Game Recap Game 45 Halifax 21st 1 Houston Bulls 0 First period: Welcome to the Founders Cup Finals, the first period did not net any goals, but boy oh boy did the tempers start to flair, with a combined 9 penalties in the first period, even a game misconduct by Alex Bridges. These teams came to play and they played hard. 2nd period: it seemed both teams got their frustrations out and started to play hockey, with the Halifax 21st striking the first and only goal of the game. Micheal Lee Jr got their first of the playoffs and scored the game winning goal. There was one roughing penalty but other than that some solid hockey 3rd period: Honestly, this game was a goaltending masterpiece, both goalies game to play with Powers saving all 29 shots faced and Lorequavius saving 34/35. This was a back and forth period but no team would reach the scoresheets resulting in a Halifax win! Three stars of the game 1 - Chad Powers 2 - Bartholomew Lorequavius 3 - Michael Lee Jr

Life has been pretty good recently, I had a few health problems that required further testing, but I got good news that nothing is wrong with any organs and all scans came back good. My blood tests came back super well, had really good levels and all and all everything is awesome. Work has been super good recently too, very stress free, even more stress free knowing I’m not super sick or anything. I just need to keep working on my health to get where i know i can be, so i stop overthinking everything. I really have found my groove lately in the league, I’ve been having a lot of fun updating and engaging in different locker rooms, I’m very happy to have made a few friends that keep this all interesting every day! I want to get more involved in the forums and in the league in general, that’s why i applied to be an AGM for Moscow and I’ve been trying to interact with the people in the league a bit more. It has been an awesome season and I am happy to be where I am at.

I talked into my phone for this media spot while on break at work, so hopefully there are no glaring errors I missed lol!

The King Finally Rests... It has been pretty bittersweet knowing that King Kisslinger is finally done after the Seattle Bears lost in game six to the Calgary Wranglers. I feel better seeing Calgary in the finals, knowing that we potentially lost to the Continental Cup Champions. I know this is their first time making it in quite a while, so hopefully they have a good series against Moscow, and may the best team win! I did not expect to have as much fun as I did with King Kisslinger, but towards the end of this career, I had the most fun I have had in the VHL in a long time. The locker rooms and teams I was a part of were the most fun and engaging in a long time! Shout out to Vancouver and Seattle, both of these teams brought back my energy and joy to the league, and I am thrilled to have won a cup with both of them. It Is Igor's Time!!! Igor and Halifax are on a bit of a crazy run right now, tied 2–2 in the VHLM finals against the red-hot Houston Bulls. Igor has been having quite a few solid games, netting a game winner and scoring the only goal for Halifax in their most recent loss. Chad Powers, our goalie, has been amazing. If we do win the championship, I feel like he should be the team MVP. I’m looking forward to both the VHLM and VHL drafts, This is going to be an exciting time as we get closer and closer to finding out where Igor is going to land. Especially after seeing the draft lottery and seeing which teams are picking in the top 5. I see that he is projected to be a top five pick in both drafts, which is cool because I’ve never been picked that high, you never know if I will go in the top 5 because some great members could jump up and some awesome first generation players who are putting in the effort to make their names known and become a top pick could make the jump. I feel like a major aspect that makes and keeps the VHL fun is the draft process. VHL is Love... VHL is Life... Seeing new members who get to experience the VHL and how it is for the very first time, and getting hooked like we all did at one point in time, is something I enjoy as well. It is a cool experience watching them because I’ve been in the VHL for almost 5 years now, and I know exactly how they feel. It feels like just yesterday I was making my first player! I don’t mind where Igor gets drafted and what number he gets taken with. I am game to play on any team, meet new people, or play with the same people I’ve played with before, I am just excited to be here. To me, it is a fun experience regardless! I’m looking forward to putting my all into this player and making Igor the best player that I have ever made. I have a very strong feeling this S99 class is going to be very good. Even though we have such a strong draft class after us, S100. I know that S100 is the deepest draft in a long time, but I know that some of these players in S99 are going to have fantastic careers and be star players for their respective teams!

1. The classic throw the glove in the air and shoot it, fits Igor as he is a sniper! 2. I take the shot, the clone can watch how its done! 3. Not good, He cannot shoot left if his life depended on it! 1. What is your hockey hot take? 2. What do you think is the most important thing for a championship team to have? 3. what is your biggest VHLM/VHL accomplishment so far?

