Todd Cooke is finally starting to see his hard work pay off , Finally starting to produce more then he was in the first 10 games this season when he was snake bitten . Through the last 14 games cooks has 10 points and has contributed on both sides of the ice proving to be an effective player wherever he slots in , in the lineup . Although his recent breakthrough in production is a positive sign Cooke know he has more to offer to his team in Oslo . His recently found chemistry with Gus Bentley has been a welcomed addition aswell to the surging storm ! The two players have recently enjoyed some success together when playing on the same line . We’ll check back next week and see is Cooke keeps trending in the right direction . In his quest to become one of the premier players in the VHLE this season . If things keep going in this direction it truly is only a matter of time before he gets there !

Game 38 recap Rome took on Istanbul in a one sided affair . The Red wolves jumped ahead early in the first . Rome responded at the tail end tying the game at 1 . The first period would ultimately be as close as Istanbul would get this to winning the game . The gladiators would pot 2 more goals winning the game 3-1 and outshooting the red wolves 50 to 20 total and 25 to 2 in the third period. If Shaun young wasn’t in net for the wolves this one could have gotten way more out of hand !

Game 33 Recap Bratislava took on Geneva in a back and forth game . Geneva took an early 1-0 lead into the 2nd period not long into the 2nd they went up 2-0. It took all of 8 seconds for the watchmen to respond . The game would remain 2-1 till just over 5 minutes into the 3rd where the watchmen would tie the game 2-2 it would remain that way all the way through the rest of the 3rd and ot Bratislava would win 3-2 in the shootout bringing an exciting game to a close !

Through the first 10 games of Season 85 the Oslo Storm have been on fire ! Winning 9 of 10 games ! One player that has not performed up to his potential is Todd Cooke . While Oslo is enjoying success in the early part of the season Cooke hasn’t quite found his game in the VHLE yet . While Cooke is extremely happy to be a part of the Oslo Storm he knows he has a lot more to give to his team on the ice ! With on 5 points in 10 games Cooke has a lot left in the tank . Things have been looking up with 5 points in the last 6 games ! One thing that hasn’t struggled tho is Cooke’s physical game and his ability to get shots on net ! Cooke has all the ability in the world he just needs things to go his way and everything to come together ! Oslo has faith that he’ll bounce back from the slow start and contribute like they knew he could at the beginning of Season 85! When it does all come together watch out !!

