The Music of the VHLM By A. Simon-Cowell-Type Part 7 Welcome back to The Music of the VHLM! This is the 7th installment of this series, and our second-to-last team. Mexico has come and gone through our looking glass, and today we are moving on to a team that many think might make a deep playoff run this postseason. Of course the regular season has finished, and at the end of it all, one team stands apart from the others; but in 4th place. Yukon Rush Tom Sawyer, by Rush The Rush finished the season with a points total of 104, 7 points back on third place Minnesota, and 10 points ahead of 5th place Halifax. Offensively, this Yukon team wasn’t anything special, nor were they poor. Their 230 goals scored was simply 4th best in the league, just like their position. However, it was their shut-out defense that has many turning their head. The Rush only conceded 143 goals this regular season. That’s 3 goals less than the Storm, and 15 less than both Philadelphia and Ottawa, making them the number one defense this season. Leading the blue line is ace defenseman pairing Lance Flowers @CowboyinAmerica and Wolf Stansson Jr @Cornholio, who are supported in the net by arguably the top draft prospect in his position, A Red Guy @.sniffuM. To represent the Rush in this article, we have chosen the song from Canadian prog rock legends of the same name, Rush. Of course, we are going with none other than Tom Sawyer. This masterful work blends hard rock, synth, and fantastical lyricism to create an enduring legacy; something that Yukon will be seeking to do this postseason. @Josh Thanks for reading, and stay tuned next week as we finish our coverage of the VHLM

Thanks! I think for the most part I'll stick to Media spots, I really like doing those tbh. I just felt like doing something fun/new for the Themes week. But I definitely will hit you up if I have any questions! -
Moscow 4-2

Vancouver Seattle Moscow Helsinki

First Graphic pls be kind. I think this fits the expansion theme well enough. If I could change something it would be how I did the words, I'm just not sure how to make them cool.

The Music of the VHL(M) By A. Simon-Cowell-Type ~Special Edition~ Welcome back to The Music of the VHLM! This week, we are bringing you a special edition of the series, focusing on the latest rumor that has hit the VHL scene, and yes you read that right, VHL (no M). The cat’s out of the bag as it were, as VHL administration confirmed today that there will be not one, but TWO VHL expansion teams entering the fray starting in season 68. It is yet to be announced where the expansion teams will make their home, which is the subject of this article. Rather than our traditional format, where we take an in depth look at the team and the song, we are just going to list some locations that have been tipped as the possible expansions. So without our further ado, here are this week’s picks! Alaska: Purple Yellow Red and Blue, from Alaskan rockers Portugal. The Man. Nuuk: Qitik, from Inuit rap group Nuuk Posse. Hawaii: Holiday in Waikiki, from influential British working-man’s group The Kinks Colorado: Rocky Mountain High, from the legend John Denver Rome: Legion of Monsters, from heavy-metal icons Disturbed Thanks for reading, and stay tuned next week as we continue the coverage

1) Hmmmm well considering I'm a goalie, that's probably pretty unlikely to happen, so I'll go with "Pure Imagination" from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. 2) I gotta say I like ballads for win songs. I think it can be a little overdone if you just to your everyday rock 3 and a half minute jam, like Seven Nation Army or whatever. My vote is for Free Bird, Lynyrd Skynyrd. The band name ever shares some spelling with the Lynx. Just imagine winning the cup, starting the celebration with the intro, then lifting the cup in the climax of the guitar solo. Perfect. 3) Hulk if you attack a goalie I'll be disappointed, but I'll step 4) Well after the most recent games, we are 4 pts clear! It's looking good, but we have to beat some good teams still. 5) What jam? Never heard of it brother 6) do you mean let Zeno have 50 more? Hell yeah give it to him.
