  1. Off-season is always such a fun time for the VHL, from almost forgetting to update every week like i do and waiting for new sims that won’t happen for weeks. It is a very entertaining time, just kidding. I find it hard to stay locked in and keep things going. I understand that it’s hard to do things league round but i need to find more around the league to keep interested during the off-season. I have been busy in real life working lots so that plays a lot into my updating. I’m really excited to see how this new season plays, the New Warsaw lines should be interesting and i can’t wait to hopefully put up a point per game this season. This week i didn’t know really what to write about so it’s me kinda rambling. I keep forgetting to join these little tourneys to keep this dialed in the off-season! Until next week :)

    2. Have you kept up with the league since our playoff departure?
    3. Do you have a plan to build your player?

  3. King Kisslinger Interview

Justin Faulk Sport GIF by St. Louis Blues

Today on TSN we have an exclusive interview with the Warsaw Predators' number one center King Kisslinger. He just finished his second season In the VHL, which saw some rocky parts but it still was an improvement from his rookie season. We have him here today to ask him a few questions about his playstyle and how he feels about what is next in his interesting career. He was more than happy to come on today and talk to us here at TSN in this super-exclusive interview. To get things going, here are a few questions from our reporters here.

To get your interview started we would like to welcome you King Kisslinger to our wonderful studio, to start things off we wanted to ask. What are your plans during this long offseason?

This offseason I am taking some time off hockey, it has been a very long time since I went back home to Canada to see my family, and sometimes I feel like the mental aspect of being a professional hockey player is overlooked. It is so hard to be on the road traveling back and forth between NA and EU, it gets tough. It is hard to train and train every day without any breaks. But I am going to take some time off and focus on the things that matter which are family and my me time.

That was a great answer, I do feel like Mental Health is overlooked, look at all the NHL players finally taking and putting themselves first, so it is nice for professionals and other leagues to do the same. Our follow-up question would be, have you been dealing with mental health issues on ice this season?

Yeah, I would say so. I would say that the lack of point production gets into my head. I was a first-round pick but am not living up to my hype, I think it is hard to live up to my potential sometimes but I know that I can be the player I was drafted to be. I will be on the right path I think after taking time for myself and my family! It is all one step at a time and I cannot wait to dial back in.

Awesome answer, I am glad that you get to take some of your time off. My last question of the interview would be to ask if you are somewhat excited for this next season and if you will feel refreshed or not.

After this time off I am so sure that I will be refreshed and a new me will be on the ice, I can not wait to show the fans a relaxed and new version of me who is ready to play at a superstar caliber and for the wins. I can't wait to show and give the player these great fans deserve and want. Today is the start of the future me and like I said I am fired up for it!

Well, that includes our Interview, thank you so much for your time King Kisslinger, good luck moving forward and on your next season!

    1. Looking back at the playoffs, what positives can we take away from that series?
    2. Raise your hand if you are hyped for next season and playoffs.
    3. It's my birthday on the 3rd, how old will I be?
    4. Would it be fair to say that we put Moscow on the map during the season?
    5. My player has a plan to really push defense up. Do you have a plan for your player?
    6. I am going to kick back and relax during this offseason. What are your plans?

    1. That you guys can compete, It was cool to see from this season to last where you guys got to!

    2. I am so excited for next season, hoping for big things from my player!

    3. I am not sure but I'm gonna guess 20 or 30 something lol.

    4.  I would say you guys did, showed them that the Moscow powerhouse is coming back.

    5. OFFENSE OFFENSE, I want my player to perform.

    6. slowly max upgrade doing some tasks throughout the week to keep things easy.

  5. What an up-and-down season for King Kisslinger as he had moments of glory and failure. It was an interesting season, to say the least with his performance. Linemate changes, and poor team performance one night can take a toll on individual performance. Was this season a complete right-off? No, I don't think so. We had many team highs and many team lows but these are all things that happen with a rebuilding team. I think next season King Kisslinger will have his best season yet. He will be the number one center on the team this upcoming season and he will have new and improved stats to go along with this opportunity. I think his other two linemates will uplift his stats this upcoming season as they are super dialed in and on the path to superstardom. These next few seasons are hit or miss for King Kisslinger before I hit panic mode.