Tough Battle ahead... King Kisslinger and the Seattle Bears started hot in the playoffs, winning the first two games of the series, but in a turn of events, Calgary has won three in a row, putting the defending cup champs on the brink of elimination. What will be the Kings' last playoff run before he rides off into the sunset may be cut short by an eager Calgary team that is ready to prove they are the next championship team. Do Better! "We just have to play better in these close games," King Kisslinger said. "We are letting Costanzov down with all of these high-value shots through to him. We know he can make the saves, but he can't save them all. I feel like we need to help him out since he is such a beast in the net and can keep us in any game. I just feel bad, and that we are letting him down. This team is a team that I believe can go all the way and win back-to-back cups for us and our awesome fans back in Seattle, but the way we are letting the other team do what they want in these close games has to stop. I know we can be better, I can be better, we have at least one more game to prove it." Staying Focused on our goal! I came to this team last season and saw the work that all of the players, coaches, and management have put into this team. We battled through many tough series last year, so I know we have it in us to bounce back and play the way the Bears play, smart, confident hockey with purpose. This is my last season here in the VHL, so I want to make it special, show all the fans what this means to the rest of the team and me. I want to set a standard for the next generation of Seattle players and keep the culture here the way it has been, and us coming back in this series would be the perfect way to do so. If we come back and win, we need to regroup and focus because a red-hot New York team is headed our way. The King reminisces... If this happens to be my last series ever. I just want to reflect on my career and how far I have come. I went from a midline forward to a borderline star. I learned a lot over my career, and I am thankful for my time in Warsaw, Vancouver, and Seattle. I learned so much about myself as a person and a hockey player during my time on these teams that I wouldn't trade anything for it. I know my name is King, but the fans around the VHL have made me feel like a King. It was so amazing to have fans from all of the teams in the league come up and talk to me, even if it was friendly trash talk or for a photo and an autograph, it all meant and still means the world to me. It has been an honour to play in this league. King Kisslinger out!

Hey everyone, i hope everyone who celebrates Easter had a great one filled with fun and family. I had two dinners and got to spend time with my friends and family. In other news, I’m getting an ultrasound on my gallbladder, we will see if anything needs to be done there but fingers crossed! VHL related, Seattle off to a hot start and the King is playing super well, 2nd and first star in the first 2 games hoping to continue the momentum. VHLM related, Igor has been producing in the playoffs, i believe with 2 games winning goals in our sweep against the wild, proud of the team and can’t wait to get into the next series! I have great faith in both my VHL and VHLM team this post season. Im excited for the drafts, I’ve stated this in a few of my articles, but it is my favourite part about starting over, it’s just lot of fun to me. I love seeing which team is excited to take my player and hopefully become an impact player for the franchise and bring that club a cup. until next random ramble!

Igor Sokolov is ready to take over in his very first playoff series. Igor Sokolov is approaching his very first playoff series with the Halifax 21st. As a waiver player, it has been something that has been on his mind for a while, "Did I choose the right team to sign with?" and to answer Igor's question, he did. Igor and the Halifax 21st are headed to the postseason and are ready to take on any team that stands in their way. Igor has started to generate a little more hype for his play, as he scored goals and found his groove a bit more than usual. Igor is very confident that he will help in any way possible to help the 21st achieve what they failed to do so last season. The First Round... The Halifax 21st is set to match up against the Saskatoon Wild. Halifax, on paper, should be able to fend off the Wild no problem, but the Wild have top scorer CJ Daniels on their team, who can turn a favourable match-up into an unfavorable match-up quickly. The Halifax 21st will have to use their players in a way to shut down Daniel's offense, and not sacrifice their offense in the process. Igor believes that the 21st has what it takes to win this battle and move on to the next round. Igor has had a secret weapon in helping him get ready for the playoffs... Secret Mentorship?? Igor has gone out and sought out a mentor, someone who once struggled early in their career and eventually flourished, someone who went from the bottom to the top, not by luck but by hard work and dedication. That mentor is none other than back-to-back champion, King Kisslinger. The King told Igor to trust the process and to keep working as hard as he has been because, eventually, the grind does pay off. King told Igor about the times he was never on the stat sheets, always looked over, and felt like he wasn't good enough to help a team contend for a championship. But it all changed when he started betting on himself. King has won back-to-back championships and is looking to earn his third in a row with Seattle this season and ride off into the sunset on top. King has been working with Igor these past couple of weeks on the mental battle of this sport we love. Teaching Igor not to let the little things stay in his mind, but rather to use that as fuel to be better for his team. "Use your mistakes and failures as lessons. If you can learn to do this, nothing is stopping you, Igor, from being the best version of yourself on and off the ice every single day." Igor has enjoyed his time training with King Kisslinger and is looking forward to putting his teachings into action tomorrow night. Let's bring the cup home! Igor has been preparing for this season's playoff for what feels like his whole career, and just now is he ready to go into battle with his fellow teammates and bring the cup back home to Halifax!

