Counter argument to your "kill welfare to help retention" argument: On the one hand your point is valid that having people just click twice and then not need to do anything else means they might not try to do anything else, good for retention right? The problem is that on the other hand how many current long term members depend on that button to stay active? How many of those people just don't have the time to stay and do the full weekly tasks? You kill welfare you lose those older members. So it's not really helping retention in a way, it's just cycling older members out for newer members and even then it's only doing so in theory.

These ones are technically just a primary and an alt but there have been 2 Halifax logos. The original is still visible on the portal because I never got around to changing it in their little banner thing. We paid someone a stupid amount of money to make a horrid logo that I had to spend hours trying to fix anyway. Take a look if you don’t mind your eyes bleeding.

I just don’t see why it wouldn’t be the updaters since it would just be the same thing but at a different time. That’s also why I don’t see a point though. How is that not just theme week but moved and with the same theme every time?

I mean that’s just theme week but literally the same theme every single season isn’t it? Plus putting it in the off season means brand new recreates get even more TOE which we have tried to avoid, that’s why it’s the week before the deadline. As for updaters I’m not sure why that would be an issue that we would need to address?

TBH it's less that we're bored of it and more just that we gotta come up with something new every 2 months and then a majority of people just shit on it anyway. It kinda turns into a bit of "why am I bothering to come up with this if everyone is just gonna hate it anyway."

That is correct. That is also correct haha. To be fair though it’s not like we were the only ones. Stealing logos like this was the common method back in the day when the leagues were small, poor, and with basically no graphic skills.

I mean there is literally no reason that they can’t. We’re really rather lenient with this sort of thing as long as permission is asked in advance. Like most things people just don’t ask because they assume the answer is no.

Haha that’s great. Just wish it was using an older Davos logo, would make more sense.
