  1. INTRODUCING... Wanted to make a graphic to celebrate Tater Tot taking over the starting role in London and had this awful idea, that took far too long to execute. Making Tot out of literal tots instead of putting them on his mask has created a monster that will now haunt my dreams. Apologies to Igor Shesterkin.
  2. 1. Extremely nervous. I've got big shoes to fill and a major role, hoping I can live up to it. 2. I'll miss Onde, he came over from Vancouver with me! 3. Stay the course. I think we should honestly wait a few weeks to see where we land in the standings and then judge what adjustments need to be made. 4. Always need more prospects, especially since we seem to be heading towards a rebuilding route! 5. Alcohol makes everything better, so of course. 6. I don't think cereal is a soup, but did you know that the ocean technically is?
  3. League is going to be able to legally drink in Canada soon, that's crazy.
  4. 1. Didn't get pucks deep. Also, couldn't find the right combination it seems. 2. Onde is a bamf, so that leaves a massive gap, considering the price paid. 3. One year deals, and sell at deadline if we look like we arent going to make it. 4. Probably enough to just keep it in the picture. 5. Gotta grind hard as that #1 goalie now. 6. I have no idea who that is, but as a fan of the Leafs, can confirm that curses are real.
  5. 1. I mean, I'm here, so clearly everything is going to go better. I mean, I guess Onde is cool too. 2. Well we're called London United so something Brexit inspired would be hilarious. 3. Stop counting their birthdays. That way you stay the same age. Honestly though, I have no idea how regression works so... uh. Spend money on it? 4. Well it's honestly hard to judge. Save Percentage is probably the one I check most. 5. A meme player name? Now who would do that? Honestly. The only thing I know is that I won't be doing the goalie thing- as much as I love the mask. WAYYYY too much job competition. 6. Corgi Plushies.
  6. 1. Well I made a joke about me being traded because we have another goalie in the minors ready to come up and the GM responded with a laughing emoji so it was nice knowing yall... I'll be sad to go, but hopefully I can make a banger article or graphic about it. 2. This one. 3. It's been ROUGH. Rebuilding team means like 40+ shots anight. 4. I feel like Tucke ris a cop out answer at this point. 5. HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. No. 6. 7. I honestly want to get better at earning again. Ive kind of slacked off since Ive had an issue with my wrist, now its time to get back to it.
  7. 1. Uh. I got an assist! Otherwise, not the best. 2. Really worked on Rebound control to try and help lower shots agains! 3. Same thing really. 40+ shots against a game is dangerous 4. I mean, always Tucker. We came up together through the system! 5. I mean, that first overall pick is looking nice... 6. Once again, gotta be tucker. Or the GM. Serves him right for liking the Jets.
  8. 1. Great except we didn't need another goalie 2. Still gotta say Tucker. We came up through the system together 3. Kicking Wolv out of the discord. (But seriously getting Green Gaming) 4. Trading Su hurts, but I also understand the reasons. 5. Current? Matthews. All Time? Pavel Bure 6. The tears of the enemy team's shooters.
  9. 1. Personal performance is about what I expected. Good record with half decent save percentage and awful GAA lol 2. I expected us a little higher in the standings but we've had a lot of 1 goal games. Should be easy enough to bounce back. 3. Definitely Sosa or Su. They're both very active in the lockerroom 4. - 5. I mean, what can be any better than a wolf? 6. I'd probably volun-tell Tucker to share. 7. Stick with Goalie. Too much skating when youre a forward or defense. 8. -
  10. "Just hasn't been putting the work in." Those words were the justification on draft day from announcers when his stock dropped in an already deep goalie draft. Tot saw names called before him that he had been ranked ahead of, which further drove home those announcer's words. It wasn't until Minnesota finally selected him that the sigh of relief came and he was finally able to breathe. Having Minnesota select him, after signing him has a free agent in his pre-draft year showed trust in the young goaltender that he needed to feel. A trust that Tot was sure to repay in full as Minnesota was building for a deep VHLM cup run. The moment Tot walked into the locker room as an official VHLM rookie, he made a promise to himself to become the hardest worker in the room, on and off the ice. And he stuck to that promise through the year, going from a welfare level minimum earner, to max-earning every week. Though saying he did it by himself would be a massive understatement. Tot wouldn't be the goalie he is today without his now former general and assistant general manager at Minnesota Storm, or his fellow Vancouver AND Minnesota draftee, Henry Tucker. So it only made sense that Tucker and Tot took those first steps onto the ice in Vancouver at the same time, as they both looked around in awe at the lights, larger arena and of course their new teammates who they had to endear themselves too quickly. For Tot it was an easy task, as he simply just settled into the net and got ready to do what he did best- take shots. He made it known to his teammates that he wouldn't leave the ice until they needed to- if someone wanted to stay behind after practice to work on their shot, Tot would be there to flash the leather at them. Now, with his first VHL win behind him, and that puck framed beautifully on his mantle place, Tot knows there there is still a lot to work to be done. Despite it only being his rookie year, he has his eyes set on Vancouver's starting job, and hoping to fill the rather large hole that was left by Spyro retiring. Seemingly in a 1a / 1b tandem to start the year, Tot is more than aware of the opportunity being given to him by his new general manager and is more than poised to reach that next rung on the ladder as he works continue to climb and do his best to prove all those doubters from his draft year wrong.
