1. Back to competing for first in the EU like we should be! Which of Europe’s top teams is our biggest threat as of now? Prague as always! Another purple team, got a great team like us. 2. How would you describe your player in one word? Intensity. 5. What is the story behind your player’s name? I wanted a french name, Champagne is only made in France and Alfred I don't know I was watching Gotham and I use Mr.Pennyworth first name. 6. Which NHL team do you think Patrick Kane will sign with? Sign or play for? It will be a sign and trade, maybe with MTL who have some cap space to retain some money, and go to like Florida, Buffalo or New York (again). 7. What is your most anticipated upcoming video game for next year? I don't game as much as I want, but I want to play the second game of Jedi. 8. Do you have any plans for the upcoming holiday season? Nothing more than usual haha! Christmas party in my family and the one of my girlfriend. Only this time we will have a dog and a baby with us!

1. In your opinion, what is the least important attribute overall in the VHL in terms of building your player (besides LD)? If you don't intend to fight, then fighting is the easy choice. After that faceoffs if not a center and lastly Speed maybe? 2. If given the choice, would you make each VHL season longer or shorter? Why? I think 72 games is enough, not sure why someone would want it longer lol. I think it's a good balance at the moment. 4. How many goals do you think your player could score in a season with a wooden stick? He have 20 in 26 games this season. So maybe half? I can't see how he scored them so hard to say which one would not go in with another stick. 5. Who would you consider your player’s rival? I would say Phil Strasmore. Same draft as me and he's fighting a lot like me. 6. What jersey number does your player wear? 77. Like it with the same number twice. 7. What was the last movie you watched? Tyler Rake 2. Lot of action, some silly scenes like every movie, but good enough for me.

1. With the first few sims under our belts, it’s already a tight race in the EU. What can we do strategically to win more games and bounce back? Better production from our depth players. Can't blame our goalie, but having a Cup playoffs performances would really help us. 2. Who is your early Davos MVP candidate? Maybe the only time it would feel right to say me 4. How long have you been a member of the VHL? Has anything changed significantly about the league since you joined? Last year I think? Hard to say what are the big chances, I don't follow the league that much. 6. Are you participating in Super Coach this season? Yes I found it more fun than the VHLF. 7. Which VHL, VHLE, or VHLM team has the weakest branding in your opinion? Hard question! Riga, Moscow and Malmo are not really good in my opinion, but I can't say that it's ugly. 8. Do you have any plans for your next player yet? Maybe? Don't know yet if it will be a defender or a forward. Probably be more defensive oriented.

Good as always boys! I was disappointed by myself don't worry about that! Good to finally produce and help the team offensively. Hope I will be able to get 75 points again, we have another solid offensive core this season.

1. My fellow Davids, S91 is upon us! What do you expect from this core of players? Get back to the final! We were close again to a back to back, but we still have a great team and I think we can beat anybody in this league. 2. Going into this season, which team do you believe will be our biggest rival? Ask anybody on our team, everyone will tell you that Prague is our biggest rival. 3. What will your player be dressing up as for Halloween? In a cook! The hat, the mustache, (fake) knife and some accessories to have something really nice! 4. How do you feel about the VHL trivia system? Should it be overhauled or changed in any way? I'm using it, don't know how we can changed it, but I find it interesting and not really long to do. 5. Are you participating in VHFL this season? No, I find it hard to have time to do it in like 2 days lol 8. What is your favorite type of candy? Gummies! Everyone of them lol

1. The offseason is a little slow this time around: what are you doing to pass the time? Take care of my newborn daughter. It's enough lol 2. We are going all in with a blockbuster draft day trade for Leandro Goncalves! How do you think he will contribute to the core of our offense? He will fit really well in our team and will be an important piece of our offense. I'm sure he will do well and maybe help me get another great season. 4. Predict our scoring leader for next season! Probably Jake Thunder or the new comer Leandro Goncalves. 5. What is your opinion on fighting in hockey? Staple of the sport or something that should be phased out? We're seing less fighters, everyone can play hockey so that way we have not players that are only there to fight. I think it's part of the game and we shouldn't banned them completely. 6. Have you been a part of sim leagues before the VHL? Yes GM sim league where you control a team and not only your player (10+ years). I'm also in the SHL. 8. What was the last book you read? A book about how to be a dad hahaha!

