Hulk smash a forward for the Houston Bulls has been having a solid season so far. Hulk has mentioned how having fun has been a big part of his VHLM season thus far. His line has been clicking on all cylinders and he’s been clearly having a blast on the ice. It’s been super easy to have fun out there when you know you got one of the top goalies in the minors right now.
Currently the Bulls are tied for 2nd but they want to be first. We are currently lacking some active defenders to help out our goalie even more. Whatever we can do in the future to make his job easier also makes our jobs easier to win games.
When Hulk was asked about how the team can improve a bit more and take the top seed he said all the bulls gotta do is take the games a bit more serious but really there is no need to stop the fun now as long as they are ready to play their best hockey come playoff time then they will be fine. Hulk is confident the Bulls can win it all this season and has total confidence in the GM staff to make sure they do what they can to make us win games. -

For the Week Ending Mar 24th, here are your questions!1. The season has started! Through the first week of sims, how has your player been performing? I have been pretty happy with Smashs production. As an undrafted player i think he has been doing great.
2. Houston has been playing some good hockey to kick start our season. What has been your player's go to pre-game meal/routine/ritual to get ready to play each game? Taco BEll
3. On the road can be a bore with all the travel time and just sitting around. When the team hops on the team bus or jet for games, what keeps you busy while traveling? I usually partake in a sim basketball league i am a part of called the SBA i spend my time updating my player and creating graphics.
4. If you remember last week I asked how you think we would play in the first 10 games. Fast forward and we finished 6-4! What has been keeping us above a .500 record so far? Our outstanding goaltender has been helping. Our coach/gm has also been good to us.
5. Houston needs defence! We left the draft only securing two and it shows on the stat sheet as our current defenders play a lot of minutes. Should management start considering trades? Should we wait until trade deadline? Should we hope for a waiver to sign? What would you do to sign another defender for the team? We will obviously hope to luck into the waiver wire but maybe the trade market could be the answer.
6. Tell me something funny about growing up playing hockey (or make something up for your player). I remember when I was growing up playing I was at my teammate's house on the lake and they shovel the ice to skate on it. We were a little too excited to get started and the ice wasn't fully solid yet. I fell right through about 2 feet deep of water and was soaked.
All my stories are sorta inside jokes so most wouldnt find it too funny but it was funny when one of our defenders shit his clothes in middle school.

2. A trade was made last week! Charlie klepacki @chuck.hockey7 and Elf shoes @ELF_SH0ES join the team to create more of a core to our S94 roster. What should these two players know about Houston? What is something you want to tell the newcomers? Hello I am also a newcomer excited to play with them.
3. Herald Benson @Benson is CAPPED! A 200 TPA goaltender to start the season will help Houston a lot. What did it feel like for your player to finally hit the 200 VHLM TPA cap? Was it faster/slower than you expected? It’s been a long while since I hit 200 tpe here lmao
4. Houston holds a 2nd round pick and two 4th round picks in the top 4 rounds of this draft. You could probably guess it but management is not relying on this draft, instead relying on the new members who join in weekly, waiver players. What in your eyes is the BEST kind of waiver player to walk through the door? Do they need to be a team player and active in the locker room? Do they just need to earn max TPE weekly? Maybe they have to have a lot of money to feed my gambling addiction? You found him! No one drafted me and now you signed me on. Seems like a good deal to me.
5. The sun has been shining in my city lately and I think I'm getting a better liking for the season of spring. What is your favourite season? Personally I enjoy the heat of summer, having a pool or a lake close by is ideal. Summer I really enjoy going out in boat and heading to my cabin! And of course cod jigging
6. On the topic of seasons changing, St. Patrick's Day is coming up! Do you celebrate the day? My university will be celebrating hard on Saturday and I will more than likely be joining. i don’t really drink much these days but I definitely smoked my fair share of weed that day.

