    1) Who's equipment smells the worst?

    2) who's the most likely to get lost on a road trip?

    3) Who's the biggest Nerd on the team?

    4) who's the most likely to become a politician on the team?

    5) What show do you binge watch on long flights?

    6) What do you do the celebrate a win?

    1. Emi's hockey boots are pretty stinky, she doesn't wear her socks in there and her cheesey feet smell gets all over them. Yuck.
    2. I think I would be likely to get lost on a road trip, I'm not very orientation oriented, and I would be too busy drinking monster energy to figure out where I am going.
    3. I heard a roumour that Venus is a big skunk plushy nerd.
    4. I can imagine that there would be some similarities between managing a team and managing a city or country, so I would imagine that beavis would make a good politician with the experience and skills that he has learned form GMing.
    5. When I have to fly between Halifax and Vancouver, I like to watch chicken  run on repeat, I like the part where they nearly get turned into chicken pies. Yum. Dead chickens are so delicious.
    6. When we win I take a long nap to reward myself.

  2. Riley has been weighing up whether or not to apply for a job at monster energy during her spare time, when she isn't playing ice hockey, in order to create the flavour that she has always dreamed of. She has to drink the same 34 flavours over and over, there isn't enough choice, she needs something new. Ultragreen is delicious, tasting like sour apple and maybe some tropical fruits added in, but Riley wants something fresh. What would be better for this caffeinated drink than to bring out a matcha and coconut flavour? The matcha would be energising and the coconut would be refreshing.
Riley doesn't know if this would be a good idea though, since she doesn't want to limit the hours that she puts into training on the ice rink between games. She especially wants to keep practising her shooting since she is passionate about that, and she wouldn't be able to improve as quickly if she is busy creating flavours for her favourite drinks company.

Answer 6 questions of your choosing for 2 capped TPE!

    1. We've won 19 straight, what do you think is the key to our success?

    2. Are we above or below your expectations for the season?

    3. Saskatoon is right there with us. Do you think we'll beat them out this season?

    4. Is your player doing as well as you thought you would?

    5. How do you think our draft shapes up now that we're nearing halfway through the season?

    6. Who do you think our biggest rival in our conference?

    7. Besides yourself, who's been dominant for us?

    8. What can we still improve on?

    9. What's your favorite video game?

    10. Who'd win in a boxing match. Dil or Shawn?

    1. My faith in Grape due to their delicious taste has really helped push forward the morale of our team, we couldn't have done it without.
    2. Above, we've been doing very well. I didn't have much knowledge about the teams before I joined so I didn't have a high expectation for anyone yet.
    3. I came from Saskatoon so I have to say I am a little biased to both teams, I don't know who I think will win. Good luck to us though.
    4. My player is doing better than I had hoped, with 22 G and 22 A.
    9. I like to play monster hunter stories because it has the word monster which reminds me of my favourite drink monster energy.
    10. Dil would win with their big feathery fists.

Late week version of AGM asks.

    1. What do you think the key to our good start to the season is?
    2. Who do you think the stand out of the team will be this season?
    3. Who do you think will win rookie of the year?

    4. Do you think we can make the playoffs this season?
    5. Who do you see being a future leader in the locker room?
    6. Which player is most likely to go into management once they retire?

    1. Drafting Emi, because she is very good.
    2. Emi will stand out of the team this season because she is very good.
    3. Greg, he told my team, Halifax, that he is the best so I will believe him. He has been getting some good scores I think.
    4. If we believe hard enough we will acheive. I think we have a good team.
    5. Emi will be a future leader in the locker room because Emi is good. She is an AGM already though.
    6. Emi, she takes on too many roles across all sim leagues and I know she doesn't know how to say no to an oppurtunity like that.

  5. Hi Mums of Mum's Net. I'm not a Mum myself but I heard that you guys know everything there is to know about dietary information so here is my question to you. I'm a 23-year-old ice hockey player who needs to bulk up my muscles a little and get fit for my games. At the moment I am drinking 8+ monster energy drinks a day to stay awake and I eat the occasional packet of crisps or cone of chips to keep myself going. I've just been informed by a friend that this is not a good diet to have for a sports player and that I'm gonna end up crashing or having a heart attack if I keep this up. What would you guys suggest I eat on a day to day basis to be efficient at my sport, and what foods should I avoid if I want to stay healthy? Please bear in mind that I want to feel more awake than I do without caffeine, and I have a sweet tooth.

Before Riley Couture was drafted by the Miami Marauders into the VHLM she played for a peewee team in her home city, Sheffield. The team was called Sheffield Puggles, their logo was coincidentally the same platypus with a glasses disguise icon that Dylan uses on his discord account. Puggle is the word for a baby platypus, which was a fitting name for a team that held a bunch of 11 and 12-year-olds since they are young, like a baby platypus.

