  1. but i am will be only superstar
  2. Okay I am on pace to be really good goaltender prospect but am want to play in the VHL straight away with no bounds. Some teams have are approach me and ask if I will play in minors but no I will not do and will have play in the VHL 100% guaranteed. I will have admit I am not very good enough yet to play there since in VHLM teams still score a lot of goal on me even when i am best goaltender in league by big margin. We have new danish player in saskatoon oskar harumpf and he is have very active! I am think he can be next big thing if he continues and look like solid pick up for any team so I hope he are do good. I have look back at some other draft to check goalie tpe numbers and am notice that lennox moher is greatest goalie draft prospect in past decade and started his first season with over three hundred TPE. I am think you can argue he was one of best prospect in goalies of all time. I just hope i pick up my play and be better so I can win a championship. We already sit on top of conference but the race is close.

  4. VHLM: Red Wolves Lack Bite The North American Conference this season is thought to be the best but the winners of the European Conference will have a chance to prove that they can also play with the other stacked teams in the league. Here we will go through the rankings and look in depth into the Moscow Red Wolves. General Managers always have a choice on whether they want to compete or rebuild but I believe that this season is anyone's game with most of the North American Conference buying pieces but this will not deter the teams in Europe. Several teams have good cores that can go toe to toe with teams in North America like Moscow. Moscow Red Wolves S39 Record: 12-13-4 Right now this team sits on top of the European Conference with a padding of a mere four points. All of the teams in the conference have a negative goal differential and the Red Wolves are no exception. They lead the pack and have a group of core players that can help improve the team's chances when they arrive in the post-season. How has their team been so far? Let us find out. Offense: Their offense has not exactly been the best of the teams in the league but with the new addition of McGrattan this team will need to expect more. Tyler Cote is an example of a player than can turn around the fortune's of the Moscow squad. He is a point per game but he will need to dominate and prove that he is VHL ready. This center has stiff competition in the upcoming draft with players like O'Malley but if Cote can put the team on his shoulders then teams should watch out. Miller is an absolute monster and has shown a lot of patience in his game. A start to a great season for him and Moscow fans will want him to continue. The new addition of Griffin Simmons should help their offense quite a bit if he keeps up his pace of improvement. These players will be the key to decide if Moscow's ability to put pucks into the net go from mediocre to elite. Defense: Moscow has one of the weakest defensive corps I have ever seen, and from many of the plays you can see that the goals that Canseco allows is not entirely his fault. Main stays include the likes of Moe Mills, Roland Brice and Ludovic Kabambi. The rest of it? Percy Miller and Nicolas Stormborn triple shifting to make up for their short comings. Kabambi is their best defenseman so far but the others still need to improve their play as Ludovic will not be able to handle this on his own. The General Manager should look to improve their roster in this specific section of they want to make it out alive in the European Conference that has four teams competing. Goaltending: Jose Canseco. That is all they have in the goaltending department and even then he has been absolutely struggling! Unable to post a winning record, Jose has been under constant pressure to produce for a team that does not provide him with a decent defense. This team does not give up too many shots and Canseco leads the league in shutouts but the problem is with the quality of scoring chances and other teams get plenty when matching up with Moscow. He also needs to improve upon his own play if he wants to stick it out in the VHLM long term. Overall this team needs to start scoring and Cote has to set an example for the other players that are not achieving their full potential. Griffin Simmons is a piece that will become important in the near future given his dedication and will compliment Cote Nicely alongside Miller. This team should still look to trade for a nice developing defenseman or try to pick one off the waiver wire once more players declare for the S40 Draft. Will the Wolves have what it takes to be the best of the best? It is quite unlikely given that their roster has gotten weaker since last season but I can expect to see them in the playoffs.

