Can the start of the regular season actually be any better for the Vancouver Wolves? Not missing a beat after winning the cup the team has simply put up a modest 12-0-1 having everyone else around the league wondering when will Vancouver lose in regulation? What has gone right for the team and is there anything that the team could improve? Either way we are back with another press conference, so answer three questions for one TPE or all six for two TPE. 1. Not to sound silly here but did anyone expect us to start the season 12-0-1? What has been the biggest surprise been so far in the new season? Why?

 

 

 

 

 

2. Nezuko @Baozi steps straight into the team and leads the wolves in points; was this expected when Nezuko @Baozi first signed in Vancouver or did you expect them to take time building chemistry with their new line mates?

 

 

 

 

 

3. Is there any question around who our current MVP has been this season? Who do you think it is and why?

 

 

 

4. Our two rookies, Wann Kerr @VattghernCZ and Jens Lekman @Bobcat have now played a dozen games in the VHL; How would you rate them in the first dozen games?

1. Sometimes a change of scenery in a locker room and new faces on the team can make all the difference.

2. Sometimes a player needs a new horizon. So that's what Nezuko found with the Wolves. A new message to bring. 

3. The MVP is an honorable title when a player leads by example and that's all Nezuko does! I agree with that.

4. I know the two young men here well. We were all on the road to Rome. We were able to show interest in the wolves and here we are. I am confident in them. I hope I don't disappoint in the net.

5. Even though Fuhr is excelling right now, I think we should give him a break. Too much use of a goalkeeper can sometimes be the end of a good climb

As an assistant to the director in Rome. I must apologize for having opted you a 3rd consecutive defeat of this curse. You get so far every time and your character shows it after every game. You are one of the elite and we are happy to have you in Rome. We may not have won the cup this season but it was our best season in a long time. You can be proud of this achievement because you made a team that was often in the bottom of the standings at the top of their form. You are a model for the youth who will follow the path of Rome and as I say since my arrival as AGM. All roads lead to Rome. 

Now I can answer as Jeremy Swayman. As a teammate! I'm glad I got to play with Wann Kerr. You often found the offense to score and were able to be part of the results that can often save games. Our best strategy tactic was the confidence in our group that allowed us to go far. Don't regret your experience because you proved that Wann Kerr is not to be taken lightly. And you have a proof of your experience if we watch every game. I would say you were 60% in the 3 stars at the end of every game. This shows your involvement and experience in every game. Thanks again Wann Kerr for this season.