Time to ramble again for 2 TPE! Seattle has been red hot and is looking ready for another deep playoff run. Everyone on the team has been locked in and helping in each of their respective ways, i love the way the team has built up chemistry in their lines. Lowkey feel unstoppable once we get our momentum going. Hell, we won 16 games straight, that’s enough to win a championship right there. I don’t want to jinx it or anything but i feel Seattle has a good chance making another statement this season. Hoping the King will sit atop the throne as he rides off into the sunset. The Halifax 21st are doing just as well, we have super solid players that are just getting better and better, i think this team is destined to finish what they couldn’t the other seasons and that’s to go all the way and win. We have a few good teams in our way but i truly believe we can do it, just like Seattle. In other news, my girlfriend surprised me with tickets to see the Blackhawks vs the Sens, i am a huge Blackhawks fan living in Canada but I’ve lived so far away from any arena for such a long time that i never even thought about going to a game. I have really good seats and I’m really excited!

Igor is my fourth player. 3. 5 am, ain’t no rest for the wicked. 1. you have to plan a road trip for you and your teammates, where are you going and why? 2. what is one of your favourite VHL memories, if you’re new, what is one of your favourite hockey memories in general? 3. What is something people may not know about you or your player?

Igor Sokolov is a dynamic, big Russian winger and potential lottery pick in the upcoming VHL/VHLM drafts. Igor Sokolov has been a name the league has been hearing for years. Someone who will have an impact and potentially change the direction of a franchise is finally ready to be drafted. Looking into Igor, here are his biggest strengths and biggest things he will have to work on to become an elite pickup in this draft. Strengths: Defensive play: Igor has been a menace on the penalty kills, he is a player who is not afraid to fight for the puck in the corners and through his body on the line to prevent the other team from scoring. He plays with a fierce drive that elevates him above others when it comes to defence. For a winger, Igor is exceptional. Speed: Igor is the Russian Rocket 2.0, his speed is unmatched when it comes to his peers. His speed goes hand in hand with his defence efforts, allowing him to dictate the pace when he has the puck. He is someone you can always looks to spring on the fast break to get an offensive opportunity. Igor continues to impress with his speed. Weaknesses: Offensive finishing: Let’s be real here, Igor has not been amazing when it comes to getting on the score sheet. Igor has 19 points in 65 games. Granted he has been on the last couple of lines, he just has been struggling to get those finishing touches. He needs to work on this or teams may go with someone that has proven they can score at the professional level. Attitude: Igor has a hard time keeping his cool, he gets into his head, if he takes a bad penalty or misses a golden opportunity, he lets it sit with him all game long, and you can see that his play is being affected. Igor needs to leave what happens on the ice shift by shift and not worry about things he can’t control. Igor is still young, so it’s not really an issue. Overall Igor is a solid prospect who can be that elite winger that you need him to be. Any team will be lucky to have Igor, they just need to have the time and patience as he may be a player that takes a season or two to really develop into the player he is destined to be. It will be interesting to see where Igor ends up next in his hockey journey.

I am the most committed to Igor Sokolov out of all three of my previous players. I have achieved a lot through the almost five years I have been in the league, but I have not achieved VHL HOF status, which is my main goal of Igor Sokolov. I know that it is a big thing to strive for in a player, as it is basically in the hands of the sim if your player is good or not, but this is the one thing I have been decently close to but have not been able to reach yet. I want to commit to one team, give it my all, and achieve greatness. I want to be a great locker room guy, an amazing teammate, and an even better player! It is going to be a battle between staying focused on updating and doing everything else in my crazy busy life, but I know that I can keep up and keep improving to eventually reach my goals. I am happy to be back and excited to update and continue the journey, as there were times were I was completely unmotivated, but now I feel like I am back and better than ever!