1. We have made some huge splashes this off-season already with two trades! Do you have any thoughts on these moves? We are going at it again! Not over yet for Davos, we can win it again! 2. To our new players, welcome to Davos! How do you feel about playing for this organization? For our returning players, what is one thing our new members should know about the team? Davos is really a nice place to play and to WIN! The locker room is fun and we are always competitive. 3. Are you pleased with how your player performed individually this past season? How can I say no to this question? After 3 bad years, I finally have a season worth of my potential. 5. Should depreciation be less harsh on players? YES! It's my first year in regression and 110 tpe less will really hurt. 7. What are your first impressions on Connor Bedard’s first few NHL games? He got the shot to be lethal, his speed is really good but he's small so we'll see on the long run what will happen. 8. Would you rather attend a concert or a sporting event live? I would say a sporting event. We got to feel the pressure and the excitement of the crowd and the players.

1. When the VHL playoff sims happen, do you check individual game scores first or go straight to the playoff bracket section? The game first! That way I can see if my player did good or not firstly. After that the score of the series. 3. Who should be considered our “Most Improved Player” this season? Me lol! First time getting the point per game and a 30 goals season. Lot of penalties and fights, but they are part of the game too! 4. Which shot is more difficult for a goaltender to stop: a wrist shot or a slapshot? I think a wrist shot get you more precision so you can choose where to shot the puck. 5. The NHL regular season is finally upon us! Who are you cheering for? Pittsburgh is my team, but I follow the Canadiens too because they are almost in my city. 7. Who is your all-time favorite athlete? (doesn’t have to be hockey-related!) Since Crosby entered the QMJHL, I've followed his career and I can say that he's been the best player to play in junior and NHL that I've seen live. 8. Do you collect anything (trading cards, vinyls, games, etc.)? Not really, don't like buying stuff hahaha! I have some hockey cards, but nothing too valuable.

1. We have broken another record-long drought by securing the Victory Cup! Will we continue our curse-breaking streak? Why not? We have the team to win it all so we can do it! 3. Spooky season is upon us now that it’s October! What will your player do to celebrate Halloween this year? By doing a little party with some teammates. The family is still in France so friends have priority in this time of the year. 4. Predict how many Davos players will take home awards this offseason! If we win the Continal Cup, can I say everyone? 5. What were your player’s stats to end the season? 35 goals, 40 assists, 75 points, 384 shots, 237 PIM, and 288 hits - all career high! 7. Are you interested in playing the new Mortal Kombat game? I don't play the game since I don't own a console, so that's not likely that I will try it. 8. What is the first song that comes up when you shuffle your playlist? The entire playlist of NHL 2004. So much good songs!

What a great season we had!

1. Already near the end of the S90 regular season! Will we secure the Victory Cup?! I really hope we can reproduce our playoffs run like last season! We can win it again! 2. Why do people keep underestimating the power of DAVID? I wish I knew. Too bad for them, won't win their predictions 3. If your player could win one VHL award, which would it be and why? The MVP of the season is the best award in my opinion. So I would go with this one, but the Victory Cup is the only one that matter. 4. Imagine that you have been put in charge of adding a new team to the league! What would your ideal VHL team be named and what would its logo look like? Bring back a team in Québec! With the same logo 6. Alfred Champagne has crushed his previous season high in points! How would you describe the impact he’s made on the team this season? Like he's finally doing something hahaha! Wish he was able to produce like that in the previous season, but it's really good to see how he's going in S90. 7. Which point task is your favorite out of: media spots, graphics, and podcasts? I don't do graphics nor podcast, so will go with media spots lol 8. Is there anything about the VHL that still confuses you or that you have questions about? Not really no. Not that complicated after a while, but at first yeah.

A bit too much penalties to my liking, but well it will do since my offensive stats are following my penalty minutes lol @Spartan partan : Not because that I only won 3 of them that I lost the 7 others Draw exist too! @Alex : Violence is not what I would choose 100% of the time, but I kinda like the progression of my player.