Somehow the new player in the league Hulk Smash went undrafted. After coming into the league as a prospect Smash somewhat disappeared from the headlines. Hulk has been caught leaving practice early almost daily. Apparently General Managers took note of the lack of practice Hulk was doing. After realizing he isn’t just going to walk into the league dominating Smash has been stepping his game up in the training rooms and on the ice. Fortunately for Hulk Smash he wasn’t out for the count as he had gotten two offers post draft to sign on as a free agent in the VHLM. Hulk decided he wanted to go play for Houston. The Bulls general manager hit it off with Smash right away liking what he brought to the table. He even joined a fantasy basketball league Hulk was a part of. Now that Hulk is going to be playing at a competitive level he has no choice but to keep the work going and do what he knows he can do. Play good hockey.
We are looking forward to seeing what Hulk will have in store for the Bulls. Hopefully he shows his true potential and helps the bulls win a championship! -

4. The ASG will be in Halifax this season. Who do you think should be going this season? Lim Jahey thats for sure its in his home province everyone from sunnyvale will be there to cheer him on.
5. What team would like like to play for in the future? The team that drafted me silly
6. Have you ever told anyone IRL about VHL? If not do you think anyone you know would enjoy the league? Did you know you can earn TPE when anyone you invite to the league earns milestone TPE marks? Just inviting people? Ive tried to bring buddies to the sim leagues but they dont want to do the work to build a decent player. -
The beginning of the VHLM season has been going pretty good for Lim he currently has 7 points in just 4 games. 6 Assists and one goal. Jahey been passing the puck to the right guys at the right time its been working out for him in that department. Heres a quote from Lim on how hes feeling with the start of the season.
" Well fuck its been going pretty good i been just wracking up the apples but havent really been scoring much myself. I have lots of time to figure out my slump in that regard but for now im happy saucing the puck to the boys every game its been fun being back on the ice and away from the liquor"
Miami is currently 2-1-1 in a three way tie for second place. Jahey will be looking to improve as the season goes on. Hes currently having fun on the ice and you can tell hes meshing with his teamates hopefully he can stay out of trouble and keep his focus on what hes good at the game of hockey.

Lim Jahey has been missing for quite some time now apparently he was on a major drinking binge and ended up arrested for public urination and assaulting police officer George Green. Lim never had any money left from his VHLM contract after blowing it all on booze so he ended having to do time in prison. But Moscows gm managed to find out where Jahey was and made contact reaching out to get a contract figured out. With this contract being signed it has given Lim the money to bail himself out and now he will dedicate his free time to getting back to VHL form and getting back to practice. It will take some time and patience but some have faith that Jahey can become at least a decent VHL player by the end of his career. Maybe not the player he hoped to become before the scandal/disapearance but hes gunna do the best he can.

1. In the first round of the S93 VHLM playoffs, Houston defeated the Las Vegas Aces in 5 games to advance to the second round. What are your thoughts on this series and our wins?
I think we done an amazing job shitting on Las Vegas we dominated.
2. Winning one round doesn't get you a trophy! In the second round we face the top team in the league, the Ottawa Lynx. How does it feel going into this series as underdogs? What are Houston's true chances of winning this series and advancing to the finals? We are buzzing right now we had a real good end to our season and I feel like we can take any team down right now
3. Playoff hockey is known to be a lot different from regular season hockey. With more physicality, competitiveness, and hunger to win, what is your favourite part of playoff hockey? The physicality is my favorite part everyone is playing their best hockey it’s fun to watch
4. Some drafts will be coming up after this season! The VHL, VHLE and VHLM will all be holding drafts... have you been interviewed by GMs of other teams yet? Have you put any thought into your draft stock lately? If you have already been drafted, what team are you playing for next season? Nah no gms reached out to me but I’m not worried I came into the VHLM undrafted so I wouldn’t be mad if it happed in the VHL as well
5. In these VHLM playoffs, we are currently facing Ottawa. In the other series, Saskatoon faces Halifax. Who do you predict to win the other series? Saskatoon or Halifax? I feel like Halifax will come out on top. The cape Bretoners in the stands will make it tough for any away teams!
6. I am finally on summer vacation! I just finished my second year of school after taking two years off. What should I do this summer? What do you like to do during your summer? Any fun things for me to try or do? I just got back from Florida and engaged to my girlfriend had an awesome time I suggest going somewhere on a trip and just relax and have a good time!