  11. 1. Pretty well! I've got a winning record so far, and I'd take that over my less than spectacular personal stats any day! 2. Well I wasn't able to do much because of a nagging wrist issue, but now that it seems to be healing I'm working on catching up on training! 3. We've got a rookie GM who is still figuring things out and each day we seem to be getting better so I'm feeling pretty good about them! 4. - 5. Toronto, but thats probably because its where I'm from. 6. Tucker, came up with him from Minnesota so I certainly have familiarity with him. 7. Leadership, clearly. But honestly probably Rebound Control to try and help count down shots against 8. 0
  12. Figured with making it to the show, I needed a VASTLY upgraded graphic/sig Out with the old: And in with the new:
  13. 1. Be a Jack Campbell type back up. Team first, positive lockeroom influence. 2. - 3. Resting, taking care of a wrist injury sadly. 4. Henry Tucker is the easy option here. We came up together from Minnesota. 5. Juggling for hand eyes practice. 6. - 7. Not sure I'll manage it, but I'd love to stay above .900 this season. 8. Don't let your draft position dissuade you. I got taken lower because people were worried about my TPE production. I ended up being the top ranked goalie from my draft class by the end of the season. A lot can change in a season!
  14. 1. Only one I really have is getting that first message about my draft interview saying they wanted to draft me! 2. 3. I guess I just keep in mind that what goes on in the higher ups isn't in my control, but my own stuff is. 4. Put Tucker on Defense lol 5. Stretching. Always gotta get more limber/flexible 6. During a game? "Please Mister Puck, just not the face." Pregame rituals? Hearty bowl of pasta 7. "Don't take Tater Tot as a nickname, that's awful"
  15. 1. A little, but not that much better. 2. Yeah. Houston had looked like a power house! 3. Gotta bet on myself here and go with Canada 4. Gotta double down with Canada again 5. I was! Starting goalie baby! (Or at least I assume I am with the most TPE) 6. Luck. Honestly. Gotta be on the right team at the right time. 7. As a Leaf fan I gotta say whatever the Bruins are. 8. Does Winnie count?
  16. Glad there is going to be a lot of familiar faces playing in front of me
  17. 1. Special teams and myself it seems. 2. Well I had expectations of being in the finales against houston, so not quite. 3. Just shy, was hoping for over a .900 save percentage but fell short. 4. While I'll hit 250 this week, I'm not entirely sure if I'll be called up. Hoping for it thought! 5. Goalie of the year maybe? 6. Moreau tore it up so much. 7. Think up more awful Media Spot ideas that are only funny to me.
  18. 1. We'll lose one in the process then take the series. 2. Our goalies are walls just in case. 3. Joshoo or Pisa. They were both top 10 as well in scoring. 4. I mean it sounds like there is one! 5. Not off the top of my head no. 6. Home Ice matters when you win, because you want to win at home. 7. 3-1
  19. 1) The Leafs. Just... don't talk to me about that Ottawa game. 2) Yep! Was kind of born into it, raised with it! 3) I have no idea how it would be done, but like a WWE style sim league would be interesting. Or Lacrosse. 4) The Jersey tuck rule. 5) Canadian division is lit, but having it makes me realize I have no idea what is happening in the rest of the league. 6) I know someone keeps complaining about a 9-6-1 7 ) I'd call it breakfast, but really, it's just a coffee.
  20. 1. Our first shutout. Hope you don't mind, I got it for them early. 2. Resting the body. Stopping all those pucks and writing articles takes it toll. 3. Being a goalie, I'm going to have to go with blocking a shot lol 4. An axolotl. Being able to regenerate any damage I did from being stupid would be super useful. 5. "My name is Rayz and I give really good in-depth post-game reviews talking about corsi and PDO" 6. Houston. They're the other big dogs. 7. Skate to the groin. Is a jockstrap really going to protect that?
  21. I shouldn't be allowed to write articles.