  6. Rambling for TPE #100

Talk Too Much Shut Up GIF

King Kisslinger and the Warsaw Predators season came to an end the other day, with the Warsaw Predators finishing in 7th in the EU conference. A lot of changes mid-season and a disappointing start to Kisslingers season may be to blame but all in all, we have a future to be excited about. Thor and Maxim had amazing seasons, super important for our future. I am excited for a couple of our prospects that are coming up, it will benefit us more than we know. If we want to compete next season I think a few free agents will need to be signed to help us compete with the other growing teams. I think Warsaw is in a pretty decent spot, even with no draft picks as we can choose to build around the future superstars we have rather than focus on building another one up. It may seem silly but that is what I think at least. We have the pieces to have a future championship squad it is just up to us as players to earn and for the GM to figure out what lines enable us best. I have been in Warsaw for many seasons now, including my last player and I went through not making the playoffs, to making it and losing to finally winning a cup and I get that feeling we will be on that same path as the last Warsaw team. All in all, we need to lock in and focus on what is best for us moving forward.

    More VHL-related Rambling!

Talking Danny Devito GIF by The Animal Crackers Movie

We currently have at least three max earners that I know of, which is a great start. I know that once the team starts buzzing other players will want to earn a bit more because they feel like there is a point too. Sometimes while losing and or if your player is playing poorly it is hard to have that motivation to update. I have run into that a few times this season with King. It felt like no matter what I did I could not get any points or do anything to help my team win some games so I found myself clicking the welfare button a few times. It was hard to break that habit on my last player during the final seasons, and I found it the same this season a couple of times it was up to me to see the bright side of things and break that habit. I am not sure if a few of my teammates went through that or not but it is rough lol. I have been finding myself enjoying earning again and enjoying being a part of the community. Ever since joining a few years back I have been go-go-go-go and haven't taken much of a break and honestly, I don't want to anytime soon. This community has been amazing and I am so grateful for the people I have met and spoken to and the friendships I have formed! Anyway, enough rambling it has been enough, time to prepare for the long off-season once more haha!

  7. Warsaw's season has come to an end and It wasn't all that, but there were a few positive takeaways for sure, the trio is doing quite well and will only get better as time goes on. It was nice to see King Kisslinger do some damage towards the end of the season. Maxim and Thor were machines and truly led the way and it gives us hope for a good future. I know we don't have very many picks in the next couple of drafts but we do have some beauties coming up ready to make a splash in the big leagues. I know King Kisslinger will get more and more points as his career goes on and his stats will start to even out and make up for how much I had to put in Faceoffs. It will be an interesting couple of seasons in Warsaw but I am committed to the squad and the future!

  10. Review:

Super awesome article was an interesting read and I like the amount of research you put into picking players. I like that you have a title, it flows smoothly and is also an easy read. Formatting is janky but that could just be me, it is also the only thing I can think for you to improve on! I like how you put who you think would win, it shows me you put effort into writing this rather than slapping something out for TPE. Spelling and grammar are done well. I hope one day we can rerun these events and have real results, It's a great article, keep writing!

  11. King Kisslinger has had busy weekend this past one in Warsaw, he was asked to play in a celebrity  soccer game. He played with a bunch of random big European celebrities that he didn’t know much about but he definitely made some new friends. King Kisslinger went out and tried his best to score a goal for his fans but was unsuccessful due to the goalkeepers being actual professionals. It was for charity and they ended up raising a bunch of money for the city and local charities.

I had a lot of fun said King Kisslinger, it was something that was not competitive and just a lot of fun so it was nice to relax and do something positive for charity and the city! It is something i want to do more of, it’s nice exposure for good reasons and it gives me a chance to connect with some good people! We may not have won the game but we won over a lot of people here in Warsaw.

