Q3: If your player makes the VHL, which team are you hoping to join? Have you had players on this team before?

1. This is something like my 20th season, but it's nice having a fresh new player after a few seasons away.

2. Y'all did the best you could with what you had.

3. My player only wants to be drafted 1OA.

4. Yes, he's a professional wrestler.

5. Both, depending on who it will irritate around him.

6. Of course, my player is from West Virginia, where chivalry is still alive.

 Watching my player disappoint me any chance they get.

Not enough beer for the last game of the year.

I've enjoyed the VHL quite a lot in my long storied years involved with the website. As much as I try to retire and leave forever, I feel like I keep getting pulled back.

Y'all were very good managers, from my very short stint here. You do your best to get players involved, and seemed available for help, and that's lovely.

 

Q3: If your player makes the VHL, which team are you hoping to join? Have you had players on this team before?

 

Hmm, I don't think I have much of a preference. A piece of my heart will always be with Calgary, (my first player was there, I may have had other stints there with other players maybe) but there's always new opportunity for memories and legacy at new locations. I=

 

Q4: Does your player work any jobs outside of the VHLM?

 

Good question! I like to think Gifford is a forklift operator in a chemical warehouse.

Gif obviously, it's right in his first name!

 

Q6: Does your player believe that jack could have fit on the door in the movie Titanic?

 

A common misconception. The problem was never the SIZE of the debris, it was the fact it couldn't support both their weight. This is shown in the movie, check out this terrible quality video around 2:45! She's struggling to get on, he kind of tries to get on/stabilizes it, they both fall in, he realizes it can't support both of them, and he decides to stay in the water.

 VHL is usually quite enjoyable. If it wasn't, I wouldn't have had 4 players over the course of my stay here. I'm hoping to see the forum get more activity as we get into S99/S100 era.

Wasn't here in any official capacity, I am just answering the Saskatoon press conference questions this week because there are several famous VHLers tied to Saskatoon irl, myself included. 

 

Q3: If your player makes the VHL, which team are you hoping to join? Have you had players on this team before?

I am pretty open to playing for most teams in the VHL, but my all-time preference has to go to NY Americans, HC Davos, or Moscow Menace. I've had players on all 3 of these teams before and enjoyed it quite a bit. No disrespect to Chicago Phoenix because I played there too and liked it.

 

Q4: Does your player work any jobs outside of the VHLM?

 Obviously not. Fade Runner is fully focused on his VHLM/VHL career and doesn't have time for any other type of employment. If he did, he would be shooting birds down at the airport. 

 

Q5: Does your player pronounce it gif or jif?

My player pronounces it gif, because that's the proper way to pronounce it in my humble opinion. Jif is peanut butter.

 

Q6: Does your player believe that jack could have fit on the door in the movie Titanic?

I think he could have fit on the door, but the door could not support the weight of both Jack and Rose, so Jack made the right call by staying in the water to die. Otherwise they both probably would have died.... or maybe they could have found something else that would have supported both of their weight, I don't know.

I haven't paid too much attention to the M draft.

I wouldn't mind being drafted to San Diego, in this case.

They barely completed high school and never thought playing hockey was going to be something he'd do.

 my team lost round 1 but now ill be cheering for the Jets.

 Was okay in Highschool, Played UND Hockey for a few seasons.

Talladega and Mercer are the most efficient prospects. They will provide a ton of positive vibes and benefits on the ice.

I want to play with russians. That's the only thing I have in my mindm I don't care about anything else.

I cheer for McDavid and his personal victoria.

Egor entered the university and will graduate from it before he goes up in VHL.

Chicken came first from something more ancient - probably from dinausurs

1. We're going to be right in the hunt for the Cup this season. We've got a quality group of guys here and plenty of them. I can't wait to see what we'll be able to accomplish together. 

 

2. You have to believe in yourselves: it's going to be Saskatoon!

 

3. I'm not entirely sure what to expect points wise, as I don't know who I'll be playing with yet or how much ice time, what roles I'll have, et cetera. I do know that I'm going to be giving 100% each and every time I step on the ice and that opposing teams are going to hate playing against me!

 

4. It's gotta be Eric Lindros. His career was cut short, but in his prime, he was absolutely unstoppable. I've never seen such an elite combination of size, skill, and athleticism, and Lindros could do it all. That's the type of game I want to bring to the VHL.

 

5. You have time to watch TV?

 

6. You cut your sandwiches? I mean, I guess if it's a hoagie you gotta go with the horizontal cut, but a regular old sandwich? No cutting needed there.

3. I think Lapierre will be a solid defensive player. Not a lot of individual stats but he'll be hard to play against.
