1. Another week down! Is your player performing as you’ve expected them to? Nope! I'm the second best player tpe wise on the team and I'm 4th in scoring. The goals total are okay with 12, but don't know why I can't get more assists. 2. Historically, who do you think is Davos’ biggest rival? I would with Prague or Helsinski from what I learn in the team LR haha! 4. Predict the NA conference champion! Los Angeles are favorite right now, but I think Calgary can challenge them. 6. How has your favorite NHL team fared this season so far? Not that good. Pittsburgh had a really slow start and had the worst PP for a while. Better now but it should have been better form the start. 7. What was the first concert you ever attended? Never been a great fan of going to live concert, but I think my first one was Hollywood Undead or LMFAO. 8. If you could have dinner with three famous people, who would you choose? Bill Gates, Sydney Crosby and Georges St-Pierre.

There was young promising prospect from France that declared his eligibility for the VHLM draft in S84 a bit late, but still managed to get the attention of a few teams that wanted to add a big forward that can skate, hit and score. So Alfred Champagne was a name that circulated a lot in the VHLM GM offices, but it was the San Diego Marlins that picked him at 19th. It was a difficult season in San Diego, and not just for team. Champagne had 9 goals and 19 points in 29 games. So at some point in the season, he was traded with a player that I don't remember the name to the Philadelphia Reapers. With that team, his offensive production really took a next step with 20 goals and 63 points in 43 games. That give him 82 points in 72 games so not that bad. In playoffs he had 4 points in 5 games, but that was not enough to make a long run and won the Cup. After getting drafted in the VHLM, it was the turn of the VHLE to give him a chance. The Bratislava Watchmen used the 7th selection to grab him, the highest Champagne goes in the 3 drafts. His season overall was not that great, but he still managed to get 23 goals and 47 points in 72 games. Again not a point per game player in the playoffs, but that was close with 5 points in 7 games. Again no championship, but not a bad performance. In the VHL, it was the Prague Phantoms who got the lucky number and picked the big forward at 11th overall. After only one season being a property of the team (while playing in the VHLE), the Phantoms traded him to the Calgary Wranglers. Alfred was ready to play in the North America conference, but only after a few days after the trade, he received another call from his agent saying that he got traded. He's going back to Europe to play for the HC Davos Dynamo! That's where he will play his next 6 seasons in the VHL and win the Continental Cup in S89 and win two Victory Cup in S90 and S91. With Davos, he got 149-161-310 in 432 games, 89- PIM, 1450 shots, 1641 Shots, 177 SB and 24 GWG. In playoffs, he's sitting at 6th in the team history for points with 25-32-57 in 79 games. Not as much as the legends Thunder, Mitchell and Teekirque, but as a secondary role I think it's not bad! Now playing with Warsaw to give them a change to get into playoffs, he got so far 10-7-17 in 25 games. A bit less than what he made in the last seasons with Davos, but he entered regression so that didn't help and Warsaw have some difficulties to score so far, but we'll get there! Will probably recreate after the next season, don't know what type of player yet, but hoping to have fun like I did with Champagne

2. Get another chance to win the Cup. We had a though start in Warsaw and I think we are better than that. Will still have next season too. 3. Same as I use everywhere haha! 4. Since the start of Champagne career! It's my first one so yeah. 5. I want to keep them. I think it's part of the sport, but I agree that in junior we should not have them. 7. None are drinkable wtf hahaha! 8. Lots of souvenirs from past travels with my parents, can name one I have too much of them!

Are you participating in VHFL, Super Coach, or both this season? Super coach only. I don't follow the league that much and the timer make it difficult for me to do the VHLF. 2. What keeps you motivated to earn TPE every week? It took me like 10 min to do it so not that much time. I don't max earn yes, but I don't mind. 4. What is your favorite type of point task to do? Press conference like this! Fun to write about different topics. 6. Do you collect anything (trading cards, action figures, games, etc.)? Not really. I don't like to buy things I will not use. I have some hoickey cards, but not worth much. 7. Thoughts on the recent Jamie Drysdale/Cutter Gauthier trade? Good for both. Drysdale will have a good opportunity to be the offensive QB and Gauthier will play for a team with great prospects. USA players shouldn't be able to choose who they are playing for, but that's another topic. 8. Do you speak more than one language? If so, what languages? French is my first language! I only know 2 and it's enough haha!

Thanks for the good words both of you! I would have like you, prefer to have that kind of success earlier in my career to help more Davos, but this is it. Hope the rebuild will be good in Davos, maybe my next player will be able to play there again

1. What were your recent holiday plans and how did they go? It was good! My family was happy to see my little baby 2. Warsaw is going in this season, expectations? We can be a dark horse in the playoffs and try to make our way 3. Any welcoming words for the incoming players? I'm one of them haha but I just hope that we can make some noise on the ice and not just by making trades. 4. What is arguably the best snack, movie, or activity in your mind for the holidays? Nothing really specific, do what your family likes and what make everyone happy is what's important. 5. Was it a white Christmas where you were at? Surprisingly no. We have some snow in Quebec in December but not this year. Very strange (or sad even lol) 6. Did you win/compete in the holiday auction, if not what items looked somewhat intriguing? Well I've posted each day to try to win, not sure if the winners are knows yet? Didn't even see the prizes lol where are they?

1. Well. Our playoffs didn’t end the way we hoped. What do you believe we could learn about this experience for next season? Nothing really! We had a really good team and my player completly disappear during those playoffs so I take part of the blame. 2. Will you be participating in the Pro Am? There is a good chance yes. It's just for fun and normally I'm doing good in that tournament. 4. What is your player’s plans for the holidays? Eat, drink, visit family and hopefully be able to skate a bit outside! 5. The only one I play at the moment, don't have time for another with the baby haha! 7. Do you prefer watching TV shows or movies? Movies! 1. Another regular season has concluded and onto the playoffs! How would you describe our regular season performance in one word? My best so far! So close to get the 40 goals it sucks a bit, but I still get the 80 pts. 2. What was your player’s most impressive stat this season? Like I just said, first time getting the 80 pts in my career so I will go with that. 3. Do you believe that defense wins championships? I do, and with Summers and our big 3, I believe we have a chance again this season. 6. What is your favorite sport to watch besides hockey? I will go with football here! Even more if we are talking about the Superbowl. 7. Shuffle your playlist: what is the first song that comes up? Last Resort from Papa Roach! 8. Is a hot dog a sandwich? By definition, a sandwich is putting some slice meat and cheese between slice of bread. So unless you separate you hot dog, no it should not count as a sandwich.

2. We have finally reached the trade deadline! How do you feel about our team’s performance now that we are more than halfway through the season? We are doing really good! Second in the conference and close to the top is something that we can be proud of. 3. In terms of playstyle and build, which NHL player is yours most similar to? Look no further than my profile picture! But Yeah I know that Anderson is having a really bad season so far, but I can say that my player is what he should really be playing haha! 4. If you were a VHL GM, what would be the most important attribute you’d look for when scouting a player? Defense. All the plays starts from there. 5. Are you a part of any other sim leagues besides the VHL? Yes the SHL (GM of Texas). Those two are enough for me for now. 6. In your opinion, who is the worst team in the NHL this year? The Sharks. The Oilers have been close but lately they are on fire. SJ will be bad a long time. 7. Is it too early to start listening to Christmas music? I'm writing this as Dec.1 so no. But before that yes while i'm throwing a brick at you.