  12. The Money is calling!

Make It Rain Money GIF by SpongeBob SquarePants

King Kisslinger recently signed a four-year contract extension with the Warsaw Predators, which shows a lot of commitment between both parties and they both could not be happier to get it done. King Kisslinger has not been living up to his first-round pick selection, although he has shown flashes of brilliance, having a few multi-point games, recently with a five-point game, and a few muti-goal games, He has shown that the talent is there. This new contract comes with a full no-trade clause which further shows how committed both sides are to each other. The Kisslinger name runs deep into the Warsaw Predators organization and King is looking to cement his name along the other one. This is a big step in the right direction for both sides in my opinion and one that will help bring the championship back to Warsaw!

    Thoughts on contract extension.

Pondering Anthony Anderson GIF by BET

King Kisslinger was recently talking about the contract extension and he stated, " I was always told about how great of an organization and city Warsaw is, and when I got here I couldn't believe it lived up to the hype and more. I am happy to be back here for four more seasons and put all I can into this team for the next little bit. It feels nice to know that the team and the management are as committed to me as I am to them, makes me feel really good knowing this and getting the contract done early with no chance of me doubting anything. I am super proud to be a Warsaw Predator and cannot wait to win here!"

King Kisslinger also said, "It makes me want to perform better on the ice knowing I am a part of the future plans, I know our team makes quite a bit of trades so it makes you think you could be involved in those trades, especially with me not performing as well as I should be but now I have no stress or worry and I know I am here to stay." This team is like a small family and it is something I am happy to be around. One day I would like to become a captain of this team and lead them to a cup, just like my family member before me Zach Kisslinger II. I don't have to be the main captain but I just want to eventually lead the next wave of players of this franchise.

    Staying committed

    Trust Believe GIF

When it comes to being committed King Kisslinger tops the charts, ever since being resigned he has had a fire lit underneath him. The urge to be the best has come back and I don't think it can be stopped, the updates are coming sooner, the upgrades are coming faster, and the standings of the team are climbing. King Kisslinger wants to not only make himself the best he can be but everyone around him as well. This is something King Kisslinger hasn't felt in a while and now that he is, the league should watch out. King Kisslinger and the Warsaw Predators are hunting, and you better hope you are not the prey.

  13. All-star ideas??

Toronto Maple Leafs Wow GIF by NHL

All-star Week is an event that is just for fun to celebrate the best of the best in the current season. Most of our major sports leagues have something like it such as the NBA, NHL, and NFL. I would like the VHL to bring something like this back. I know at one point in time we had events and an All-Star game but I feel like we could do something like this once again. I believe it to be something to look forward to and something we as a community can all do together and get involved!

I feel like having an All-star draft with the two best GMs (one from NA and one from EU) as the people that draft the roster, would have a pool of the best players during the current season from the leagues and it could be something we do in the discord where everyone can see. It would create a bit of community engagement. The NA GM can pick players from EU and vice versa. These GMs would have their rosters formed and the players would know what team they are repping. I know we would need some commitment from some of the people and I know life gets busy but this is just something a little extra to look forward to in the season and a way for people that doing super well to be recognized for their players hard work. If people cannot do the all-star game we could always make some substitutions. The community can get involved and vote for an all-star game/series MVP for a nice little touch.

I wouldn't mind the events coming back because it is fun to see, My old player was in an All-Star competition a long time ago and I still remember it to this day. This is something we can make a little history tab on. Hardest shot, fastest skater stuff like that would be nice to see back, and fun events to have. Imagine knowing your player had the hardest shot in the league, they are the fastest players in the league, all fun records to be proud of. I feel like this is probably easier to sim than the all-star game since it can be done by one person and is more likely to come back rather than the other idea but It would be cool to see happen. Maybe by next season, we will have something even just one thing back!