1. Agm pay maybe? Even if it’s just 1 tpe lol idk couldn’t think of one. 2. invisibility and or super speed. 3. More, most people would agree i feel. 1. Did you like the VHLE? Do you find the 2 league system better or worse? 2. What is one fact about your player? 3. Do you want your player to leave a legacy? If so what kind of legacy?

There have been many bone crunching, hard hitting, absolute goons in the VHL, hell there are some players playing right now who are a nightmare for any other team to play against. But today I’m going to look back on my own players and see which Kisslinger was the toughest of them all. The three Kisslinger’s that have played here in the VHL are Zachariah Kisslinger of the Prague Phantoms, One of the greatest Warsaw players of all time Zach Kisslinger II and of course my latest and last Kisslinger, the King. All of these players were totally different on the ice but the one question remains… Who was the toughest Kisslinger of them all. Zachariah Kisslinger was my first player in the VHL, WAYYYY back in season 73, which I believe was 2020. Zachariah Kisslinger was a Prague lifer and he was a stay at home defensive defensemen. In 288 games, Zachariah had 483 hits, 407 penalty minutes and 572 blocked shots. Zachariah had an average of 1.68 hits per game during his 4 seasons, 1.41 penalties per game and 1.99 shot blocks per game. I know Zachariah only played 4 seasons but he was willing to sacrifice the body for hits and shot blocks at a decent rate. Zachariah was definitely someone to make a physical play, as he wasn’t very good at anything else. Zach Kisslinger II, the player i had my very first little bit of success with. He was a superstar in Warsaw and the captain of the franchise, he has the most points in franchise history, but how much of a tough guy is he? In 576 games played, Zach had 1766 hits, 320 shot blocks and 715 penalty minutes. The math shows that Zach had 3.07 hits per game, 0.56 shot blocks and 1.2 penalties per game. Zach was definitely the more physical of the two, i would say that the body checks makes him tougher than Zachariah, due to the fact of that Zach had played 288 more games and managed to almost double Zachariah’s hits per game as a superstar forward. Last but not least, the King. King Kisslinger was a treat because i got to experience a whole lot more on this player. In 555 games the King has 1085 hits, 197 shot blocks and 495 penalty minutes. That equals out to 1.95 hits per game, 0.36 shot blocks and 0.89 penalty minutes. The King was the most disciplined of the three, the second most physical but the worst shot blocker of the three. He was more of a complete player than any of them. Judging by the small stats i looked over, i would say Zach Kisslinger II was the most physical and most “tough” of the three Kisslinger’s. With Zachariah Kisslinger being the second toughest and the King being the least tough. Kisslinger II was probably the most offensively skilled as well making he a dynamic weapon of both sides of the ice. I can’t wait to see if Igor Sokolov can beat the Kisslinger’s stats and toughness.

31. What is something you're proud of? Climbing the ranks at my job, constantly moving up. 33. If the Bears HAD to rebrand to a different animal, which would you pick?\ The Seattle Sambar sounds clean to me. 34. Starbucks wants to do a banger of a collab with your player. What do they do? SEATTLE CITY OF COFFEE. The Kings Keurig (secret blend) 35. How has your player started the season? Did not start good at all but is a machine as of late. 36. What's your take on the VHL standings right now? Seattle good, the rest bad. 37. Your player has a cheat night once in a while. What are they snacking on? 3 pounds of chicken wings, may not be the IRL cheat night as well lmaoo

King Kisslinger has been heating up during his retirement season. He has been scoring way more this half of the season and has been a constant presence on and off the ice for the Bears. The King is enjoying his last professional season, the vibes are plentiful in the Bears' locker room as they look to defend their championship. They have a deep roster, and it would be excellent for the King to go 3/3 for championships and ride off on top! I am happy with how the King's career has gone, lots of firsts for me like being traded not once but twice, and going back-to-back to win 2 championships. Igor has been doing alright, nothing exciting. He is a waiver player, and the build is not the best. But I know time will be his friend, and all of the upgrades will finally get him to produce. I am excited to see how this VHLM season will go. I think Halifax has a great team, and all of their young players are great earners, so by late playoffs, we will be amazing. Igor will be an impact player by then I believe. It has been entertaining watching these two players.
