1. We're 4-5-1 on the season with 9 points, sitting in 6th place in the division. Is this a slow start that will balance out as we move forward, or something that is concerning? Na, we are too good. We are just making people think they have it easy. When the games start to count is when we will start to turn it on. 2. The colder weather is starting to come, what is your favorite hot beverage to feel all warm and toasty? I don't like hot beverages but if I had to I would go with Hot Chocolate 3. Who is the biggest surprise team so far early in the VHL season? Gul Dukat is near the top for scoring in the team. Enough with the scoring!! More hits! More blocks!! 4. What is your comfort tv show to watch? I don't even know anymore, all we watch is shows that our toddler watches. I guess Curious George, its nice and calming. 5. Are you a believer in importance of process or results? Ex. We outshot DC 59-32 and lost 4-3, should we be worried about the loss result, or should we be encouraged that we outshot them so handily and were unlucky to lose? Process, when you follow the process the results will come. 6. What is your favourite breakfast to eat? Breakfast in the US is nothing but sweet garbage, I go to a place that offers lunch or dinner for breakfast.

1. Training camp is open and the roster to start the season is set! How are we looking heading into the season? Time to get back to the Championship series just to lose again! Just kidding, 3rd times the charm 2. What's the most entertaining hockey game that you've watched live (either on tv or in person)? When my Stepdad and took my Mom and I to see the Boston Bruins and we scored 3 shorthanded goals on them and won like 6-1 or something. Always a good day when a Boston team loses. 3. We've got 3 new players on the team to start this season. Who are you looking forward to playing with? Everyone, we are a team and we are gonna mesh and take everyone down. 4. The NHL's regular season is underway, who are your picks to go all the way from the East & West? I gotta go with my team the Bols in the East and ohhh I dunno, I wanna go with the Ducks or Sharks because the Mighty Ducks got me into Hockey and I like the look of the the Sharks logo/jersey 5. What's one stat from last season that you'd like to improve on this season? Hits, I want to bring the pain this season. 6. If you're organizing a bookshelf, so you sort the books alphabetically, or do you group them by size or genre? After having my toddler completely destroy it time after time, I am so over it and just throw everything back up there as fast as possible.

1. Alright, let's get it out of the way. For a second season in a row, we made it to the Continental Cup Final and lost. Should we be proud of back to back finals appearances, or does the missed opportunity sting too much? Yes, it kind of sucks but them the breaks. 2. What is your favourite meal to cook? Spanish bean soup, anything with Cuban bread. Being in Tampa with the heavy Cuban influence of Ybor City, ya can't go wrong. 3. What's your focus for attributes to work on this off-season? I think its time to have some fun and update Body Checks. I want to see more hits from my guy! 4. Did you see The Batman, and are you/will you be watching The Penguin? I love DC, but meh. They always try to reinvent the wheel and get it wrong. Ill stick with the DCAU, it is clearly better. 5. The end of S95 sees us say goodbye to two franchise icons, Mac Atlas and Jimi Jaks. How do we go about filling the huge holes that those two leave in our lineup for this season? Hope we get two big players in the draft, if not , time to rebuild! 6. Give me a quote from a movie or tv show that always makes you chuckle. This quote isn't from a TV show or movie but form a co-worker. It is the funniest and dumbest thing I've ever heard. 1. Game 6 of our series against Chicago is today (as of writing). On the road for game 6, do you think that there's a difference in the online sim between home ice advantage and playing on the road? With the sim engine, I have no clue, in real life of course. 2. What's your ideal birthday cake? I don't like sweets, give me a bag of chips or something salty instead. 3. We've got 5 players averaging better than a point per game in the playoffs so far. Has the balanced scoring been the key to our success up to this point? It has, but it still isnt enough if we cant prevent goals. 4. Only 5 teams in the NFL are undefeated so far this season, everybody else has a loss. Only 3 teams are winless. Is this parity that we're seeing, or chaos so far? Its to early to really call anything, we will see some teams we didnt expect make the playoffs and vice versa 5. With the loss of the VHLE this coming off-season, what's your favourite season that you've played in the E for any of your players? I only played one season in the E but for two teams. My favorite time was with Rome because I was lighting it up before I got traded to Cologne and turned to garbage. 6. Is October the best month on the calendar for sports? The weather is cooler, football is in full swing, hockey starts, and MLB playoffs. It is the not just the best month for sports, its the best month of the year.