I feel like my last idea would be to do it in all leagues, not just the VHL, doing it in the M and the E gives newer players a chance to get a feel for it and it may even have a few new people stick around longer. I know that could be a long shot but it would be fun for them as well. Sometimes I feel like we forget about the M and the E but it would be super cool for sure. I am not for certain that these things have not happened in these leagues but I don't remember seeing them.

  14. King Kisslinger has become a man possessed, he was been doing everything right on the ice and finally finding himself on the scoring sheet, even putting up a few multiple point nights.

“It feels great” said King Kisslinger. “It’s nice to get out of the slump and start producing at a higher rate. It’s nice to feel like the I’m contributing to the squad again. I have been working with the best coaches and the hard work is finally coming together. My teammates are finding me in the open spaces and vice versa. The team is coming along nicely, the locker room is buzzing and we cannot wait to become a force in this league. Warsaw’s time to shine is almost here and we will put the league on notice.”

It’s nice to see my player finally progressing on the ice, it’s nice to feel like I’m doing something after feeling like my player sucks lol.

    2. Do you think any VHL awards need to be renamed?

    3. What is something that you feel is missing from hockey video games?

    1. Moscow, they have been amazing after having a little bit of a slump the season before, crazy to see the turn around.

    2. Yeah, eventually, there have been countless players that deserve to be recognized and bring a new meaning to these trophies!

    3. Gm connected, would be super awesome to see it brought back in a new and exciting way. Madden does it  decently well why can’t NHL

    1. Who is your all time favourite NHL player and why?

    2. Do you have a favourite VHL memory? Was it something you were apart of and something you witnessed?

    3. If you could change something about the league what would it be and why?

  16. Review 9.5/10

This article looks awesome. I love that you made the questions and answers different colors so it is easy to follow. The color choice is nice as well  The article is an entertaining read and I love the questions you ask your player. The spelling and grammar are nicely done and the formatting is done well. I like it when photos are added to a media spot, makes it look a little cleaner but other than that it was a super solid article. I like the part about crossing the border to have some drinks in Canada, really funny and something many do haha. Good luck on the rest of your season!

  17. Review, 9.5/10

Great job on the article, Was a nice read just like the last one. I like that your media spots are always different and refreshing to read, the formatting looks great and it is a smooth read. No spelling or grammar issues in my eyes so that's always nice haha. A photo in the article or something would give you the .5 needed for a 10 but that's the only constructive criticism I have. I like how you used an off-ice issue to explain why the sim hasn't been nice to you, was cool to see the direction you took and I am sure your player will pick up! good luck Ecker

    QUESTIONS

1 - How's your player doing this season?  Playing more or less to your expectations?

2 - What new food have you tried and liked recently?

3 - What new music genres have you discovered lately?

    1. not very good but looking to stay positive, Wish he was doing a little bit better. so less than expectations

    2. Hummus and different kinds of it, surprisingly good.

    3. I don't listen to many different genres to be honest, for the most part it is hiphop but I have been enjoying hyperpop!

    QUESTIONS

    1. If you could relocate one team in any of the VHL leagues what team and why?

2 What has been keeping you busy during your free time? video games, school, sports etc.

    3. What was your favorite subject in school and why?

  19. King Kisslinger has started to pick up his game as of late, the GM has been playing with lines trying to find the optimal lines. Kisslinger has been slowly getting onto the scoresheet and is happy to feel like he is a part of the squad producing! These line changes give King Kisslinger many different players to play with and see what he/who he is best with! Kisslinger has been finding his way on the scoresheet with some goals and some assists. He has been stellar on the faceoffs like always which is a super important part of team success offensively and defensively. He will continue to work hard to be the best player he can be and we will watch his progress closely. It has been a disappointing season so far as I have stated in my past articles and media spots but I feel like I can still turn it around somewhat.