  6. i will be elite player as soon as am in league
  7. i am now have sixteen wins in eighteen game and better than every goalie in vhlm league. There will be no point if i have stay in vhlm next season so i am go try my best to hit 175 tpe before season 40 begin because I want starting job. I no want anymore losses so I can be a complete winner. I have no seen stat closely but am think I can be mvp this season if I keep up my play since i am best player in my position. They should actually just have hand me award since no one come even close. to my greatness. I bet i am go first overall in vhl draft and be greatest player to ever play for that organization. truth I really want to go to team that can be kind of competitive when i play for them and not complete rebuild but that probably will not happen. kurtis hunter is good player and active in locker room so GM should have take note and draft high. Richardson and Slavador are best partners in entire league and I think this year Saskatoon can have make splash at playoff time. I am MVP of season already.
  8. VHLM: Lynx Overhyped? Faraday cannot believe the results After the draft many personnel predicted that the Lynx would come out of North American Conference with a strong lead but currently they sit in fourth place, although we are not even halfway through the season. The Ottawa team was thought to have high-end talent that would given them a great record and scarcely any losses but that is not the case here! We will take an in depth look on what has been going wrong with the organization and team as they struggle to meet expectations set for the season. The Good: Even though they are having a disappointing start to the season, there are still many bright flashes on their team that indicate that they will rebound soon. Do not get me wrong, they have many areas to improve on, but there are certain players that are living up to their expectations. O'Malley and Erikson Chemistry These two are a deadly duo playing on the second line of Ottawa's offense and have been producing at a blistering rate. In twelve games they have put up over a 2.0 point per game and lead the way for the Lynx offense. They average over five goals a game and are doing some really heavy lifting to remain competitive. The pair will be relied on to contribute at a similar pace throughout the season so the rest of their team can catch up. If they can't? Then I can effectively say that the Lynx won't be making it far this post-season, if they qualify that is. Defense People talk about the defense of Saskatoon but Ottawa's blue line has been steadily holding their own. Their top 4 appears to be leading in many statistical categories as Jerrick Poole continues to prove why he is a force to be reckoned with. Razzle Dazzle has provided a veteran presence and their mix of both youth and experience has them on a complete roll! They are not overly flashy but are sound defensively and get the job done night in and night out. Poole and his fellow partners will need to continue their strides in development if they want to hold on to a rock solid defense. The Bad: Who was drafted #1? I forgot Aksel Thomassen. For a player drafted first overall, he sure isn't playing like it. Sure you can say he is scoring at a point per game pace but that is not nearly enough if he wants to lead his team the way he was predicted to. He has great line mates and an environment where he should be thriving but it looks like Aksel is playing nervously. One of the lowest scoring forwards on his team without providing much in terms of defensive play either. There is one thing he has excelled at and that is faceoffs. He helps the team retain possession but the team still has a horrendous power play and penalty kill unit. Thomassen needs to widen his skill set if the Lynx ever hope that they can rely on him. Soren Douffet Teams are having a nice buffet from all the juicy rebounds Soren lets out. This is the main key here, if the Ottawa Lynx have any hope of rebounding then Soren will need to prove himself worthy of being the goaltender of his team. It might help if Ottawa bought in a veteran presence in net to take the load off Soren's back so he can play later in on the season as an all around better athlete. There is no doubt in our minds that Douffet has been working hard so we predict that he will definitely come back and be in shape around after the trade deadline. We are certain that the Lynx will somehow comeback from their four losses and go on to knock Rush out of a spot but they are currently struggling under the pressure. As long as Soren remains dedicated they have a chance but they are no longer really considered outright favorites as the North American conference has gotten a lot tougher. It is still early in the season so I definitely have an idea that Thomassen will breakthrough his bubble and produce for his squad. Chemistry is key and the Ottawa lynx still have a lot of time to prove themselves.

  14. VHLM: North American Standings Predictions Will they add another banner to the collection? To start the season we will be releasing our team rankings and where they will stand within their respective conferences. Alongside the rankings will be in depth analysis of each team and why they are ranked where we have placed them. There is a good chance that the standings will appear drastically different from last-season after the off-season and eventful dispersal draft. Here we will discuss the top three that are likely to make the post-season from the North American Conference. North American Conference 1) Ottawa Lynx Ottawa had the most first round picks out of any team in the draft and they managed to snag their pick's worth of talent. They have one of the best forward groups in the league, built around the likes of Faraday, O'Malley, Leskowsky, Thomassen, Tesla and Erikson. The list goes on! They have great depth up front and look to be a high scoring team. Many of these players look to be VHL ready and should make the jump to the big leagues next season. Veteran defenseman Razzle Dazzle anchors the blue line alongside Jack Ryan and Charmander but the real threat is Jerrick Poole. The two-way defenseman will be relied on to put up points and be the rock on the back-end. Soren Douffet is a hot topic these days, the starting goaltender for the Lynx will have to be a solid last line of defense if Ottawa hopes to succeed. 2) Saskatoon Wild Defense. Saskatoon's defensive corps is considered the cream of the crop. Lead by the likes of Joshua Rubin, Gunzerker Salvador, Mason Richardson and Lights Bokan. All highly touted prospects. Rubin is also another standout two-way defenseman backed up by the heavy shot of Salvador and the puck handling abilities of Richardson. Their forwards aren't all too bad either. Svensson is a high scoring center complimented by play maker Rami Jakobssen and skilled forward Kurtis Hunter. They are backed with tough fighters like Boris Belov and defensive anchors like Braxton Hunter. These players will need to be in charge of making sure Skovsgard has an easy job in net. 3) Yukon Rush Despite popular belief of the team falling into the background they still have a decent core that can propel them into the post-season. They don't exactly have the star studded cast of last season but they have many players that can compliment each other. Heikelä will be an important factor when it comes to the success of Yukon; will he be able to bail them out of tough situations? Eti Yoman is paired up with Doran and play heavy minutes on the back-end. The one problem they have is organizational depth and that could hurt them in the long run with Minot and Brampton hot on their trail. This third spot is definitely up for grabs and it will all depend on performance. North American Standings Predictions 1) Ottawa Lynx 2) Saskatoon Wild 3) Yukon Rush ------------------------ 4) Brampton Blades 5) Minot Gladiators

  16. Gunnar Skovsgard: The Biography Some call him Filip Henrikkson while most now know him as Gunnar Skovsgard; there is not much talk about him in North America given his circumstances. There are many stories out there about the mysterious Gunnar Skovsgard but only a few of the rumors turn out to be true. Here we will dissect his life from the very beginning of his strange journey. Born to Klaus Skovsgard and Joanna Henrikkson at a hospital in Copenhagen, the young boy named Gunnar would lead a normal childhood. Gunnar's family was heavily involved in hockey, his father a goaltender for the Rødovre Mighty Bulls of the Metal Ligaen. Gunnar would always go with his brothers to see his father's matches since they were such a good team and grew up loving hockey. His father was definitely his role model when he was a young lad and was able to see his father win the Danish Championship in 1999, a sight to behold as he found a strong appreciation for the game.

