Swayman can learn the trade from Fuhr. 6. Material, Material so much!! I guess I have to decide that last question and push the rest to next week so last question is: After all the changes this off season, how would you rate the Vancouver Wolves chances of repeating on a scale of 1-10? Why? 7 there's so much parity in the league and we're taking a risk this season not spreading around our cap to the defense as we may be in tough to find a defensemen for 2M at the deadline. I think if we can over come the lack of depth on defense by out scoring other teams and relying on Fuhr then we have as good a chance as anybody.

After clinching game 7 against the Prague Phantoms to capture the 86th Continental Cup things moved very quickly in Vancouver. Due to the current league make up and salary cap restraints it was imperative that Vancouver moved quickly to be cap compliant. Thus we traded Kanou finalist Biggie Cheese @a_Ferk to Warsaw for a 1st round pick and @dlamb's player rights. I didn't feel good about the trade in an ideal world we bring back the same group and try to repeat. Unfortunately the salary cap had other ideas. This trade was made easier by Vancouver winning a cup and Cheese having a strong post season. The second big trade of the off season was a lot more difficult to make but examining our cap situation and doing what we can go keep Vancouver competitive going forward (we're talking 4-5 seasons into the future) we had to move @Lemorse7 Alexandre Leduc. This wasn't a deal I or @Gaikoku-hito wanted to make but some times as managers you have to make tough decisions for the better of the organization. Again this deal was made easier by our Continental Cup victory also I believe it gives Leduc a stronger chance for individual awards. After both trades were made we essentially walked away with the 5th overall selection in the S87 VHL Draft which we were proud to select Oreo McFleury @JB123, we were absolutely ecstatic with this pick I was really hoping to get Powers a cup in Season 85 but D.C. squashed those dreams. So now w we get a second chance, at least until they're named a VHL GM. Our third big move was trading all the Season 89 picks to Helsinki. I'd like to thank @Rayzor_7 who I have criticized in the past for his communication throughout the proceeds and @samx for them putting up with my bombardment of DMs despite the be promise of dino nuggies and lack of follow through. After the deal with Helsinki it be allowed us to draft @Spaz the third McFleury brother. Reese has never played in NA before so I was happy to oblige. I still remember the sign up I made for Reinhart a few seasons back. So I better get cooking on a sig for both McFleury's. We are nearing media spot territory here so the rest will be short and sweet. I'd like to welcome @Baozi back to Vancouver I really hope we can bring your player another cup. We've had quite a bit of success in the past. @VattghernCZ and @Bobcat I'm really looking forward to you two joining the team this coming season. I have high hopes for the both of you going forward. @Gaikoku-hito @Greg_Di @dogwoodmaple @Bulduray_1 @Xflexz @Tate @TheNeonShaman @Otaznik thank you so much for your hard work this past season and I'm glad we were all able to deliver on that ultimate goal. Give yourselves a round of applause, now let's get another.

@thadthrasher @frescoelmo Thank you for the talks, glad we could work something out. Please take good care of the red panda, it needs to be fed twice a day and it's water bowl must be full at all times. @Lemorse7 thanks for the past two seasons, having you in the LR is incomparable. I'm glad we could win one for Leduc.
