I'm back! (and realized I forgot to post in the away thread and just told staff instead: reason below the "read more)

When I got to Europe, I got so lucky for so many reasons. The most important was that my assigned-by-the-company roommate turned out to become the absolute best friend I've ever had. He moved out and got on a plane to South Africa today, and I needed to be very present this last week. December has been a roller coaster of emotion to say the least.

Life moves fast, and if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it. Appreciate the good things you have now, because they won't always be there.