1. We have been crushing it as of late! Will we catch up to Prague by the end of the season?! I really hope so! Can't say what changed 25 games ago, but man we've been in fire lately and I don't want it to stop. 3. In your opinion, what was the most shocking trade of the deadline? It's not a trade that shocked me, is that we didn't make one 5. Do you feel Connor Bedard will live up to the hype after his preseason outings with the Chicago Blackhawks thus far? I don't think he will get Crosby number, but around 70-80 pts should be doable for him. 6. Do you participate in any fantasy sports (hockey, football, basketball, etc.)? Not really, I got a fantasy with some friend, but I don't do fansaty in other sports. 7. What is your favorite guilty pleasure food? Poutine with pulled pork and BBQ sauce. 8. What is your dream car? Audi R8. Don't really know why, it's just when I see one (one time in real life I think?) I'm like yooo I want one!

1. We are halfway through the season! Any thoughts about our performance thus far? The start of the season was tough for us, but was expected after our Cup win. But now we are doing great and back for the first place race. 4. Who do you predict will be the VHL’s top scorer at the end of this season? Todd Cooke will be really hard to pass at the top, considering LA are first in their division and he have a 7 pts lead. 5. Do you believe putting TPE into leadership has any effect on the sim engine? Since nobody have points in it, I don't think it will have an effect in our league (except if they put like 50 pts in it lol). 6. Would you ever consider GMing or AGMing? Nope, already doing it in another league, don't have time for more. 7. Would you rather fight 1 horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses? One opponnent so often the best option, so I will go with the big one. 8. In the Star Wars universe, would you be part of the Jedi Order or the Sith? The Jedi. I'm a good guy, what more can I say hahaha!

2. What is your player’s preferred number? Personnaly I prefer the #9. I don't care if my player wore the 17 like Anderson do in real life. 3. For graphics, which NHL player represents your player/who is your preferred player render? Just have to look at my profile picture and my signature. My boy Josh Anderson! 4. Which is more crucial to the success of a team: offense or defense? For success it's defense. In my opinion, it's not even close. But it's way more fun for everyone when there is a lot of goals. 6. Will you be buying NHL 24? Until they make it for PC, not gonna happen sadly... 7. What other sports do you watch other than hockey? Tennis from time to time. Formula 1 even if it's not a «sport». Super Bowl obviously and the NBA finals. 8. Have you ever traveled internationally? If so, to what countries? Not yet, but I wish! Probably going to Europe or Scandinavia first.

Point per game so far, first time in my career that it happen so I'm excited to see what I can do in the long term. 4. How do you feel about the VHLE contracting down to 6 teams before this season? Good thing. I've listen to people talking about it so I think it's a good thing for the league in general. 5. How would your player fare if they had to use a wooden stick in a game? Not much of a change haha! Skating and giving body check you don't even need a stick :P 6. Thoughts on Auston Matthews’ extension with the Maple Leafs? I though it would be a bit less, but he got what he wanted. Now he have to win. 7. Do you have an unusual or hidden talent? Not really, I'm a simple guy haha! 8. If you were an animal, what would it be and why? Wolf. Can survive alone, but have more fun in a gang.

Hope we can get another one 2. How did your player celebrate the Cup win over the course of this offseason? Bring the Cup to France, not a lot of players are from there so everyone was happy to see. Party hard obviously! 3. The start of the season brings new expectations! What would you like to see from your player as well as the team? Get more points haha! Not a good performance offensively last season, and so far it's again the same thing. But the team wins so I'm good. 5. Are you participating in VHFL or Super Coach? Super coach only. Try VHLF in the past but sometimes the timing is not good and I don't have time to follow it. 6. Who is your favorite NHL player currently? Crosby was always my favorite since he joined the league because I've seen him in junior and he was always the best on the ice. 7. Are you an early bird or a night owl? Night owl at 100% haha! But that will unfortunately have to change soon when the baby will join us.