S85 is about to get rolling and the Oslo storm are ready to come out of the gates hot ! Let’s take a look at the roster @JB123has put together this offseason . First let’s take a look at the forwards John Jameson ( @Frank) C first off we have Oslo’s first overall pick from the S85 draft. Jameson was also recently named one of the Oslo’s assistant Capitan. Many people thought Jameson was going to be playing in the VHL myself included ! Jameson is one of the top offensive weapons for the storm this year look for him to have a fantastic season before jumping to the VHL next year with Prague . Jon Webber Jr ( @Webberj ) LW Recently named Oslo’s Capitan. Webber Jr came into this season as one of the top prospects from the S84 draft ! From the beginning of the offseason Webber has been a huge leadership presence in the storm locker room . Webber is everything you want in a winger and Capitan in the VHLE . He’s poised for a huge season this year ! Juan Sano lll ( @denns) C After 3 seasons in the M Sano is bringing his leadership to Oslo this season Also recently named an assistant capitan . Sano Is a very reliable Center and adds to Oslo’s strong forward core . Look for big things offensively from him this year ! Todd Cooke C Cooke is coming into this season as one of Oslo’s top prospects. Cooke projects to be an impact Center this year looking to prove he’s ready for the jump from the VHLM to the VHLE. Gus Bentley ( @boatsinking123) RW Bentley is a VHLE vet coming to Oslo via free agency this year . Bentley looks primed to have a big Season in what appears to be how last one before he jumps to the VHL full time . Bentley will fit into Oslo’s top 6 very nicely this year ! Arthur Kimura ( @FBR) RW Kimura returns to Oslo for another season . With all the makings of a speedy scoring winger Look for him to build on the recent success he’s had in recent seasons in the VHLE . Kimura will be a veteran calming presence for Oslo this year ! Akio Suzuki ( @Erik) C Suzuki is young player looking to get some time in the VHLE this year and show he’s got all the makings of a good center man for years to come ! Suzuki is coming off 2 strong season in the VHLM and is excited to get a taste of the VHLE this year David Cobberson ( @David Cobberson) C Cobberson comes back to Oslo for a second season. Expect big things and huge growth from him this year he’s been putting in the work to improve and contribute to the team . Cobberson is another one of the many leaders Oslo has in the locker room look for him to take another step this upcoming season. Lorenzo Cobberson ( @Hendrix Cobberson) C Cobberon makes the jump from the VHLM after a huge season last year , Joining his brother in Oslo . Like his brother , Cobberson is looking to take a step forward in his game this year ! He has all the tools to do it , it’s just a matter of putting everything together! There you have it , Oslo’s forward group is very exciting they have a group where everyone is looking to contribute offensively on any given night ! One thing is forsure this team does not lack firepower and depth up front ! Next we’ll take a look at defence ! Reid Johnson ( @TopTiddee2) Oslo’s other first round pick from the S85 draft is an absolute stud on the backend . He lays it on the line every single night . One of three promising 2 way defenders coming up this season Johnson was a very good defender on a championship Vegas team in S84 and looks to bring that experience from last year to Oslo this year ! Nicholas Blue ( @lidz ) Blue returns to Oslo for another season and will be looked too , to lead the backend this year . Blue looks to be a solid two way defender that can play big minutes and contribute on both ends of the ice ! Look for blue to be the veteran calming influence for the younger defenders coming up this year Brodie Landry lll ( @Brodie_Landry) Brodie like Johnson is another stud coming up from the VHLM this year. Finishing last year scoring over a point per game ! Landry can flat out put up points while not sacrificing too much on the defensive side of the puck as well . Hunor Solyom ( @solyom) Solyom comes to Oslo after 3 good seasons in the VHLM . Solyom is the third in the group of two way defenders making the jump to Oslo this year . Expect him to be good in both zones and contribute wherever he can ! Overall Oslo’s d core has 4 very good promising defenders who play great in all 3 zones ! Finally we look at the goaltending tandem that Oslo will run into the season Henry Tucker Jr ( @NSG ) Tucker comes into this year with a slight edge and will be leaned on as the starter for Oslo . Tucker was the STEAL of the draft this year at 12th overall and looks to establish himself as one of the top Goalies in the VHLE this season ! Sam Tombstone ( @samthemancub) Tombstone is everything you want in a Goalie in this league and he will complement Tucker nicely ! Tombstone will get his fair share of games in and show he’s no slouch either ! Oslo’s Goaltending tandem is a position of strength for them and in my opinion one of the top tandems in the league ! well folks there you have it ! Oslo has a lot to be excited for as this looks to be a huge season of growth for them! Coming off the heels of a season where they finished last in the VHLE the look to have one of the stronger teams in the league ! With the off-season coming to a close Todd Cooke is ready to get the season underway . This season Cooke will take his talents overseas to play for the Oslo Storm in the VHLE for S85. This off season has been huge For Cooke , he’s put a lot of time and hard work into growth and development on and of the ice ! More importantly the development as a center ice man on both sides of the puck to establish himself as a 2 way guy is a big thing he’s focused on . Cooke closed out his VHLM career as a big time 2 way player and one of Oslo’s top prospect coming into this season ! Look for him to prove to everyone that the praise he’s received was worth it ! He’s definitely trending upwards going into the upcoming season! Look for both Oslo and Cooke to have big season’s this year ! This week Training Camp kicked off and Todd Cooke is doing everything he possibly can to be ready for Season 85! Cooke is projecting to play with Oslo this season and has been working hard to prove he belongs in the VHLE . One thing Cooke has worked to improve is his offensive and defensive game . Further reinforcing his status as an up and coming two way forward in the VHLE ! We caught up with Cooke during the opening day of camp here’s what he had to say . you’ve worked really hard continuously improving your two way game is that something you take pride in ? yes forsure I wanna contribute wherever I can and whenever I can ! I wanna help my team however possible ! The draft was earlier today how do you think your team did ? Excellent we got a lot of really good players that I’m looking forward to playing with this year . As well as players that will have an impact on the coming seasons ! The present and future is bright in Oslo ! lastly are you ready for the season to start ? oh I can’t wait to get things going it’s gonna be fun !

I believe Jameson will be a very important player , as well as Tucker jr in net 3. I’ve always used number 19 ever since I was 8 years old 4. I’d like to see the Bills win ( I’m not a huge football guy but I do watch the odd game) 5. Honestly probably any of the lord of the rings movies 6. Turf forsure !