1. We're officially a third of the way through the season and we sit 1 point back of the lead in the North American Conference and 4 points back of the lead in the VHL. Where do we need to improve to close the gap with those teams? We need to outscore teams more. When you score more goals than the opposing team you tend to win them. 2. Last season we had 4 players in the top 10 in the VHL in points, this season we have 0 despite all 4 players still being on the roster and no strategic changes. What has gone wrong for us in that area? Simon giveth and Simon taketh, nothing we can do about that 3. NHL training camps open in a few weeks. How is your favourite team looking this season? Stamkos was allowed to walk so I better expect the team to be better for it. If not, it should be the GMs head! 4. Of the new additions to the VHL roster this season (Kyle Toms, Andrew Skilton, Wayne Shotzky) who has been the most impressive so far? They have all been amazing and I am glad they are there to carry my sorry butt. 5. 9 of our 10 skaters have scored on the powerplay so far this season. What has led to the balanced scoring for us with the extra skater? As previously mentioned before it is the luck of the sim. Maybe if we talk sweet nothings to it it will continue to be nice 6. What is your favourite kind of doughnut? I don't care for doughnuts but my Son says his favorite is Chocolate so we will go with that.

1. Jimi Jaks has picked up right where he left off last season with 13 points in the first 8 games of the season. Will he finish the season as our scoring leader again? Heck yea, the team has only gotten better so he will more support 2. We've got two players shooting the lights out over 14% right now (Jaks and Toms), and eight players who have been unlucky shooting under 8% (everyone else). What do we need to do to get the struggling skaters going? OH I don't know, maybe a team trip to the Mall of America. 3. What is your favourite meal to cook? Hmm, thats a tough one because I have a lot but I have to go with Spanish Bean Soup. Have had a lot of influence when it comes to Cuban food here in Tampa. 4. Despite our shooting woes, we still have the sixth best points percentage in the league. Are we poised for some positive regression in the standings once our shooting normalizes? I hope the sim engine will even things out and that will become a positive for us. 5. The talk around the league during the off-season was that we were in trouble in net this season. Through 9 starts, Toddly Bobbly has a .932 save percentage and a 2.27 goals against average. Should that be enough to shut some people up about our goalie? Its still a small sample size but it definitely will help. 6. Which tv show has your favourite series finale? Um...The Office maybe? I cant really think of many shows that had a good finale.

1. The season is upon us! If you could pick one team to open the season against, who would it be? Moscow, lets get our revenge, that championship should have been ours. 2. Do you play Fantasy Football at all? If so, how many leagues are you in each season? Nope, Id rather control a fake hockey or mainly baseball player. 3. If you could take any NHL player (past or present) and drop them into our lineup for this season, who would it be and why? Steven Stamkos, RIP, you will be greatly missed. 4. Seen any good movies this summer? In theatres or otherwise. Every 80s movie is a good movie. 5. What is one statistical goal that you'd like to hit for this season with your player? More hits, I want 200+ hits the season. 6. Would you rather be book smart or street smart? Book smart, can get further compared to street smart.

1. Jimi Jaks and Diego Machado are set to finish 1-2 in league scoring. How impressive has that duo been this season? They are the dynamic duo that power our offense. Men want to be them and women want to be with them. 2. What was the worst contract given out in Free Agency on July 1st in the NHL? Stamkos and Nashville, or I am just bitter that Stammer left the Bolts. 3. We need 2 points to clinch the Victory Cup for the regular season. Do you believe in the Victory Cup curse, or can we be the team to break it and win both the Victory Cup and the Continental Cup? Well seeing as it has already happened I guess it's not fair to answer but I thought it would happen even before! 4. Do you partake in any fireworks shows for the holidays, be it viewing or lighting them off yourself? My Son is finally old enough to enjoy them. We will be shooting off fireworks for the first time in his life! 5. Joel Castle needs 2 wins in the final 3 games of the season to take sole possession of 2nd place in Legion regular season wins all-time. He also needs 4 wins in the playoffs to take sole possession of 1st place in Legion playoff wins all-time. Is Castle the greatest goaltender in Legion history? Of course, he will go down as the greatest goaltender in the history of the VHL if not the world. Glad to be able to play with him. 6. Have you experienced the awesomeness that is the 1997 cinematic classic Face/Off? I love 80s and 90s movies and this is a perfect example of a great 90s movie. I also love Nicholas Cage movies.
