Another week has gone by, and we've officially entered a full selling mode with one week before the trade deadline. With a majority of you moving on from Halifax next season (either via graduation or single-season contract expiring), would you like to see yourself moved to a contender, or would you like to take advantage of the more available ice time? (Or anything in between!) 2. Halifax 21st alumni @Horcrux started a league movie night server on Discord a couple weeks ago in an effort to foster a nice community relationship. What percentage of completion would you say you are at? 4. Speaking of Christmas and the holidays, the VHL is celebrating with a Bonanza and a charity auction! Welcome @james6161! My name is Jardy, and I'm the assistant General Manager of the VHLM's Halifax 21st. I'm a little short on time right now so I'll have to keep this pitch brief, but we'd love for you to join us for the rest of the season! Unfortunately, things haven't gone our way this season, and our GM is deciding to sell much of what we have in place this season and rebuild. This will almost certainly mean we won't be a playoff team. The flip side, however, is that you will have lots of ice time and opportunity to produce and put up some solid pre-draft numbers! We also will still have folks in the locker room to chat with and help you out with anything you need. If this sounds good to you, just quote this post with some kind of form of acceptance or a witty hashtag! Welcome once again, and good luck with your new career.

We had a suggestion drive around the time you joined, maybe a bit before, and one of the common things that was brought up was punching up the Player Store a bit. I hope we're able to do that eventually, though I imagine it isn't exactly a priority issue.

I'll be honest, we've been having an absolutely dreadful season! We're performing below expectations, and have an irritating habit of losing extremely close games. This has us outside of a playoff spot as we approach the halfway point of the season, but we've made some moves and have shown signs of turning things around, and we think you could help that process out! Contract-wise, all the offers you'll receive are standardized; you will get $1.5M to play for the remainder of this season, after which you will enter the VHLM Dispersal Draft and most likely land on a different team for next season. What we can offer you specifically is guaranteed 3rd line minutes, with ample opportunity to move into a Top 4 pairing. We have an awesome group of people on our team. Some are new members like yourself who you can grow and develop with throughout the season, while some bring a more veteran presence and can help you out with whatever you need (which of course is something myself or real GM @Minion can do as well).