With the S85 VHLE draft complete let’s take a look to see who @JB123picked up ! 1st John Jameson ( @Frank ) JB made a splash picking up Jameson with the first overall pick ! Jameson is a HUGE pickup for Oslo ! He’s gonna be a top centre this year in the E . Pretty well everything you could ask for in the centre ice position ! Jameson is Definitely a player to watch this season in my opinion ! 5th Overall Reid Johnson ( @TopTiddee2) Johnson was one of the best defence men available in the draft. He’s someone that can provide sounds positional play and provide offence as well . A little on the smaller side Johnson gives you a bit of everything! A solid addition to Oslo’s top 4 overall 12th Overall Henry Tucker Jr ( @NSG) This pick in my honest opinion was the Steal of the draft Tucker will give Oslo an incredible starting Goalie ! Tucker was easily one of the top tendies in the VHLM ! Tucker gives Oslo stability in the starters position ! 16th Overall Nikolas Kauppi ( @Tetricide ) Kauppi is a scoring winger who will play in the VHLM this year. But he’s got all the makings of a scoring winger , look out for him this season among the league leaders for points in the M this season . This pick was more of a pick fore the future . Kauppi will be a big piece of Oslo in S86 17th Overall Reno Reinhold ( @Reno ) Reno like Kauppi will play in the M this season but I can see him developing into a top d man in the M forsure . Rolling right into Oslo’s d core in S86. 25th Overall Robert Overmeyer ( @RobBro34) Overmeyer projects to be another solid winger that will put up points. His defensive side of the game also often gets overlooked as well . Look out for him in S86! 30th Overall Alex Minion ( @Minion) Minion sliding down to 30 really caught me off guard he’s a solid goalie for Oslo and a great pick as well . Minion earns at a very good rate , has a solid build and adds the competition aspect to Oslo’s goalie rotation. Next to Tucker this pick is probably the steal of the draft ! 41st Overall Kevin Kirkpatrick ( @Jayrad28) Kirkpatrick is an interesting pick to me he looks like he’s gonna be a scoring winger . And overall offensive threat ! This season will be an important one in the M to see if that plays to be true. Overall @JB123Improved his team with the big picks in the early parts of the draft addressing needs up front , in the d core , and the 2 big pickups in the Net . Oslo had a big draft this year making the team better now and for years to come ! I for one can’t wait for the season to get started to see how everything comes together. With the off season in full swing we caught up with former Houston bulls centre Todd Cooke to see how his off season is going and to get his thoughts on this upcoming season. here’s the interview here. hi Todd thanks for joining us today ! No problem thanks for having me back it’s been awhile ! Todd , last season was your coming out party in the VHLM . What did you learn in your breakout season? the work never stops , you have to push yourself to constantly grow and get better everyday. The VHLM taught me a lot about being a pro and I’ll take that with me throughout my career and definitely into Oslo next year ! Hows your offseason going so far ? Excellent so far taking part in the WJC and the ProAm tournaments . Training everyday just trying to consistently grow and get better. Can’t wait to see what the VHLE season brings this year ! you mentioned your taking part in the WJC what are your thoughts on your team ? @TMGSosaJakky has put together a very good team . I think there’s a lot of people overlooking us but I think we can prove ALOT of doubters wrong and do some damage . Also my old buddy Weaver is on the team too so I’m really looking forward to playing with him ! you and weaver had a good season together in Houston can you speak to the success you guys shared as a duo ? first of Weaver is a class act and a natural born leader He was our Capitan in Houston . He set the tone every single day and led by example he’s always the hardest worker on and off the ice ! It was a pleasure playing with him last season I’m excited to share the ice with him again. recently the red pandas picked you up in the ProAm tournament draft are you excited to get started ? Of Course ! I’m excited to get work and meet all the boys and see what we can do in the ProAm this year . I’ve never played in this tournament so I’m excited forsure ! This will be a very fun first time experience and I’m looking forward to every bit of it. you were recently named on of Oslo’s top prospects that’s a pretty big honour ! ya it forsure is , I’m looking forward to coming in and trying to contribute right away and make an impact . Proving that I belong in the VHLE matters to me and that’s exactly what I’m going to try and do !! do you believe that making the VHL is an achievable goal this season ? It all depends on how the season in Oslo goes at the start . But I think I could end up there definitely next season S86! This off-season will be huge for Cooke ! After the two tournaments he’s taking place in his focus will turn to making Oslo and ultimately the VHL . One thing that’s certain Cooke Is a promising up and coming player looking to prove himself

Former line mates from the S84 Houston Bulls Todd Cooke and Daniel Weaver @ThePerfectNutare playing on the same team again . This time in the WJC on team world . It’s looking like coach jakky @TMGSosais going to try them on the same line early on to see if they can recreate some of the magic they mad in the VHLM with the Bulls last season . Both players were well over a point per game and seemed to really complement each other very well finishing 1 and 2 in scoring on the Bulls. Cooke was very excited when he found out he’d be joining his former line mate in the WJC . “ we played really well together last year , we got to know each other’s tendencies and became a reliable duo as time went on” Cooke is a big Centre who plays a 2 way game and tries to use his size to create space for Weaver who is an exceptionally talented scoring winger , Currently ranked as the #1 prospect in the S85 draft ! This tournament well see Weaver solidify his status as the top prospect in the upcoming draft . Cooke on the other hand is taking his game over seas to join Oslo next year ! these 2 will be fun to watch forsure ! Stay tuned to see what they will do on team world !
