Vice got a reaction from Tetricide in Nikolas Kauppi - Officially Retired
Reviewing this!
First off, congratulations on your players retirement! Having just started my 2nd character only recently, its just as fun the 2nd time around time too! Your graphic has a great foundation for what I would call a 'social media' graphic, like it would be posted to a teams socials or something. The jersey swap is good and I do appreciate you using your layering there with the logo. I recommend maybe adding a layer beneath some of the text in a secondary color to give it a little depth. Also maybe physically separate the stats away from the rest of the graphic with like, just a a square around the stats. Great start! 8.5/10

Vice reacted to Tetricide in Nikolas Kauppi - Officially Retired
Nikolas Kauppi is my first-generation player, and I gotta say...I'm proud of what I built. Played 2 seasons in the M, 1 in the E, and the rest all in Prague for the VHL. Had a crazy sophomore slump and was denied the Funk trophy the following season by one vote (yeah I'm still hurt by it ). Continued to be ~80 point producer up until this season. I'll add it up to the slider changes that were implemented, but I'm not complaining. I'm just happy he was finally able to break the 100 point barrier and basically do cartwheels on the ice. I originally intended him to be a power forward, but his hits pale in comparison to those who have a more gritty build. Despite no individual awards (probably not this season either, but I'm not waiting to find out before posting this), Kauppi was a part of Oslo's back-to-back Renaissance Cup wins as well as Prague's first ever Continental Cup. I created Bobbus Dingus, an interviewer who had a strange friendship with Kauppi. I make more graphics than articles, but who's to say Bobbus won't be back for my Thorvaldsson era... It's bitter-sweet as I close out the final chapter of Kauppi, but now it's time for him to retire and learn how to use a 9 iron.

Welp, I wish the post-season went a bit better, but regardless our top 3 guys on the Bulls really broke out from the pack, did a little graphic to commemorate
Offseason Stats:
Player Name GP G A P (93) LW - Filip Zinek 12 8 9 17 (94) C - Johnny Tsunami 12 9 7 16 (93) D - Ray Stanton 12 1 13 14
Wasn't for a lack of effort, that's for sure. @FiZi@horoscope

Vice reacted to LucyXpher in Halifax 21st SuperSailor #7 (S93 Playoffs Round 2): Maple Dogwood
Though it was an unfortunate end to the season for the Halifax 21st, there was lots to remain positive about as the team clawed their way back into the series after being down 2-0. A huge part of that resurgence by the 21st was owed to the play of Maple Dogwood @dogwoodmaple, who claims the SuperSailor honor for the second time this season. With 8 points in the series against the Wild, including 6 points in Halifax's game 3 and 4 wins, Dogwood was an offensive force. Though he was held off the scoresheet in the opening two games of the series, he arrived in style with 3 points each in games 3 and 4, while recording a single point in games 5 and 6. Ultimately, the 21st would succumb to penalty troubles, allowing 5 powerplay goals on 14 penalties in games 5 and 6. For his part, Dogwood once again led the team in points with 13 through the first two rounds of the playoffs (6 goals and 7 assists). He also led the team with 61 shots on goal.
For the 21st who came into the season with great optimism for a chance to win their first ever Founder's Cup, their unfortunate playoff exit stings. The team had strong belief in their group to go all the way and with the mix of talent they had, it was one of their best opportunities in recent memory to capture the league’s top honor. With potentially 6 players returning next season, including goaltender Jon Webber III @Webberj (who set a new franchise mark for playoff shutouts) and up-and-comers Dorji Khan @Oddpurplefly, Robin Sierra @ethanjaeda, and Ty Duke @TheDuke, the 21st have the potential to be back in the hunt next season. The draft cupboard isn't exactly stocked to the brim for this offseason's redispersal draft, but with the availability of players through waivers, the opportunities could be there for the team to ice a contending team for a second straight season.
For Dogwood, the next stop will likely be the VHLE as he expects to be drafted this offseason. Look for Dogwood to be among the top wingers taken in the S94 VHL and VHLE drafts as he had an outstanding regular season and playoffs for the 21st and projects to be a reliable and dynamic offensive player for seasons to come. Though it's a bitter loss and a season cut short, the Halifax 21st are proud to once again announce Maple Dogwood as their SuperSailor.

Vice got a reaction from AJW in Houston Bulls Press Conference
1. Houston is on fire! With two games remaining in the season we are riding an 11 game win streak and look to fight till the end for 1st in the Western Conference. We have 94 points in 70 games, Saskatoon has 92 points in 69 games... Can Houston win the West this season?
Not to sound too hopeful enough to jinx us but I did say cup or bust when I got here. I still stand by my words.
2. How did you enjoy this season?... Was Houston a good fit for your player's development? Was this VHLM environment a fun one to be in? Is there anything you would like to suggest?
Oh yeah! I joined Houston hoping to fill a hole that I saw and it turns out that so far I was correct on that call!
3. What was your favourite part of this season?... Did you love watching yourself get drafted in the off-season? Did you enjoy any player success? Did you enjoy our team success the most?
As always playing in the M is very fun and always the biggest joy. Getting to see that quick spike from bad to good is always well worth it.
4. With the season coming to a finish, who was our team's MVP?
Honestly, hard to say considering I got here halfway through the season...I defer to the rest of the team on this.
5. The NHL playoffs are underway and my Jets are making me stress already. Is your team in these playoffs? Who are you cheering for?
Panthers all the way!
6. The NBA playoffs are underway as well and the MLB just started their season. Do you watch other sports outside of the NHL? I usually only do when playoffs come around.
Not really, unless a Florida team makes it really far I don't really watch.