  20. Review 9.5/10

Just wanted to start and say nice article. It is always nice to see people do them! The article is a nice, quick, and easy read which is always appreciated. everything reads smoothly and is full of good information on your player. The grammar and spelling are done well so bravo to that! I like that you tried to format the media spot to make it look much more nice and you even gave some titles which I love to see. If there is anything I can suggest to improve on maybe it would be to indent the paragraphs and or add some photos but that is being nitpicky because I know people have lives and get busy lol. I think you can write some great media spots so it would be nice to see a few more about your player and the way this season is going. Cheers

  21. Review 9.5/10

Great article! was a super easy read and was quite enjoyable to read also! I like how you went through and showed off all the good players on the Houston Squad this season! I like how you added the point totals or their best stats and put what they are on pace for, that was a nice touch. The grammar was decent and I didn't notice spelling errors, so well done! If I were to add anything to improve on it would be to maybe indent a paragraph add some titles and separate the paragraphs a bit, so like talk about the forwards in one, D, and Goalie In the other. If I wanted to be picky I would say you could add a photo but all constructive criticism is related to visuals not the actual structure of the paragraphs! Keep writing media spots and I will be sure to check them out moving forward!

  22. King Kisslinger Interview

Justin Faulk Sport GIF by St. Louis Blues

King Kisslinger, a  promising young player who can do it all but is desperately struggling to get it going is having a very rough start to this season.  King Kisslinger has 25 games played and has registered 5 goals and 6 assists for 11 points this season. He has been super cold and unable to do much other than win some faceoffs. What could be the issue??? Is it off-the-ice problems, on-the-ice problems, or a mixture of both?? Today we will take a deep dive and ask King Kisslinger some hard-hitting questions to get to the bottom of this issue.

    THE INTERVIEW

"We would like to welcome King Kisslinger and thank him for coming onto our show, We wanted to just jump right into the questions and see how you're feeling and what you're thinking regarding your on-ice performance. Do you think the recent moves that the general manager has made have affected your confidence and your point production this season?"

"To answer your question truthfully, my confidence no, but my performance yes, Last season I was top line getting top-line powerplay minutes and now that is not the case, I love my new teammates and what they bring to the squad so I like the moves so I am not very stressed about my scoring on the stat sheet, as long as I am helping in my way such as winning faceoffs. I know I am the future 1C of this team and I don't mind taking a step back to learn from some of the veterans! Like I was saying my confidence is fine because Hockey is more than just appearing on the score sheet. There have been lots of very good players who do just fine not putting up a point per game. Just have to keep focused and keep working with my coaches on getting better."

"Is there a Player that has been working with you to try to help get you back in your groove?"

"Yeah, Anisimov and I have been working together every day off the ice and on the ice. It helps that we were drafted in the same draft and were both pretty well the solo stars of the team last season, so if anything he understands what I am feeling. If anything this has made me much closer with my team and the management because they are not giving up on me so I will never give up on them. My off-ice life has been great honestly, now it's just getting the wheels going on the ice"

"Last question here, Do you feel like the team's performance has anything to do with how you are playing?"

"Maybe a little bit of course but in the grand scheme of things no, I don't think we are really in a position to compete and make an impact in the league this season, We have a fairly young team so it will take a little bit for us to get some experience and be able to play our game of hockey. We have a lot of work to do as a team so I wouldn't say it is on me 100%"

"This wraps up the interview, we would like to thank King Kisslinger for taking the time to answer these questions."

  23. King Kisslinger of the Warsaw Predators is on a slump this season. After what looked to be a promising start for the 15th overall pick of Season 90, Kisslinger has only recorded 11 points in 25 games.

Most know that it takes time for players to develop in the league, however it’s clear Warsaw wants more from the centre and hopes he begins to make moves at improving his game.

When asked about his performance Kisslinger said,

“ I’m not too focused on the stat sheet this season, I’m more focused on our teams overall chemistry, maintaining leads and winning games. Some of the best hockey is played off of the stat sheet.”

With the halfway mark of the season approaching rapidly we will have to keep King Kisslinger on the radar and hope he begins to bounce back. The Warsaw Predators are currently 10-14-1 with their own hopes of progressing in a positive direction.

    LETS GO PREDS!!!
