  1. This is a first for me but I’m gonna give it the old college try . Here’s my first go at power rankings in the VHLE through the first week and a bit of the season . Here we go 1. Cologne Express The Express are on a heater right now , No team can figure out how to stop the Express offensively right now . And it’s the same on the defensive side as well . Teams are having an extremely hard time breaking through and scoring on them . The Express lead the league on goals for and least Goals against . One thing that really stands out to me is the Depth of their scoring the top 4 point getters this season play on the express . GM @leandrofghas put together quite the team this season . Look for them atop the league all season 2. Rome Gladiators While on paper Rome might not look like they have the best roster they are really gelling as a team . Everyone is doing their part collectively to win games and make them competitive every game. Rookie Wann Kerr is leading the way offensively . And Jeremy Swayman is doing his part in Net to help Rome win games this year ! Rome will be a competitive team all year look for them as a team to watch come playoff time ! Look for @Baby Boomerto add at the deadline or sooner for Rome to make the push come playoff time . 3. Bratislava Watchmen Yes I know they are 4th in the standings , but with their team and the depth they have at every position I believe the Watchmen completely deserve to be ranked 3rd . Personally I expected a lot more from this team then what they’ve delivered this far this season . After the draft they made a huge splash aquiring Daryl Dixon and Rick Grimes to help lead their offensive attack . The watchmen have alot more to give . And I don’t think I’m the only one that knows that or expected them to be better then they’ve been this far this season . 4 Stockholm Vikings The Vikings are very solid at every single position. I really struggled ranking the watchmen at 3rd over them because of their sheer depth they have . But at the end of the day I think Bratislava will be a better team. The Vikings have rookie sensation Sadie St Louis leading the way offensively this year with Larry Abass Jr . I do think they have been very promising this year and have shown a lot of flashes of brilliance. It remains to be seen if they will stay consistent and near the top of the standings this season . But as of now they are gonna be another fun team to watch this year. 5. Oslo Storm Far from the renaissance championship team they were last season Oslo has struggled out of the gate offensively this year . With 3 returnee’s on the backend from last season Oslo has however been one of the better Defensive teams in the E this season ! Part of Oslo’s rough start this year has been lack of offence and just plan bad luck and getting snake bitten on chances . They have the talent there they just need to put it all together. If there’s any positives here it’s that they are on a 3 game winning streak and that @JB123has returned as GM of this team if there’s anyone that can figure it out and get this team back on track it’s him 6. Vasteras Iron Eagles @Arce has mad it clear that the eagles are rebuilding and that this will be his last year at the helm of the eagles aswell . All that being said the Eagles are playing way better then I thought they would all things considered. Look for the Eagles to be sellers at the trade deadline to acquire assets to assist with their rebuild . 7. Istanbul Red Wolves Istanbul doesn’t have a bad team offensively or in net with 2 maxed goalies where they struggle is on the backend currently with only 2 defenders. Personally with a couple more defenders I could see this team making a push up the standings . Until then I think they will struggle defensively relying on their 2 defenders 8. Geneva Rush With only 5 players rostered any team is gonna struggle ! One positive is that Geneva has 2 very good goalies they can build around . But as of right now I believe this team is in full rebuild mode building towards a brighter future ! like I said this was my first ever attempt at power rankings so please don’t be too critical I tried my best . Hope you enjoy the read !
  2. Oslo Storm Press Conference Week ending 11/27/2022 1. We’re middle of the pack so far this season what areas could use improvement most ? 2. Jon Webber Jr is on track to become the Storms all time leading scorer this season , does he do it ? 3. If you could have one VHLE player past or present on the team this season who would it be and why ? 4. what road city has the best away locker room and best rink in the VHLE ? 5 . How’s your player doing so far this season ? 6. Christmas is coming up what’s your go to Christmas movie ?
  3. G - Xavier Booberry @Jubis your turn
  4. With the first week of S86 coming to an end Todd Cooke is showing quite a bit of promise and a preview of things too come as his career progresses. Todd Cooke has showed he can be a big time player in both the VHLM and VHLE. In prior seasons . His biggest accomplishment to date was winning the renaissance cup with Oslo in the VHLE last season . Cooke is currently playing for the Stars , Showing he can play wherever they slot him in the lineup ( on the wing as of late ) Cooke is learning what it takes to be a successful forward in this league , more importantly he’s taking in whatever bit of advice and real time experience he can playing with veteran VHL players in LA . Cooke has a lot of work to do and a lot of growth still has to happen but if this start of the season means anything it’s the this Rookie is a Diamond in the rough . With a very bright future in the VHL .
  5. D- Hari Singh Nalwa @Ben mclaughlin you’re up
  6. D - Tavish Degroot you’re up @Jubis
  7. F- Nils godlander @Ben mclaughlin your on the clock

    Games: 19-31

Game 21 recap Riga reign vs HC davos dynamo in a games that couldn’t have been closer the reign and dynamo battled for every inch . No team outright taking full advantage or control of the game . After 3 period they were deadlocked at 2-2 . Overtime solved nothing it wasn’t until the third round of the shootout when the Frenchmen secured the W for the reign . This game turned out to be one of the hardest fought games so far this season .