At this age, Riley Couture wasn't very good at skating yet, she would often slip up on the ice and fall into her teammates, who all hated her for the injuries she caused them. She was already illegally drinking monster energy drinks at 12, in the UK you're not allowed to drink energy drinks until you're 16, and you need an ID to buy them, she was getting them from her older friends from her secondary school. She would drink the green coloured ones in order to give herself enough energy to play. Even if she was pathetic at this time, she did manage to score the team's only goal... by falling over and slipping with her stick held forward, the stick by chance slid into the puck, which crawled into the goal. Even though this was a victory for Riley, it wasn't a victory for her PeeWee team who had 18 goals against them. A lot of children cried that day, and many participation rewa pizzas were eaten.

Riley moved throughout the UK's Development League until she was 21, and during this time she improved greatly since her toddler 12-year-old days. She finally figured out how to skate without face planting the ice. It was around her later teenage years that her caffeine-fueled training sessions started to be taken seriously, she would start to practice in the various areas that she wanted to improve upon. It was at this age that she started her weird Emo phase, that she thinks she got out of, but her cat ear outfits and neon green bangs suggest it still stook around. As she found more confidence in her own fashion expression, she also found confidence in her game and built up her skills ready to be drafted at the age of 23. She moved into the VHLM with a pretty balanced skillset with the hopes to develop herself into an offensive scorer role during her future career.

    Riley Couture - C - ??
VHLM Drafted 29th Overall (S73) :mia:
VHL Drafted: 19th Overall (S74) :que:

    Sheffield, United Kingdom
    Age: 23
    Height: 5' 7"
    Weight: 145 lb.
    Handedness: Right
    NHL Comparison: Logan Couture

    Overview:
In the first season Riley was drafted into Miami Marauder, who traded her the same day to the Saskatoon Wilds. Riley worked well with her Team Mate Emi here and found her team to be supportive. During her time on the Saskatoon Wilds, Season 73, Riley earned 48 points, between 37 assists and 11 goals. After this season she was traded to Halifax, ready for season 74.  On her new team she showed more offensive prowess, having scored 7 points within 4 games, which is a much higher ratio than in her first season.

    Pros:
Passing: Riley Couture in her first season has primarily been a pass first player. She gained 37 assists in season 73, with the Saskatoon Wilds, and has already gotten 4 this season despite only playing 4 games so far, showing an impressive 1 assist per game in season 74.

Physicality: Riley shows a strength in her physicality, managing 86 hits during her first season during 72 games played.

Face Offs: She has also shown a firmness in her abilities when it comes to her face offs.

    Cons:
Shots Blocked:  One of Riley's weaknesses is in her shots blocked, having only managed 6 during season 73.

Discipline: And Riley lacks discipline having 52 penalties in minutes in the same season.

    Improvements:

Accuracy: Currently Riley is showing an improvement in her accuracy, last season she scored 11 goals in 72 games, but this season she already has 3 goals in 4 games. A part of this improvement seen has been thanks to her moving from a 2nd line centre in the first season, to a 1st line centre in the ongoing season. She has been adapting to this well,  last season Riley's Accuracy was at 11.6 %, and now she is managing 16.7 %, showing an increase of 5%. Thanks to Riley's training and a change in position she has shown a good steady progression in this area.

Power Play Goals: Riley showed a bad start in this area, during her time with the Saskatoon Wilds she didn't manage to get a single Power Play Goal, but during 4 games with Halifax she has already improved by gaining 1 Power Play Goal whilst Halifax's opposing team had a penalty.

    5. Who do you think the biggest reach in the S74 draft was?

    6. Any early favourites to go 1OA for S75 draft?

    1. We did really well because we got me.
    2. I'm looking to keep a good balance.
    3. I have to finish a monster energy drink before each training session otherwise I can't focus.
    4. Venus Thightrap and Jesper Norberg  with me on left wing.

    4. What are your predicitions for next season? Personal or league wide (Standings or your players stats)
    5. You've been control of the teams Twitter account for a Ask me Anything.... What is one question you hope wouldn't come up?

    6. Do you think we could do more to help you as players?

    1. I am looking forward to doing more point tasks, getting tpe is fun for me.
    2. @nikhedonia is my best friend not in vancouver and my best friend IRL.
    3. It is the same number as Logan Courture, I have it on a sharks jersey.
    4. I predict I will be good.
    5.  What are your predictions for next season?
    6. Yes. I think people struggle with creating their character the most when it comes to sim leagues. And while we're trying ot make them as easy as possible, as it stands it is still a little daunting and does turn away a few potential members.

  10. Not sure if these are seperate roles for different kind of graphics.
I can make team logos, I will work with a team and give them a few variations to make sure they like the outcome.

  11. Last week, after having my daily monster energy drink, I set out to meet my friend and teammate Emi in order to get some training done together. Because I wanted to do up my scoring, Emi agreed to play in the net and try to stop my puck. She's a little more developed than me so this was a challenge. To give an example of the difference between our players; Emi has 1 goal and 3 Hits, whilst I have 0 goals and 1 Hit at the moment. I hope as time goes on we could become more evenly matched, but I don't see this as a competition.
The draft for the major league will be soon, however, and if we are drafted by different teams this could all change. I am nervous about what will happen if Emi becomes my rival. One thing is for sure, I won't be surprised if she goes higher than me in the draft and gets called up sooner.