I agree with you that Champagne didn't produce offensively as much as I wanted and was expected of him, but at least he was a physical factor in the season and almost a PPG in the playoffs. Maybe with the good players that left in the off-season he will be able to take the next step that is long overdue. I got the worst rank, but I deserve it so no worries, I want him to score as much as you To Frost, good idea like you said in the podcast to write the poem somewhere (maybe here?), so in the future we can read it at the same time as you. 1. Welcome, new and returning members of Davos! The offseason is fully underway. How are you feeling about our roster after all of our trades and signings? I think we will be again one of the best team in the league. Some retirement in our forwards group, but some or ready to take another step (wink wink). 2. As per tradition, what is your bold prediction for this upcoming season? Another Championships for Davos! 3. What are your thoughts on depreciation? That's the worst thing in online leagues, but necessary for the longevity of it. 6. The league turned 16 years old a month ago! What is the key to running a successful sim league? Create a good environnement on the forum and all the others plateformes. Be open to changes in every form. 7. Has your favorite NHL team made any notable FA signings this summer? Pittsburgh got Karlsson from a trade so that's good. They got some depth players like Eller and Smith so they should be able to get back in the playoffs next season. 8. Do you prefer Spotify or Apple Music? Spotify, everything from Apple is trash to me.

A little bit hungover, but after a victory like this, the emotions are all over the place! 2. Now that the offseason has properly begun, how would you reflect on your player’s season individually? Is there anything you would’ve wanted to improve on or see from them? I've improved a lot with my physicality so people begin to respect me. Lot of hits, lot of fights and more block shots than ever. My offensive production take a toll, but we'll get back at it. 3. Have you listened to the latest Ahmacast yet? Not yet, but I will probably do it tomorrow. I know it will be legendary and I want the full experience so I will listen to it in one go. 4. What was a highlight for you this season besides us winning the Cup? The depth of the team. Five forwards with 20 goals with 2 at 40 and two others having at least 35. The arrival of McFleury to help Thunder in defense really helped us. Can't forget our goalie that played over his head again. 6. What will you be doing to keep yourself busy this offseason before S90? Get some sleep, but only after partying with the Cup in France! After that, back to training and this time the offensive will be a priority. With Jones and Leduc leaving the team to retirement, Champagne will have to produce. 7. A huge three-team trade sent Erik Karlsson to the Pittsburgh Penguins! How do you feel about this bold move from Kyle Dubas? Kinda happy! Pitts and Mtl are both my teams and they were involved in it haha! Karlsson will help the Big3 in PIT to keep the winning window open. Wish to see him getting the 100 pts again!

Both had an amazing playoffs run for us, but the stats of Summers in those finals games really give us the victory!

No reason to not participate haha and my player habitually do very well in the tournament (more than here in the VHL...) 3. What is one suggestion you would offer to make the offseason more interesting? More tournament for teams outside of the playoffs or even a IIHF tournament with everyone and include more contries so almost everyone can play. 6. Were you shocked that Vladimir Tarasenko decided to sign with Ottawa? Not really. They loose Debrincat so they needed to bring someone else that can help them offensively to get into the playoffs. 7. Have you watched Barbie or Oppenheimer yet? Or even planning to see them? I've not watched them yet, more hype about Oppenheimer, will probably see Barbie at home just to see but not my type of movie. 8. Do you prefer reading physical books or eBooks? Physical book, the real deal. Don't know how people read false book lol

1. Our first playoff matchup will be against Riga! What is one thing we can do to make sure we secure the series win? Play physical to have the puck more than them and score a lot of goals. The game of hockey is simple haha. 2. What is your player doing on our bye week right now? Doing so meditation and yoga. Train the mind to have a balance with the body. 3. Do you believe the team who wins the Victory Cup is always cursed in the playoffs? Like the NHL, finishing first in the standing doesn't always mean the playoffs will finish with a win. The Bruins got burn last season... 4. Predict the NA conference champion! Seattle was over every other teams in his conference this season, so I predict it will be the same thing during the playoffs. 6. Do you participate in fantasy sports at all? Yeah I got a NHL keeper pool. I don't follow other sports enough to have a pool in them. 8. Debate question incoming: Do you think there are more eyes or legs in the world? Eyes. Even the blind one have still their eyes. There is a lot of accidents where people lost one or both their legs.