  10. I’m here L’s not I’s if that helps
  11. Congratulations you guys !! We couldnt think of a better group to lead Oslo into Season 86 on the ice !!
  12. Coming off a successful season 85 the Oslo Storm are ready to see if they can repeat as renaissance champs in Season 86. the management team has been very busy this off season re signing a good chunk of players that chose to stay another year in with the storm down in Oslo . Leading the returnee’s this year will be none other then captain Jon Webber Jr @Webberjjoining him will be Quinn Clark @axtron, Brodie Landry lll @Brodie_Landry , and Hunor Solyom @solyom joining the returning core of Webber , Landry , Clark, and Solyom are an abundance of prospects ready to make the jump from VHLM to VHLE . These prospects are wingers Nikolas Kauppi @TetricideBen McLaughlin @Ben mclaughlinRobert Overmeyer @RobBro34 Defender Jack the Ripper @Ripper And in the Net Alexander Minion @UnknownMinionEach of these prospects have percolated in the VHLM for the past couple of seasons and are looking to take the next step and bring their talents to the Snow Palace in Oslo ! Rounding out Oslo’s roster is Oslo’s big off season acquisition Via trade Sunglasses Joyo @JetsGoalie101, and highly touted S87 draft prospect jumping right into the E Randy Bobandy @AJW, Travis Clark will back minion up in the crease and pistol Pete will round out the forward core. @JB123has really made it his mission to bring Oslo back to the promised land to repeat as renaissance cup champs this coming season. He’s assembled a good defensively sound team. With a good mix of youth and experience . Oslo is definitely on the right track to once again be a contender once the puck drops on Season 86 tomorrow night ! For myself I tried to dive right in and help JB assemble the best possible roster we could to give us a chance at repeating . While trying to keep an open mind and learn as much as I can still , I mean he didn’t just win GM of the year by fluke the knowledge that JB possesses about everything from people to strategies and STHS. To team building and making a family not just a team is amazing I’m blessed to be able to learn everything I can as an AGM from him. while trying to do my part to contribute to Oslo. Lastly I’ll close this media spot with a little bit about Todd Cooke as well , as he gets ready for his rookie season in the VHL. I can only hope I’ve done enough and put in enough work for him to make a positive impact on the Stars team this season . Im gonna turn it over to the people I understand that Simon had a lot to do with things . But what does it take to have a good successful rookie season in your opinion ? What’s a good baseline TPE to enter the league ? What positions generally have immediate success ? And what positions take longer to succeed? As a first gen player and newer member to this amazing community is still trying to absorb as much info as I can and take in all the advice and help I can get . This is something I truly enjoy and want to learn as much as I can to have fun and be competitive. I apologize for the rambling and multiple topic changes but they were all things I felt were relevant to write about before the season begins tomorrow night ! Thank you for reading this media spot ! And please share your input if you feel like it !
  13. Oslo storm press conference week ending 11/20/2022 1. Oslo is looking a lot different then we did last season what do you think is our biggest area of strength going into S86? 2. If we wanna repeat as champs this season what are the keys to success going to be ? 3. what are your goals for your player this year ? 4. did you accomplish your goals for your players last season ? 5. what was the biggest thing you worked on with your player this off season ? 6. who’s the early favourite this year in the VHL ?
  14. The Los Angeles Stars training camp for S86 has come to a close and rookie centre Todd Cooke has been on a mission to make a favourable impression on @InstantRockstarto earn a permanent spot up front for the Stars this season! Cooke came into camp determined and ready to put in the work ! As a rookie Cooke knows he has to work hard everyday and earn every bit of playing time he gets and that just what he plans on doing . Improving his face offs and defensive side of his game were the 2 biggest goals of this offseason and Cooke seems to have accomplished those goals as he seems to be in a good spot to begin what looks to be a long successful career in the VHL with LA . All off season long Cooke hummed and hawed about potentially re rolling and re tooling his game . But as Camp came to a close he decided to stick to what made home successful in both the VHLE and VHLM the past 2 seasons . Todd Cooke is ready a raring to go ! LETS GO STARS !
