  3. Was going to say... didn't think Eagle Eye did VHL
  4. lol imagine being employed am I right
  5. I agree with Bana here, Ottawa (and Saskatoon’s) are volleyball logos. That’s not to say they are inherently bad, but all of the schools around here have the same generic cougar/lynx logo for their school sports teams. I like the visual of adding in an image of each logo instead of making them find it on the portal for themselves, very convenient. I thought that Mississauga should’ve been near the bottom of the list personally, but to each their own. 9/10
  6. Good luck in Oslo, they were one of the up and coming teams last season. The only real good player was Yun Chiang, so maybe Wumbo can be their all-star this season. I like how you actually used quotation marks properly in this article. In a lot of the ones I read on this site, a different color is used to differentiate who is talking. I think you’ll have fun in Warsaw since your last player never played in the S73 expansion era. There’s a lot more scoring now. 10/10
  7. 6th Overall: G Miervaldis Arpa Zach aka 16z has had two previous players, the moderately successful Ryan Busser and the more successful Kasper Kankkunen. Busser played for 4 seasons, Kankkunen played for 6. Maybe Arpa can get to 8 seasons? Arpa earns 10 capped a week and could be a potential call-up next season, but he'd be the backup goalie behind Reinhart. 22nd Overall: LW Obi Adesanya atw2592 is a first gen player that played for Houston in his initial season in the league. Usually earning 10 capped per week, Adesanya should be able to jump to the VHL after spending next season in the VHLE. He would be a welcome addition with the retiring of Greene Giant and DaMoose in S83. 33rd Overall: LW Benjamin Franklin Chang joelunk is another first gen that spent all of last season in Mexico City. Due to earning 6 capped a week I suspect that he will not make it to the VHL for a while. I also don’t have a lot of faith in someone with such a meme worthy player name sticking around, though Riga got a lot of mileage out of RedSus so you never know. 54th Overall: C Jack Quill GoldGear88 has had two previous players, Jeff Odinson and Luke Pastrnak. Odinson would’ve failed to make it out of today’s VHLE had it been around when his player existed. Pastrnak played in Cologne in S80 but also failed to escape the VHLE. Earning 4 capped a week, Quill will have to be his best player to date if he wants to play at the VHL level. 78th Overall: G Shaun Young shaun1979 is another first gen for the Reign in this draft. A goaltender, he played 5 games for Miami last season. Due to earning only 4 capped per week and the fact he’s behind Reinhart and Arpa on the depth chart, it’s unlikely he’ll play in a Riga jersey for a long time, if at all.
  8. 1. Which team are you rooting for? Why? Team USA because Biggie Cheese is playing for them. 2. Who do you think will win this year? Team USA because they have Rome legend Biggie Cheese. 3. Did you once do the WJC? Once with my last player. 4. What are your thoughts about the WJC GMs? Haven't looked at them tbh. Underclass is Team USA, only one I care about tbh. 5. Who do you think will be the best player of team Canada in the WJC? Why? I'll say Mason Jones, he's a stud. 6. Who do you think will be the best player of team USA in the WJC? Why? Biggie Cheese of course.
