  11. if it was just for new members that's one thing, but this rule encourages me to leave for 3 seasons and come back rather than just make a player now
  12. the rule is stupid and encourages me to leave the league for 3 seasons rather than creating a player right away I am pointing out this loophole to make the VHL a better society
  13. this league has gone downhill ever since @boubabi left
  14. 10 tpe, and I'm not going to let everyone else get an advantage in tpe over me to start my player that's just dumb

  20. +10 for Gritty
  21. Philadelphia - The Best City on Earth As everyone knows, the VHL decided to add the best city in the world to the league when the Philadelphia Reapers expansion team was added to the VHLM. Being a major Philadelphia fan, Gritty was very excited to see the team's arrival, and was disappointed he wasn't created a year later so he could play for Philly. However, since Gritty hails from Philly he has some great suggestions for ways members of the Philadelphia Reapers can have fun in their home city. Go to a Flyers or Phillies Game If members of the reapers want to see the best mascot who ever lived, they can attend a Philadelphia Flyers game at the Wells Fargo Center. Additionally, Reapers GM @BladeMaiden can use it as a great teaching moment for her players, as they can watch Andrew MacDonald and Robert Hagg fail at playing defense, and learn what kinds of mistakes they need to avoid in order to be successful in the VHL. If members of the Reapers want to see the world's 2nd best mascot and Gritty's best friend, they can go to a Phillies game to see the Philly Phanatic. There is also some guy named Bryce Harper who is a pretty big attraction at Citizen's Bank Park as well. Get in a Workout at the Philadelphia Art Museum Everyone loves Rocky, as his hard work and determination is an inspiration to us all. Who doesn't want to replicate the scene where he runs up the stairs of the art museum and celebrates? The Reapers could even make it into a team conditioning exercise, and run stairs over and over again to work off the Philly cheesesteak they will be eating later in the day. Get the Best Cheesesteak in the World at John's Roast Pork Many people who haven't been to Philadelphia just go to the tourist traps in Pats or Genos, and that is not where to go to get your authentic Philly Cheesesteak. You wouldn't think a place with Roast Pork in it's name would have the best cheesesteaks, but there is a reason why this tiny restaurant always has a really long line. The meat is really good, and they pack a ton of it into your cheesesteak for a reasonable price. Celebrate the Founding of Murica Philadelphia has a ton of history, as it was actually the nation's capital for about 10 years. If the Reapers are ready to get their patriotism on, they can visit the liberty bell and appreciate wrecking those naughty Brits in two wars. Down the street from the Liberty Bell is the Constitutional Convention Center, which is where the U.S. constitution was crafted and then the ideas copied by many other democracies around the globe. They can also visit Independence Hall, which is where the Declaration of Independence was signed by all those important dudes.
  22. Through 19 games so far the Quebec Vancouver Wolves are in 2nd place with 28 points, which is a solid start to the season. As far as team success goes, I am very happy to see us doing well. On a personal level, being a rookie with a low amount of tpe on one of the top teams means that the other players are going to be scoring most of the points since they are far more skilled than Gritty currently It would also help if I stopped being lazy and got around to updating Gritty at some point, as it's been a few weeks. I wonder if I should make him a pass first player so he at least gets some points from passing it to the players who are far better than him. Maybe I should just pull a trifecta and retire but then beaviss would be sad and never play apex with me again, and I would have no one to carry.
  23. 4) Go to the best Philly cheesesteak place in the world, John's Roast Pork. Then eat something chocolate peanut butter like Reeses because that's the best. Then go to the portal to retire my player. Then jump off a bridge. 5) My favorite part is the community, it is an awesome and interesting group of people because only weirdos go on a simulation hockey league. My least favorite part is the New York Americans. 1) With GMs on all different time zones and schedules, it does make it easier for everyone rather than organizing a specific time. 2) Probably somewhere around 4-5. I am not catching Eudal, you, or Bushito. DT will retire. 3) That depends a lot on sim luck. I don't think I have the motivation to make Gritty into a top end player tpe wise. He will be a good, solid player but I'm not going to be capping out every week. 4) I like Quebec, but if the team ever looked like it was going downhill, or Beaviss left as GM or other factors then I would consider leaving the team in free agency. I will remain loyal to my team as long as they remain generally competitive and seem to have competent leadership.