  15. None of our success in S85 was possible without you guiding the ship ! It’s been awesome to learn from you and grow as an AGM
  16. Well deserved @Tetricideis a stand up individual !
  17. As S86 training camp gets underway S84 draftee Todd Cooke looks to make a favourable impression and impact with the Los Angeles Stars! Cooke has been spending the off season training trying to get ready to put himself in the best possible position to succeed in LA during his rookie year ! “ I’ve spent a lot of time in the gym and on the ice working on my strength and conditioning as well as my game . “ Cooke said in a statement when he was asked about his off season preparations. Expectations Cooke looks to play in whatever role the Stars put him in . He said he will look to contribute and make an impact wherever he plays and whatever role he plays ! Giving 100% ever night ultimately trying to work his way up the lineup earning whatever playing time he gets along the way ! “ Nothing is ever given , you have to Earn it each and every step of the way ! And that’s exactly what I plan on doing.” Cooke couldn’t be happier to join a Stars team on the rise ! It will be interesting to see where he ends up fitting in the lineup throughout the season. Coming into the season the Stars are getting a guy that try’s to contribute on both sides of the ice as a two way forward ! Cooke has had success in both the VHLM and the VHLE , recently winning the renaissance cup in S85 with Oslo! Cooke will look to bring the experience he gained from the VHLE AND VHLM into the VHL in his rookie season . Reservations I’m his training Cooke always try’s to seek experience and knowledge from management and other players so he can be successful with that being said he hopes that he’s put in enough work to contribute in the VHL immediately! I guess really the reservation Cooke has is he is hoping he’s ready for the jump the the Stars ! Hoping he can put everything he’s worked on together this season. Cooke is known to be a slower starter but as he gets experience and comfortable throughout the season he is known to turn it around and begin to earn his keep in the lineup and produce offensively and defensively . one thing is forsure once he gets his feet wet Cooke looks to have a successful rookie season in the VHL as a member of the Stars building that into a successful career in the VHL in the future ! This rookie season will be an interesting one with its share of ups and downs forsure ! Hopefully more ups then downs .
  18. I kinda drew a blank for the most part this week for a media spot so I’m going to talk about a few random things. First off Todd Cooke is getting geared up for his first season in the VHL he’s currently trying to get as much TPE as possible before the start of the season to put himself in the best possible position to make an impact with the Stars this coming season. Cooke wants to continue to develop into a reliable two way center with a little more of an offensive upside. Recently I’ve signed an extension to remain in LA for the next 2 seasons I’m extremely excited to see what @InstantRockstar has in mind to build off a successful season last year ! I can’t wait to see what’s in store and what the future holds in LA. Meanwhile down in the VHLE @JB123 and myself are trying to build off of a championship season in Oslo last year . With quite a few players moving up to the VHL in S86 we are looking for the right pieces to add to our exhausting foundation we have to remain competitive for years to come . The ultimate goal is to repeat as the S86 renaissance cup champs. While there is a lot of work to do to get there I truly believe we can get back there with the right plan and pieces put in place . Personally for myself I’m hoping Cooke has a successful rookie season and can contribute immediately in LA with the Stars and help them in their quest to win a championship! Management wise I want to take a step forward and learn as much as I can to expand my knowledge of this league and community, and ultimately help take Oslo back to the top of the VHLE ! Enough talk about myself and my player . I wanna hear your opinion on what the best route is to get to the VHL . In my short time in this league I’ve noticed that most first gen players usually always play 1-2 full seasons in the VHLM then the same in the VHLE , before ultimately moving up . Now my question is do you try and stockpile as much tpe as possible before making the jump or do you make the jump as soon as you can and build up your player that way ? Some guys don’t make the VHL till their 3rd or 4th season but some jump right in . ( I know most of those are recreates) . I guess really it depends on your goals and the pace you earn at since everyone is different and works at a different pace ! To piggy back off that last column when’s the best time to recreate ? Do you ride you player out till seasons end ? Or do you do it right at the deadline to maximize your potential tpe going into the your draft year ? Again this is kind of a catch 22 and all depends on the pace you earn your tpe and everything . i tried to make this as fluid as possible and make as much sense as possible so my apologies if this was harder to read then normal !
  19. Free week 5 uncapped tpe Doubles week
  20. Following a very successful stop in Oslo with the storm in S85 Todd Cooke is looking to take his game to the big leagues with the LA Stars of the VHL signing an extension that will take him to the end of S87. Cooke looks to bring his well rounded 2 way game to the Stars looking to earn every minute of playing time he can . While playing in whatever role they designate him . LA looks poised to build off their season last year and work towards making the playoffs and winning a cup ! Cooke is both nervous and excited for his Rookie VHL season . More then anything he’s ready to finally get things going and try to help the Stars be successful however he can ! All in all this Rookie can’t wait to get things going , and to start building towards a successful VHL career ! Stay tuned folks you’ll wanna keep tabs on this kid throughout the season LETS GO STARS !
  21. Press Conference week ending 06/11/2022 1. we won the renaissance cup ! How will you be celebrating this off season ? 2. what’s your plans this off season ? Vacation ? Train ? 22. Finals game 6 recap ! las Vegas was on the brink of elimination and not getting the job done for the 3 peat . Philly was looking to close things out in 6 and win the founders cup ! After a close 1st period Philly grabbed the game by the horns and never looked back beating Vegas 6-3 final . Bringing home the founders cup and ending the aces quest for a 3 peat! Congrats to both teams it was a hell of a series !!