He started off learning basics about the game at age five and was a quick skater. His father had trained him continuously for days upon days so his son could become a good player in the future. His development curve was smooth and he would finally enroll in a competitive league at age 9. Following in his father's footsteps he decided to start out as a goaltender. It took sometime but he had proven to be quite confident in his position. Strong lateral movement and a quick glove had many scouts noticing him by the age of twelve. Learning the fundamentals from his dad always seemed like a benefit as Gunnar had shown great poise and knowledge well beyond his years. He posted extraordinary numbers in a sixty game season and many teams on the Metal Ligaen had their eyes on the young Danish talent. Stats GP: 60 W: 54 L: 2 OTL: 4 SV%: 96.5% GAA: 0.75 SO: 18

There would be one moment that changed his entire perspective on the position of goaltending. He went with his family to watch the second round of the play-offs where his father would be playing against the Herning Blue Fox club. The game was a complete disaster for the Rødovre Mighty Bulls as a score line of 7 to 1 crushed them, his father being booed off the ice as he was replaced by the back-up goaltender. This opened Gunnar's eyes to see the harsh criticism goaltenders received and how the fans were so quick to turn on his own father. Klaus immediately retired after the match and Gunnar would make a difficult decision; he was going to try being a forward.

Gunnar spent two years learning the ins and outs of being a center and was highly touted when he managed to put up enormous numbers in his junior career. On his sixteenth birthday there were many offers for him to go play for several teams in the Metal Ligaen. The offers made include teams such as the Rødovre Mighty Bulls but he opted to sign with the SønderjyskE Is hockey club to get away from his father's name. He would play under the name as Filip Henrikkson and was a big name just a season into his time in the league. Filip showed tremendous skating abilities and prowess with the puck. He finished second in team scoring as a rookie and was able to showcase his explosive movement and lethal wrist shot. The main storyline came in his second season, as it appeared that some glitch appeared in the league's database and he recorded a total of a thousand points. This had many scouts in North America scratching their heads but one would extend an offer to Filip to go play in the VHL. After much debate with his family, he decided to take a flight to North America after being selected by the Saskatoon Wild off waivers.

VHLM league management noticed that Filip came with a fake identity and was actually Gunnar Skovsgard. The management having already watched several tapes of Gunnar playing goaltender as a boy decided to give him a chance to redeem himself. The young man had two options, leave the league or stay as a goaltender. There was a lot of internal conflict with the hand he was dealt but Gunnar decided that he would stay in the VHLM and return to his old position. Gunnar Skovsgard is the name he is now registered with in the VHLM but he is a complete unknown to most of the league.

Pros
Hand speed: Gunnar is quick and agile with his hand, easily able to put a glove on incoming shots. Several scouts have seen him in the practice facilities at Saskatoon and say he is a big man that is exceptional with his glove. There was much doubt in whether he would be able to perform as he did once he was younger and it appears that he will have a relatively sound performance when it comes to his right hand. Also tested were his abilities with a blocker and he is able to expertly shield the net from incoming shots and block with precision. He is projected to be a top goaltending prospect but it will take time to develop. He might be a key to a team's cup if they want a goaltender than can provide solid back up. Vision: He has elite vision from his time playing center and this allows him to have an easier time keeping track of players and pucks. He has impeccable reaction time and is able to keep up with quick plays and passes. He appears to be focused on his game, and only his game. Athleticism: He is shown to be quite athletic and can perform acrobatic saves. He can put on a show and provide entertainment with his flashy movements. His agile frame allows him to use his body as a defense against shots. Drawing fans to their seats can't be that bad right?

Cons
Unproven: It has been quite sometime since Gunnar has been between the pipes and this can be a major disadvantage. He has looked very smooth in practice but that is nothing compared to actual games where there will be a lot of pressure on him to perform. Some say they still see a lot of rust in his form and that he should be careful adjusting himself to the VHLM. The Metal Ligaen is a much weaker league so he should watch out for the stiffer competition and going up against different types of players. Flashy: He can keep fans excited but sometimes he overplays a save and loses complete control of the puck. This is the main problem here, puck control. He needs to play proper hockey and be safer but Gunnar takes too many risks and it will cost him big someday. Skovsgard's style needs to be consistent and he has to be smart with decisions. Rebounds: Gunnar is very good stopping initial shots but he leaves large rebounds for opponents to take advantage of. In practice many teammates have been seen forcing him to control the rebounds but he doesn't have the proper positioning to do so.