  9. I will sign up and can be manager
  10. Me: I should do my point tasks My brain: woah Jardy is buttering toast :0
  11. Biggie Cheese will lead the United States to victory
  12. I think you have a pretty good article here. One thing that stood out to me is the title. If it is a conclusion to the Wild's season the correct spelling would be "Wrap Up", not rap. Rap is the music genre. Anyways, I think it's pretty cool that you provided a clickable link to every player that you mentioned. It's a pretty convenient way for anyone to look them up. Your spelling seems fine and I think the grammar looks alright, but like Mubble mentioned some sentences are choppy where they probably should've continued. 9/10
  13. Did Calgary ever hold a 3-1 series lead in this series? I wasn't paying much attention to the playoffs but that would be great for the meme. The title is also kind of misleading, Calgary actually took two Ls. It was too bad for Klamasteris, sounds like he played really well in that game six if that shots were that egregious. I agree with your sentiment that Calgary will continue to be a force in the North American conference, but it will be interesting to see how they compete with Vancouver's squad that has clearly found the meta. They may end up always the bridesmaid. 9/10
  14. Biggie Cheese is looking forward to next season, where he will finally make his VHL debut after a season with the Rome Gladiators in the VHLE. Cheese currently has 390 TPE with 5 pending, so it’s all but confirmed that he’ll have no option but to go up to the VHL next season. Joining him in Riga will be fellow rookies Yun Chiang and Alexandre Leduc, who both play on the wing. Leduc currently has 346 TPE and Chiang has 345, so they only need an update or two to get over the soft cap of the VHLE and be eligible to get called up next season. The rest of Riga’s roster will have amix of the retiring S75 players from Riga’s last big run at the playoffs, and more young players from S78-79, which includes Tobias Reinhart, Anze Miklavz and Donny Carter. With the suspension of Cabe McJake, Miklavz and Carter can expect to have a much bigger role in Riga’s forward core next season.
  15. 1. Do you think we need to draft another defenseman now that Connor Johnson is retired? Eventually, but for next season we should be fine. 2. 3 of our S81 draftees already retired for one reason or another. Bad luck? The top 3 picks for Riga are still active. I think it's just the luck of the draw for lower rounds. 3. Why is winter the worst season? I don't mind winter to be honest. 4. The ex Riga player Justin Lose is about to win a whole lotta of awards. Happy for him? Would've been cooler if he won those with Riga. 5. What reaction did you have on banning of Cabe McJake? Not unexpected, he's been a troll for a while and not a funny one. 6. Why is summer the best season? A few years ago I would've said summer break, but I'm really not the biggest fan of summer now.
  16. The Rome Gladiators were swiftly removed from the VHLE finals after being swept by the Stockholm Vikings. In game one of the finals the Vikings took a decisive 1-0 series lead with a 6-2 victory. After scoring 3 goals in the first period they never looked back. In game two the Gladiators put up a bit more of a fight. Stockholm opened up the scoring with 3 straight goals, and then Rome answered with 2. The Vikings however responded with 2 of their own. That context ultimately ended 5-3. The closest game was in game three. Trailing 7-5, the Gladiators scored with a minute left to make it 7-6. The tie was not meant to be however as that remained the final score. The final game of the series was no contest, with Stockholm crushing Rome 8-2 and taking home the cup. Stockholm’s performance was so dominant that Rome managed only a single star of the game in the entire series, when Biggie Cheese had the first star in game three.
  17. Nasherov is a wise man, never take a 2-0 lead as a sign of anything because often 2-0 leads to 3-1. We all know that 3-1 seems to be a bad sign in the STHS engine. For the second round I don't think you mentioned it anywhere, but maybe include who your opponents are because I forgot and had to look at the portal . Good luck in the second round of playoffs, I think a lot of people will be happen if you happen to take the series. 9/10
  18. I expected a weird article, and I received one of the weirdest VHL articles I've ever seen. Why is the entire thing in italics by the way? It's a little bit odd also. The VHLM playoffs are 2-2 and it seems like the series could go either way right now. The Reapers eliminated my team so I kind of want them to lose but good luck regardless. I hope your VHLE experience next season is a good one. 10/10
  19. 1. Are you happy with how your player played during the season? Yeah I thought Cheese was pretty solid, he knocked in quite a few goals. 2. Are you happy with how the team played durimg the season? Making the playoffs was a pleasant surprise after trialing Bratislava by quite a lot at the deadline. 3. What do you think about our first opponents, the Istanbul Red Wolves? I think we beat them. 4 Who do you think will win the Cup in the VHLE? Why? Probably Stockholm I'd guess. 5. Who are you planning to play with next year? Riga, I'm going up to the VHL. 6. Are you happy with the management this season? I can't complain, it seems just fine.
