It's been an excellent run of form for Jeffrey Pines' Los Angeles Stars, having just taken down west coast rival Seattle Cubs in a two game home-and-home series. The two high scoring games included a 4-3 win at the Stapler Center, before traveling to Seattle and scoring seven to secure the victory. It's been a while since the Stars haven't put up points on the board - their last regulation loss was eight games ago against the Prague Nightmare. The Spooky Ghosts have proven to be a challenge for the young Los Angeles team, but the point streak is back on the line against them tonight, as well as a matchup against the ice cold Calgary Horsies.

 

The impressive season continues for new Stars forward Dan Dan who was acquired from the Cowboys in the offseason. His twenty goals and fourty-two points have been an impressive sight to behold. Also acquired from the Foals was defender Joe Madison, who is having an amazing breakout season with their new team. Their 16 goals and 24 assists from the blue line have been a necessary contributor after the Stars' defense core was nearly completely revamped in the offseason, only retaining defensive minded Barron Kruulenstien. Nearly the entire Stars roster is above a point per game, a level of depth that is unmatched in the modern VHL.
