The VHL is older then me

Here in Calgary we started off the season strong but we lately have not been on top of our game. Calgary has gone 4-6 on our last ten and we are in a 5th place for our conference which is not a great place to be if you want a shot at the finals! With this league being a sim league it is hard to see what may be causing such a shift of momentum as the games are simulated unlike real sports so their is obviously a big difference! I know many of us here are frustrated with how fast the team went from being to the top to the middle but I know that us all in Calgary still believe this team can go far in the playoffs and maybe if the team can get back that momentum maybe just maybe our wranglers can make a run for the big chip! With the VHL being a sim league it can be hard to find what your team needs to succeed especially with the new TPE system it has left a lot of teams experimenting with what will guarantee and get a team the most wins! I bet you that if the VHL keeps the same build system people will find a way to break it but that is what it is, the VHL has a ton of people that will keep shooting until it goes in and I think that is what Calgary is doing right now! We are just taking shots and waiting till the right time for it to go in!

I want to expand on this in a media spot I’ll make but just to give the overall idea of it, why not add a mid season tournament! We see it in a ton of different sports so why not include it into the season! After the all star break make a tournament that has a round robin with team then make a bracket for the top teams in each pool! Obviously making a bracket and stuff can be confusing but I think it could be done! we could also maybe name the tournament after me, maybe “The Dahl showtime tournament” maybe even add a sort of reward to the winner maybe you could split the conferences and the winner from each automatically gets a playoff spot! It sound like such a great idea in my mind it could definitely attract teams that may not make the playoffs a shot at it and may stop teams from tanking so early in the the season when they lose some games! I feel that the addition of a mid season tournament would definitely help the league in a ton of ways it’s just a win win type of thing which is how I see it, I’m almost at 200 words but let’s think about this and I will continue talking about it!

Well I was just about to post my own questions but I guess I’ll just answers yours instead . 1. Defiantly mr Landon he has me very hyped! 2. Definitely up their maybe not a chip but up their! 3. It’s gonna be a big hole in the locker room and in the rink I feel as a team we will still be great! 4. Good for them considering how much the meta “stole” cups from them! 5. Personally I believe the VHL is mainly about making Friends I believe that we all in the VHL are friends even if we have beef or not. Well this theme week is very lame, but anyways here is my VHL appreciation media spot so I can get the TPE, smh. That is what I believe makes the VHL such a great place! The VHL is not a one man show it is different people from different cultures, pasts, power, and experiences. Even the league may be on pace to die out at one point I enjoy having a fun little place on the Internet to play sim hockey.. Overall though this league is a very good league and I think we can all say that we have all had a great time here. We overall get to enjoy this amazing league with others that we have never met but we just accept each other! Personally this league has been through a lot but it’s been all fun along the way, we can all agree that we have had a great time here, even if you are someone in power or a new member we have all had fun, of course we can all feel burn out but along that we have all had a great time and we have had a fun time with our players! In my very short time in life the VHL has been a fun way to pass the time and to get away from reality and just talk with other people that have came from different backgrounds and beginnings! There are a ton of people on the VHL that are amazing so I’m not gonna list anyone but most of you have been amazing members even though me personally and many others have had our ups and downs we have all stayed together and have stuck through things! In my idea the VHL is a great place and will be a great place from now to the future!
