Hello everyone, A new edition of the World Juniors is about to begin and we are looking for General Managers! The best part about being a GM for the WJC is that you don’t need any experience. We encourage everyone to apply including any new member who’s thought about getting into the GM game. As a GM you will be responsible for: -Assembling your roster -Learning how to create lines and strategies -Creating a fun and active atmosphere for your team -Hype! We will guide you through the whole process so there is nothing to worry about. All we ask is that you be committed. Interviews will start right away and hirings to made within a couple days. Goodluck everyone!

I also have no issues with anyone being in my LR including mods. Theres a lot more context to the story but who cares at this point. The situation should have been handled better, end of story! Also, Phil is a legend.

Completely respect if it was MEANT to be a “please stop” method. It clearly wasn’t handled as such from the moderator dealing with the issue. It seems like there was a lot of miscommunication amongst the mods, commissioners, GMs, etc. and it turned into something that was not just a “please stop” issue. I just want this to be a learning experience for everyone. It wasn’t handled the right way, people made mistakes and it’s a time to take a step back and learn how this could have been handled differently.

You’re not wrong but that’s not the type of person I am. I for sure had trivia channels and there were answers throughout the chat from discussions. It’s since been deleted and a new channel has been made strictly for helping find answers. I’d also have no issue transferring ownership to prove my point.

I am filing a formal complaint against @Diland the moderator team. I expect nothing to be done with this but am posting just to have it out in the public as shared information. Today the league was put on notice for trivia channels being created and answers being shared amongst their teams. I personally was reached out to by Dil and he said I had been reported for having a trivia channel with answers in that channel. He asked if I could delete said channel and I responded with a GIF of Bugs Bunny saying “No”. Clearly, the GIF if commonly used in a joking manner but Dil did not take it in that way and said “Hm?” Side note: Dil also dropped a message in the VHL GM Corner and other GMs also responses JOKINGLY with a GIF that said “No.” Not soon after I have players saying Dil is asking them to screen shot our discord locker room to find evidence of this trivia channel. I personally think this is unethical and can cause issues amongst a team and members that aren’t warranted. Dil could have simply asked to come into our locker room, which he never did and I would have given him access to everything to look around. I don’t think anyone needs to get in trouble or punished. I just want communication to be much clearer especially when dealing with issues like this. I don’t want to feel like the mod team is going behind my back when they didn’t really put in enough effort dealing directly with me. I’m not totally innocent as joking about it may not have been the best approach and was clearly misinterpreted. Okay now go ahead and rip me apart.

Season 85 is nearing its end as Daryl Dixon and the Miami Marauders gear up for a post season run. Dixon and Miami have found a lot of success this season but Dixon can’t help but to look ahead to his future. Daryl will be drafted to both the VHLE and VHL after this season. He wants to end up being on the same team as his partner in crime, Rick Grimes. Daryl has been letting GMs know that these two are a package deal and that if they are drafted separately that he will not commit beyond his rookie contract. It’s not easy draft two high caliber prospects who want to play together but it’s been done before and they are hoping it’ll get done. Dixon also has a decision as to whether he plays in the E or up in the big league this season. Unless a team absolutely wants him up I know he’d prefer to stay down a season and marinate in the European league. Then he will be in a much better position to have a good rookie season. It’ll be an exciting off-season for Daryl Dixon and his counterpart Rick Grimes. Where will they end up?

I personally would take a super active first gen over a recreate any day of the week. I know that there aren’t enough people who think similarly tho. M is about retention so focus should be on the new members. I wonder if having a first gen draft and then a recreate draft would be a better solution just for the M. Almost like an import draft and it’ll allow recreates to be balanced across the teams better.

Calgary is in the market for an AGM to join our team. @Ben has gotten busy and notified me he would like to step down. I want to thank him for his time and effort that he put in to this Wrangler’s team. I understand and respect his decision and the next candidate will have big shoes to fill. I am looking for a new or experienced member to work with. Whether you have zero experience or lots of experience I encourage you to apply. My expectations are as follows: -Press Conferences made weekly for the team. -Someone who is willing to learn and help with line ups. -Daily activity in the locker room, socializing with the team and members around the league. -Be a sounding board for me to talk with about trades, draft strategies, free agency, etc. I like having an AGM who wants to learn and be involved.
