This was a hard fought, competitive game, with both teams having over 50 shots. It was up to the goalies to decide who won. In the 1st Period, Vasteras got off to a hot start. Rome's Tyler Steel would take a penalty at the 7 minute mark, and send Vasteras to the PP. At 8:28, Saku Kotkakoivu would score his 8th goal of the playoffs to bring this game to 1-0, with assists to Willy Myers and Ryan Vidot. Rome would quickly tie it up 30 seconds later, however, when Deke Rike would pot home his 3rd. A few minutes later at 11:58, Saku Kotkakoivu would score another goal to bring the score to 2-1, and late in the period, Alessandro Nano would score his first of the playoffs, giving the Iron Eagles a 3-1 lead. In the 2nd Period, the Gladiators would battle back, when Vasteras' Braxton Hunter's penalty sent them to the PP. Hari Singh Nalwa scored his 7th of the playoffs at 7:39, and at 10:20, Otto Numminen would score his 7th as well to bring the game to a tie. The teams traded chances but that score held until the 3rd. In the 3rd Period, Rome outshot Vasteras 23-20, but it was Vasteras who came away with a goal. Rome's Flynn Remy would take a penalty early in the period, and Shaggy Tipton scored on the PP to give the Iron Eagles a 4-3 lead. Xavier Booberry would shut the door the rest of the way, and ultimately saved 52 of 55 to give Vasteras the win. Saku Kotkakoivu was the 1st Star with 2 goals. 3-2 series, on to Game 6.

In Game 6, Vasteras would struggle early, but eventually stabilize and play strong. Rome's Donne Taliferro scored his 1st of the playoffs early in the game at 1:11, to give Rome a 1-0 lead. Not long after that, Alessandro Nano took a tripping penalty and sent the Gladiators to the PP, where Hari Singh Nalwa scored and gave the Rome Gladiators an early 2-0 lead in Game 6, trying to end this series. Queue the comeback for the Vasteras Iron Eagles. At 7:49, Deagun Rust scored his 1st in the post-season to bring his team within 1. Jordan Heavens took a penalty at 10:28, but it was Vasteras who surprised and capitalized with a shorthanded goal on Willy Myers' 13th goal. 2-2 game. Vasteras would score another 3 goals in the last 10 minutes of the period to blow Tobias Reinhart out of the net. Braxton Hunter, Shaggy Tipton, and Armani Calamari's goals brought the score to 5-2 in the 1st Period with shots 17-8 in their favour. Early in the 2nd Period, Donne Taliferro capitalized on a Jocke Jockesson penalty, and brought this game to a 5-3 score. But, at 10:59, Kyle Peace would score a bit of a dagger to the heart of Rome to bring this game to 6-3 heading into the 3rd. Flynn Remy scored an early PP goal to bring this game to 6-4, but Vasteras took over after that. They would outshoot Rome 18-6 and add another goal by Alessandro Nano, to close this one out 7-4 and force a Game 7. Despite a lacking game by Xavier Booberry with 20 saves on 24 shots, Vasteras over-powered the Rome Gladiators with the shots being 46-24. They had goals by 7 different players, showing teamwork to force a 7th game.
